My Li has repaired numerous laptop desktop computers for my family. I would highly recommend his services.

If you need a console repair, I do not recommend that you go here. They contacted me back the next day and advised my ps5 was repaired and everything seemed to be fine. I picked my console up and when I took it home, it didn't even power on when I hooked it back up. I immediately called them and went back the same day. They stated they would look into it and see what's going on. They later gave me a call and said the device is still not powering on. I was advised by a manager by the name Justin that they didn't have the "necessary equipment" to figure out the problem. I ended up picking up my device and taking it to another repair company. The tech from the other company informed that whoever worked on my ps5 previously used too much Liquid Metal which leaked into my motherboard causing the system to malfunction. I also have photos taken from the tech as proof. At this point I am owed another ps5 from UBreakiFix. Justin told me to bring the device back to him to look at it again. I didn't hear an update from him as it has been nearly a week, so called them and Justin went on PTO without giving an update. He also got his higher up Monique involved but I was never contacted by her personally. I had to call and speak with another manager who finally gave me a device replacement almost a month later. Overall customer service and communication was terrible.

Longer story short, we came to Ford Rd bc we love the nearby food. Drop off went smoothly, and they were done in half the time quoted. Seems like quality work, done fast (we'd prepared to just come back the next day and we're surprised that they completed the job before we were done at NeeHee's). Great experience.

I will also state that I know this is a first world problem and that it has to do with my drone (which at the end of the day is a toy). In early August 2025 my drone had a crash. There were some repairs that were going to need to be done and right before I shipped my drone to Florida for a repair I came across MXT in Westland. Very excited that I wouldn't have to send it out of state, I dropped the drone off. I paid initially for an assessment and was assured this fix would be no big deal and they should only need it for at max two weeks. I of course was very relieved thinking I'd have plenty of time this fall to fly it. Let me just say, I just received it through the mail yesterday, more than two months after I initially dropped it off. Two weeks and two months are two totally different amounts of time. If I would have been told two months from the start it would have been a totally different story. I was patient for the first couple weeks and gave the benefit of the doubt in every excuse/reason before I started inquiring for the status after not hearing anything. Once I started making contact to try and get updates, I was told they had just received the new shell and that they had been sent the wrong one. I was given excuse after excuse and reason after reason why it hadn't been completed yet. After being assured it was complete and being packaged for sending out, it was then that they realized a landing gear was partially broke. I was called and asked if I wanted that to be fixed. I reiterated at this point that I want the drone repaired and as close to brand new as they could get it. I was assured that wouldn't be a problem and should just be a couple extra days. Couple days go by and no word. I call and find out the guy who fixes the drones was gone out of town and when he gets back he will be fixing it. Another week or so goes by and supposedly that had been fixed now and the only issue was when it was getting packed up for shipping (mind you I never even gave them my address because I was going to be picking it up) they found another cracked area at the base of one of the arms. Again I was asked if I wanted that fixed or just leave it to which of course I reiterated again I want everything fixed. They were going to do that and then it would be sent. I proceeded to contact this business probably 8-10 more times with verbal phone contact to have been told it was shipped and I would be receiving the tracking info. Only problem, I never gave them my address like I said because I was going to be picking it up. Oddly enough if you can believe this, one of the times I called to ask again for the tracking info I was told it got returned because of insufficient address details. You think? That's because they didn't have a clue what my address was because they had never asked me for it. I think after as many attempts as I had made (after not having my drone for two months) to find out what was going on with my drone, the owner finally shipped it USPS and sent me a tracking receipt. Of course I was excited by this point knowing that I had been told that everything had been repaired and was as close to brand new as they could make it. I received the drone and opened it up to basically find that 1.) the landing gear never got replaced and 2.) the cracked piece by the arm that had been discovered and was going to be fixed never got fixed. I attempted to call MXT and to as kindly as I could figure out what was going on in the midst of my major disappointment. The fact that it never got fixed wasn't the owners fault, he "thought" the work got done. I let him know that wasn't acceptable and he continued to push the blame on "the drone repair guy." If you own a business and you are the one who accepts an item for repair and you have your business' name on it, you better hold your people that you farm these jobs out to accountable and should inspect every job to ensure it's completion and operation before it goes back to the owner. I'm no fool and wasn't born yesterday. I know the reason why they wanted to ship it to me was so I wasn't standing in their "store" when I discovered that after more than two months the drone was not repaired. If I would have driven down to Westland to pick this up to then figure out that I was being lied to all along the way, I would have been even more disappointed, so thank you for sparing me that experience. I probably should have trusted my gut from the moment I pulled into the parking lot of this establishment. I should have never let this go on for more than two months only two still now be left with a drone that isn't repaired. No one enjoys being dragged through the mud or put through the wringer. I didn't need to be lied to and didn't need this level of dishonesty and then to have been hung up on twice when I called to voice my frustratio

I frequent the plaza where iComputers is located but never had an immediate need. However, I had the question about what was on my phone (even though I did not see a sign that indicated that he works on IPhones). The owner was FANTASTIC. He answered all of my questions and made a couple of suggestions (one that I have already started using). He was patient and genuinely cared. And EXTREMELY knowledgeable. In these crazy times, it is so important to know that the person whose help that you're requesting is going to help. This man not only helped, but gave me suggestions that were so welcome. If you need assistance with your electronics, give iComputer a call, email or smoke signals!! He knows his stuff. He is very nice and interested in you, your problem and how he could help. It so important to support our local businesses (there's a new Smokin Buns & of course, El Agave if you are hungry).

Such was the case for me, when my trusty Dell XPS-420's mother board decided to fly south after 15 years of great service. In some ways, it's was like losing a trusted family member. After doing some research on local computer repair shops, I decided to take my PC to Ray at IComputers in nearby Belleville, mostly on the recommendation of coworker of mine. She said her cousins go there all time, and the Ray the owner is honest and straight-forward. This is reassuring, since computer repair can be very similar to taking your automobile in for service. You never know if a simple problem with Windows 10 is going to cost you an arm and a leg, and believe me when I say this, there's lots of "shysters" out there looking to make a quick buck in this profession. Fortunately, this business is not one of them. Thankfully, Ray has many years of experience in the computer world, and will analyze your needs. He always come up with a viable solution for you, whether it's from repairing your PC, or doing a custom build from scratch. No matter what your needs are from being a Web surfer, to a high-end gamer needed a liquid cooled system, IComputers can build it for you, using the highest-grade, long-life components available.

Since then I've never taken my computer concerns anywhere but Jafferson Computer. They've dealt in similar fashion with hardware issues and with software issues. Their results are excellent and the price is perfect, because their approach is efficient, and intelligent, and prudent, and because their expertise and experience is deep. Recently they again excelled. They solved several similar but not identical operating-system problems in a pair of wonderful older Asus Windows 10 laptops: the fraternal twins Asus1 and Asus2. They were bought a month apart and are nominally the same exact model--but actually are not. Comparing the slight differences in the responses of the 'twins' helped Luke to analyze and diagnose. This sort of thing is why they're the best. Plus Mateen and Luke and anyone who has worked there are nice people.

Next time I need a repair, I'll have to try somewhere else because this place is CRAZY expensive. I paid $150 just for them to figure out what the solution was. That fee is not applied to what you pay for the actual repair should you decide to have them fix it like it would at a car repair place; it's just $150 to have them tell you what's wrong. They then quoted me $250 to reinstall windows and fix a broken hinge. I was iffy but said yes partially due to the sunken cost of the diagnosis and mostly because they promised me they would be able to upgrade my laptop to Windows 11, which the laptop had been telling me was not possible. So this seemed somewhat worth it to me to have them do. I went to pick up the fixed laptop, and immediately noticed that they had to drill totally new screw holes into it to install the new hinge. It looks pretty bad, but I'm really not picky about aesthetics so I let it go. But then they started it up to show me it was working, and I cannot even explain how INCREDIBLY slow it was as they tried to use it. Like, Windows 98 was faster than this thing was running, and I had previously never had any speed issues with it. I said something along the lines of how disappointed I was that I had now spent $400 and honestly couldn't even realistically use the laptop anymore. They offered to just install Windows 10 again instead, but like I said, the main reason I decided to pay all that money was because they assured me they could upgrade it to Windows 11. So they ended up refunding me for the repairs (I'm still out the diagnosis fee) and wiped the laptop and gave it back to me. After going home and doing some research on my own, I was able to reinstall Windows 10 on my own in about a half hour for $10. I cannot believe they were going to charge me almost $200 to do that!!! My laptop is now working exactly as it did before, and I learned my lesson.
