I love Pollo Tropical! I bought a takeout of the chicken, rice, and beans combo for two. The plan was to take it home and freeze them. These are the perfect meals to take to work. I was hesitant due to some poor reviews. I thought the service was fast and friendly. Plenty of seating. My only complaint would be that several tables were dirty and left over food was on the floor. I don't know how long it was there, but staff should be aware of the dining area just as much as the prep area. read more

This is our neighborhood Pollo. I'm surprised it's gotten so low ratings. Great service in the drive-through. They're very fast and very attentive. We always get offered sauces and always get something extra. We always get the meal plus some sides. This is a great event because it's so fast compared to other Pollo. Food is always delicious. I wanted a salad so I stopped in to see what salads you have. Slim pickings. All just with romaine lettuce. No variations of leafs. A little spring mix or arugula salad would be nice. I remember I had gotten the Caesar salad a while back and went with that choice. I was so disappointed. I remember it used to come in a really big circular plate with strips of grilled chicken on top. Now it came in a little oval plate with hardly any lettuce or chicken. I mean you are charging $8.99 for a little bit of lettuce and super chopped up dry chicken. And the chicken was super salty to boot. I wish you would step up your salad game and ease up on the salt. I came to buy a cesar salad wrap two days in a row. The first time the chicken was burnt within the first bite which ruined the entire taste of the wrap. I came back the second day hoping the same thing would not happen. I had to take out at least 5 pieces of chopped up chicken because it was black/burnt. Made the taste really bad. I won't be getting another one. Also I have come here for years never really had any big complaints but if the chickens going to be burnt and ruin my meal its not worth it. read more

This place is a joke. It seems as if the managers and employees are not interested in customer service. They don't pay attention to the orders. When there is an issue with the food, apparently it is the customers fault, because the employees act as if you've insulted their abilities. I love Pollo tropical, but this restaurant is not their best example or representation. On a side note, don't try to call the customer service line, they don't answer or return messages. I know I've tried on 4 separate occasions. Always get our orders wrong, closes earlier than scheduled, rude workers, constantly out of items, and the drive through takes ridiculously long. They'll ask you to wait in the parking lot and then not have anyone to bring the food to your car. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever!!! The drive through order screen was broken and the audio didn't seem to work as the employees never responded after 5 minutes waiting.
