We have been trying to eat here for a while now. They close early at 3pm and we mostly go out for dinner. We finally made it out here to grab lunch and we loved their tacos. The carnitas and fajitas tacos were the best. Their salsas did not taste like they came out of a can. The beans and rice were good but hands down the fajita and carnitas tacos were amazing ! They were flavorful and soft with no mystery meat pieces. The mango drink was tasty too. Nice, casual and clean authentic taco place. Friendly staff, nice decor. Ordered the Steak Fajita Taco Plate, but ended up subbing in a Chicken Fajita for one of them. For the lunch taco plates, you get two tacos served with rice and refried beans on flour tortillas. If you want, you can ask for corn tortillas instead. Both tacos tasted pretty good, but I have to say, the chicken fajita one ended up being my favorite. Don't get me wrong the food was amazing great tacos tasty beans and rice and good spicy salsas for them , service was not bad , I'm not a fan of tip baiting on screens but that's okay , the restaurant was clean but empty , music turned on about half way into my meal but the only real issue I had was the prices 16$ for three street tacos and rice and beans is criminal , and asking for a tip at that price point is impossible I want a few tacos without spending close to 20 bucks good food to expensive for the amount though so probably won't be back for that reason many other spots with food just as good for half the price read more

This place deserves a 10 star rating ! So I was in the area getting my daughter's hair braided and decided to get us some tacos .. got on yep and this placed piped up! I am so glad I did ! She ordered 4 chicken fajita tacos and I had the streak fajita taco plate ! The meat was seasoned ! I don't mean seasoned with onions and cilantro I mean like they sprinkled seasoning on while cooking ! That made us so happy! The onions tasted fresh ! The corn tortillas were taking home made omg! The food here is awesome! Their cilantro line ranch is....let's just say, I put that shit on everything!!!!! So far I have had the crispy taco plate, and the enchiladas plate! I love the rice drenched in the cilantro dressing! The only thing would be better if they stayed open longer....when I get off, they are closed and I because I am super tiredI have to surrender to tex- mex...and who would want to do that???!!! It's nice to have a decent taco place nearby the house to fill my taco needs. Specially when you have a crave for tacos served quite different than ones made at taco bell. They look very successful and had orders flying out just after opening. So they have seemingly found a niche where they can survive. When I decide to try Indian, I go to go where the Indians go. When I want Asian Thai, I go where the Thai people go. Always good advice. So when I crave good crispy shells and quality and well cooked meat this is that place. I had a simple Doctor Pepper and two fajita Tacos blended with sautéed onions and bell pepper. Very tasty and went down quick. It as also served with a side of chips and salsa. My only problem with the place I love fire sauce and extreme spice, but what I had held up and was quite filling. So yes I'll be back in the future. read more

This taco shop is one of my favorites. Everything they serve tastes amazing. My favorite thing to get for breakfast is their steak egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese tacos with breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes are damn good. For lunch they have a taco salad that tastes great with the ranch. It's a specialty ranch but at the moment I can't remember if it's cilantro lime or avocado lime, either way it's GOOD! The owners are sweet and the girls that are sometimes at the counter give great service. This is the best Mexican food establishment in Dallas County. I love Mexican food and I am very critical about how it tastes. Love this place! I had been looking for a place with some good breakfast tacos for 6 years! THIS IS IT! We've been going there for, what, like a year now? Before the pandemic we were in there probably 3-4 times a week every time any family would come into town, we could not let them leave without coming here first! Yall, I buy the house salsa by the pint, literally. It's THAT good. And don't get me started on their jalapeño cilantro lime ranch. This is a great alternative taco place in Mesquite. Can't speak to authenticity of street tacos. I would say this falls in line with Tex Mex or eclectic. The fajita breakfast taco would be my favorite. Food is always fresh and tortillas are soft. They biggest issue other than closing at 3 pm is being too stingy with their salsas. I mean they charge for asking for 1 more even though a taco is not cheap. It seems to be family owned and they are friendly. Never disrespectful. Be more generous with the salsas especially the cilantro lime salsa and I would visit more and may just bump this review to a 5. read more

The employees are very friendly and they do a great job of working together as a team. It is a very good place to the point that I drive all the way from Dallas to eat at this Cici's. They beats all of them. The other managers need to talk to the manager here and ask her how she runs this place because it is done with a spirit of excellence. There was also a gentleman probably in his 40s overseeing the dining operations, he ran a tight ship, and was most likely the reason everything was prompt. The place even seemed a bit lighter and the atmosphere was a little more family friendly. Oh I also had a margarita after reading the reviews. It was perfect in my opinion.
