Empanadas, Pencil shavings with broccolini, dry cornbread and patas bravas.

Came for a girls afternoon. Hotel is nice. Great decor. To start off the drinks were served after the appetizers. Appetizers were not it. A lot of dryness and lack of flavor. And overpriced. Drinks same thing lack of taste, nothing magical about them. The staff is really nice. It's unfortunate that the food and drinks are not at same standards as the staff.

Don't go for breakfast unless you have 2 hours to waste. So slow and service completely ignores you for the most part.

I remember having the Blueberry Breeze, which was light, refreshing, and just sweet enough with the blueberry and lemon. I also had the Kale Caesar, and I really enjoyed it. The Manchego and Serrano-Caesar dressing gave it a little more flavor than your standard Caesar. The atmosphere was one of the things I liked most about Bulla. It was modern, lively, and social without feeling like you had to scream across the table to have a conversation. It worked just as well for lunch or after-work drinks as it did for sitting down and sharing a few tapas. Service was always friendly and attentive, and the tapas-style menu made it easy to order a few things and share instead of committing to one large meal. The 11th Street location was also right in the middle of Midtown, so it was an easy place to meet up for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. Great drinks, good food, attentive service, and a really nice Midtown atmosphere. Definitely a spot I enjoyed and one I wish was still around.

Their "social hour" lasts until 6pm so if you make a reservation for earlier than that, you can get some of the items at the social hour price. I had the Shishito Margarita - it's delicious! We started with the octopus, lamb skewers, and tuna tartare. Everything tasted so good. Then we had the seafood paella to share. Such a huge portion that we even had leftovers. I think the paella was my favorite dish, but it's hard to choose. Abby brought us churros on the house for our anniversary. The churros were great, but I do wish it had a caramel sauce with it. The chocolate sauce is bitter. As we were leaving, they gave us a card for our anniversary and even had it especially for us saying "Happy 15th Anniversary." Such a nice, personal touch.

We started with crispy potatoes in a tomato sauce. The potatoes were not crispy at all, and the sauce made them soggy. Next, we ordered shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. The shrimp were extremely bland, but the sauce was tasty. Since we don't eat much meat, it was tricky to choose a tapas without meat. The cheese board wasn't great too! Overall, I didn't enjoy my meal and probably won't return. Nothing memorable happened, and I didn't feel like I had a great time.

Service was fast and efficient. It was difficult to choose what to eat because there are so many great options. My friend and I just ordered a bunch of things and shared it all. We ordered the mountain bread, Carrilleras, christorra envuelta, Boniato, and the Salmón. I paired it with a fantastic Dirty Gin Martini. For the dessert we order the date cake and it was very very good. My visit was great and left a great impression for my next visit. Highly recommend.

Other than that the dishes were plastic to bad! The gambas were one of the worst representations I've ever had. The taste was ok and they were served on a stale/hard piece of bread.. not good. The service was a major let down with the server being basically nonexistent the whole night! We wanted another beverage and had to sit there waiting. We had to flag the server to put in an order. She showed up at the end offering dessert and the check. Not once checking how the food was. We would have asked to have one dish just taken away and off the ticket. It was too much of a hassle to try and find her so we just paid and left! While the inside was nice, the atmosphere is odd with pop and rap music playing! It's a tapas restaurant....why is it so difficult to play Spanish music! Match the food and intent! Won't ever go back and certainly don't recommend!

We sat outside, and our waiter was incredible from the moment we sat down. He was so attentive, friendly, and genuinely such a vibe. We ordered one of the large plates, and after an extended amount of time, we realized it still hadn't come out. I believe the manager came over to check on us, and she sincerely apologized for the wait. She ended up comping several side dishes for us, to the point that I was honestly worried I wouldn't have room for the large plate once it finally arrived! What stood out to me most was how sincere everyone was. We were completely happy sitting there, chatting and enjoying our girls' night, so we weren't upset about the wait at all. The fact that they went so far above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience was completely unexpected and genuinely appreciated. And, of course, the food was delicious. This experience absolutely won me over, and I am officially a Barcelona Wine Bar stan. I'll definitely be back to this location!

I hope I get the parking situation right but she directed me to a lot, that you pay via either an app or website. She took care of it so I'm not sure. Just be sure to pay because she mentioned that enforcement is serious out there. Walk down to the beltline and you should be able to find it. If not, GPS it. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Picanha a la Parrilla Pulpo a la Gallega Tomate Fresco Patatas Bravas Tuna Crudo Bruselas Enjoyed the tapas. I didn't list them in any particular order but I will say I liked the Tomate the least. The rest, I'd order again or eat on a return visit and if the table ordered it. I'd pass on the Tomate. I guess I was looking for stronger seasoning or more flavor. Service was hit and miss. Friendly and nice but either was intentionally leaving us alone to talk because he did swing by a few times before we placed our order - because we were catching up. A few times I had to ask other servers for help, including asking to close out the tab when it was time to head out. There were other items on the menu I would have loved to try if I had more room so it'll have to be on my next visit. I am a big fan of sofrito so the cabbage was delicious. The appetizer they serve you with popcorn and roasted chickpea was a wild combination but divine. I've tasted roasted chicken before and this did not disappoint. But the fries were cut in a way I haven't experience. It made them fluffy like a wedge but still crispy. Seeing this relatively new restaurant open up at PCM excited me as they were offering Spanish-style chicken. Not sure if it they rotisserie style or baked but either way it's very flavorful. The first time I went they were offering a lunch special of a quarter chicken and fries. It was awesome and their fries are different from your typical style as these are crispy, yet fluffy wedges. The second time I visited, they were no longer offering that special so I settled for a chicken sandwich which was very good. The sandwich is on focaccia which is my favorite type of bread. It's definitely worth trying amongst the sea of options at Ponce City Market.
