Every time I go to this location the food is fresh and delicious! One of the newer locations but they have some great quality food. The wait is rarely very long and the flavor is always on point. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the staff sometimes not being that friendly and sometimes they don't have certain Items but overall that's not a big deal for me. It's still one of my main go-to's! I ordered the half chicken meal. It all was fantastic! The chicken was really soft/moist and full of flavor! I didn't need to add salt or anything else to because it was so well seasoned. The rice was cooked PERFECTLY! Soft and no hard pieces. The rice didn't need any additional seasoning either. I didn't really care for the beans. The skin on them was a bit too tough for my liking, but it wasn't bad. It just didn't score as high as the rest of the meal. The service was spot on! I was able to order quickly and got my food within 2 minutes and it was very hot, wrapped in paper with some juice that leaks out of the chicken so be careful when you unwrap the chicken. I appreciated the packaging as it kept the chicken hot until I got home. The wrapping seals in the juice so it doesn't dry out on the trip home. I really don't have anything bad to say about my experience with this location! I will be returning OFTEN when I want to eat a bit more healthy meal. Conveniently right off a major intersection in South Garland, this location has plenty of private parking. Also, the drive thru is available for use especially during this pandemic. The staff wears masks and gloves so it is safe for them as well as the customer. They have a variety of combo meals that are reasonably priced. I have been coming to this location since it opened, and gave it a great review last year. The last two times I've ordered from the drive-thru my order has been wrong. Last week I ordered an extra sauce. I paid for it and realized when I got home, it wasn't in the bag. Tonight, first of all, I sat in the drive-thru for at least 30 minutes. I ordered my usual chicken flautas with double charro beans (one of the only reasons I keep coming back), and they completely screwed up my order. I ended up with refried beans and rice. Once again, I've been disappointed when I get home because I don't like rice or refried beans!!! Something else I noticed about the flautas is that they had very little chicken in them. The girl working the window never repeats the right order when you finally get to the window, and she definitely does not check to make sure, what she's about to hand you in the bag is correct. Soggy and the chicken was stringy and tough with no flavor. The tacos, carne asada, chicken and Pastor were all tough and overcooked with no flavor as well. Pathetic. I sent a complaint to the website and a customer service rep called me right away. He thanked me for the input but said no refund or discount for me. I thanked him for calling me and told that I wouldn't be eating at any of their establishments in the future, especially after spending $26 for cat food and not getting as much as a free meal or a discount. Tried the soft corn taco entree (5 different meats/combination meats). I thought this would be a good opportunity to try a bit of it all. Chicken was great, everything else was fatty and gristly. First bite of barbacoa was all fat, grilled beef was, of coarse, skirt steak and inevitable due to the internal gristle it was uneatable. I could not even give it to my 2 dogs.
