I used to go there all the time. But the treatment my friend and I received from the waitress that wears all the buttons like a TGIF employee and the short middle aged blonde hostess was horrible! They were both extremely rude to us both. This was about a year ago and neither one of us have been back since. My all time favorite diner. Consistantly good food at anytime of day. Gets very busy at dinner time so expect to wait and be patient. Their waiting area gets cold and windy everytime someone comes in so keep your jackets on! Service is great and fast. The desserts are tempting but I don't seem to ever have room for desserts because the entree portions are huge (always). The food is good here, however the last time we went, the waitress not only messed up our orders, was straight up incompetent, but she claimed that you could not substitute a salad or anything with fries that came with the order, even though I've been offered it before. In addition, I overheard another waiter telling a table what soups were available and when I asked to order the matzah ball soup (which the other waiter mentioned), I was told that she "didn't think they had it"..didn't even offer to check. First time here, came in late night for a quick bite to eat. It was pretty busy for a Monday night but our waiter was very friendly and fast. I Didn't get his name but he was a skinny kid with an accent. We ordered the buffalo chicken boneless wings for an appetizer and they were OK, nothing special. I like my wings hotter but that's just my preference. For the main course I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and my BF ordered the chicken cordon bleu over spaghetti. Overall, the chicken was dry and it was smothered in melted cheese (enough cheese to give you a heart attack!!!!) so I just smothered the sandwich with the tomato sauce (which is phenomenal- they have delicious sauce). I substituted the fries for a salad with Greek dressing and they must make their Greek dressing homemade because it was delicious. I loved the salad. My bf was pleased with his meal. I have been here twice and it is more than a diner. Both times I have gone there was a little wait. The wait staff is very friendly. The food was good. I order the Roasted turkey entree. The turkey was moist. The mashed potatoes were good. The stuffing was good but for me it was too sweet. Overall I am very happy with this place. I will definitely be back. read more

This classic diner has been around since I was born. (At least 25 years) Some of the same waitresses still work there! So that should say something about ownership and credibility. This place has jet fuel for coffee which is great for late night or early morning and has never, and I stress never, disappointed on food quantity and quality. The food is slightly above average. I consistently have to send my omelette back for being undercooked. The big plus is that it's 24 hours. Have always heard good things and was excited to try. Long wait for dinner, but not their fault. Food arrived fast and then server was nowhere to be found for the rest of the meal. We could see her stretching and talking to co-workers near the computers but never once checked on us. It was quite hot out and we needed water refills but never got them. A few other servers checked on us and when it was time to pay the tab and get boxes, she was again nowhere to be found. Addressed this with management and told she was usually better and they were surprised. Took a piece of pie home and it tastes freezer burned. Very bad experience and won't return. read more

I love my local diner and eat there often, but going to the Queen is really a treat. I've never had a bad meal there. Their cheeseburgers are too good for a diner. Shouldn't they be flat, dense, pressed meat hockey pucks? But they're not, and each time they are cooked perfectly. If you like onion rings their's are perfection. My personal favorite meal is not even on the menu anymore, but they still make it. Cobb salad in a taco shell with grilled chicken. MMMMM goood! Very good! Food was excellent, hot, and came out quick. I completely Love the large portions, despite my guests saying it was too much food, I don't get that at all. They just gave you lunch for tomorrow too! Why complain? Prices were very reasonable. Go for the 4 course meal which included soup, and salad, and entrée, with 2 sides, and dessert! As the waitress later came by and had to reach over them to gather it, I felt their discomfort. Odd that the young friendly well dressed male host would seat them there before the tip was removed? Second our very friendly and funny brunette waitress returned to our table often, sadly she reeked of cigarette smoke, that was so overwhelming, it was super obvious that each time she left the dining room, she was going somewhere to smoke, which would be fine, if she washed her hands, brushed her teeth, and sprayed febreeze on her clothes afterwards. I stopped in at noon on a Thursday for my first ever visit. Yea, this place is always busy. I was able to get a seat at the counter even though I was asked if I wanted a table. I ordered the daily chef special of beef goulash with buttered noodles. The noodles were a little dry and I've had better mostly at Asian food restaurants. It's food and it's still all good. I ate my meal while listening to Human League, Steve Perry and other 80's tunes while watching the news on tv. Service was pleasant as I thanked Monique for her help. The staff is attentive and socially amazing to their tables, and the food ranges for everyone's picky needs! Went here yesterday morning busy Sunday afternoon. I had me a cheese omelette with Swiss and short stacks of pancakes. It came with home fries and Rye marble toast. I could not finish the omelette Swiss cheese did not taste right. Omelette was a little hard to cut with a fork and home fries were undercooked saturated in Grease. The pancakes were at least decent. Terrible experience, ordered on the phone for pickup, ordered a western omelette and to add cheese and an order of pancakes. The price when i got there was higher than the one of the menu. When I got there the cashier kept taking customers that cut the line in front of me. I then sat down to eat my food and there was no cheese and everything was cold. OMG, I love this place! I live 45 minutes away and I still make an effort to go. The other day I had "The Godfather"- eggs with mozzarella, marinara, and sausage. I decided to check in this place online because of its four stars review.when we got there the place had a funny smell not sure if the carpet was soak in water,but it smell like a very damp carpet.The canoli pancake presentation was horrible."The Salmon soup" had salty taste as if it came out of a can soup the churasco was chewy,tasteless,the pico de Gallo sauce taste like rusted can.The service was ok.the lady tried her best to keep bringing me different food,but all the food she kept bringing tasted dreadful!!.,and I let her know,but she insisted to try other plates of food,overall she end telling me I still need to charge you,which money was not to me,I said ok.I paid,but I will dodge this restaurant in the near by future.nevertheless changes be made.I believe if they fixed these issues it can potentially be a great restaurant it looks beautiful and big.but the food is lacking.not sure if the chef needs to be replaced or the entire staff.or Chef Ramsey needs to pay the owner a visit of reality check. read more
