Alex's Tree Services did an excellent job removing a dead palm tree, and its stump, from a super…read moretight space in my backyard. On one side, a foot away from a brick wall. On the other side, a foot away from a concrete inground pool. Passing through this tight spot was an underground irrigation system AND also electrical cables for landscape lighting. I was so scared something was going to go terribly wrong. But Alex had a very unique tool - he says he's the only one in the Valley with it - that allows him to cut up the stump more carefully and deftly without nearby damage. He showed me the hole when he was done so that I could see the stump was GONE. Now, you'd never even know there was a tree there. If you need a tree and stump removed *carefully* from a particularly difficult spot, Alex and his crew excel at that and are superb.

I recently met with Alex to go over the trees in my yard and plan both immediate work (it's palm…read moretrimming season!) and longer-term care for my fruit trees and front yard landscaping. From the start, Alex was professional, warm, and incredibly courteous. I had heard so many great things about him and his company that I expected premium pricing--but to my surprise, his estimate was very reasonable, even lower than some others I received. Plus, he is licensed, bonded, and insured, which gives real peace of mind. Alex trimmed my palms today, and his work absolutely lives up to the hype. The quality, attention to detail, and care he puts into his work really show. I've already scheduled my next appointment for the fall, and I couldn't be happier. Alex, I am so glad I found you!

Baudelio is a nice guy and was one of a few gardeners who responded to my inquiry. He came right…read moreover to assess my needs and price the work. We agreed on bi-weekly yard maintenance. He was twice as expensive as my previous gardener, but I went with him after meeting. For a few weeks, things were fine. He showed up as scheduled. I was hopeful. However, all along there were quality concerns. Drip systems were not balanced so plants either got too much or too little water. Lawn mowing was haphazard, leaving the corners untrimmed and unsightly. No lawn edging. Some plants died. Although there is a ficus hedge, he only mowed and blew off the sidewalks. No trimming or other services contemplated by our agreement. The yard actually deteriorated over this period of time and requires significant work to bring it back. Then, without communication, he simply stopped showing up and did not respond to texts for several weeks of scheduled visits. I hope he's ok, but I have had to move on to a more precise service and one that consistently adheres to schedule. I don't have time to manage this work or to engage in a game of Where's Waldo?
