Don Churro Taqueria - Delicious chicken street tacos

The inside is so cute with tablecloths on the tables and plants in the window. Very charming. I ordered a few things to try 2 mexican chicken tacos, 1 american taco, rice, chips & salsa. The Mexican tacos were $3.25 ($4 @ the other taco place I tried), the American taco was $3.75. Rice $2.05, Chips & salsa was $5. The Mexican tacos were delicious! Meat was flavorful & tender topped with cilantro & onions. Served with 2 cucumber slices, 2 radish slices, limes and tomatillo sauce, and grilled onions! The American taco was listed as ground beef with potato which I thought was different but it totally worked. This was a hard shell taco and the meat was not like a typical beef taco at a Mexican restaurant. This was typical browned ground beef with small diced potatoes in it. There was a good amount of grease from the beef to add an extra beefiness to the taste. Topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream - just perfection! I'm a big rice fan and this rice was excellent! The flavor was so deep like it had been working for a while - wish O had ordered 2 or wish they had a large size. The chips & salsa were good. The chips were perfect - served warm and not too heavy on the salt. The salsa was a mix pf fresh veggies that had been blended not too spicy, not too heavy on the cilantro for those who don't like it. All in all I will definitely be back. Already have my eye on the grilled chicken dinner or a tortilla.

I totally recommend this place.great food and Great people that work there. Owner very friendly…read more Food tasted delicious

The food is made fresh, the portions are generous, and you can tell they put a lot of love into every dish. They also offer weekday lunch specials starting at just $12.99, making it an incredible value. We ordered a little bit of everything, and not a single dish disappointed. The parrilla was the star of the table, piled high with perfectly seasoned grilled meats, shrimp, grilled cheese, avocado, fries, and fresh vegetables. The empanadas and tequeños were crispy and flavorful, the arepas were delicious, and the Venezuelan fried rice was packed with flavor. We also loved the fresh juices and desserts to finish the meal. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. If you're craving authentic Venezuelan cuisine or want to try it for the first time, I highly recommend stopping by. It's always a pleasure supporting a local mom-and-pop restaurant serving fresh, delicious food at a great value. I'll definitely be back!

My friend got the brutal burger and really enjoyed it as well. Food is 10/10 and would definitely recommend this place. The workers were nice and helpful whenever I had questions. There is a good amount of seating inside and the walls had nice artwork all around. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

For those that are visual they offer photos over the counter to help you decide. Pupusas here are fab. The food is fresh and made to order. Chicken with a mushroom cream sauce over some of the most fluffy rice I have ever eaten. Seafood soup is a huge bowl of tomato base with a little cream mixed in and a hint of heat is by far one of my favorites. My brother in law was gobsmacked at he molcajete and talks about it each time I see him. Why pay ten bucks for fast food when you can come and get great quality food like grilled salmon at roughly the same price. #supportlocalbusinessowners They also offer larger portion / catering upon request. I've had them in Los Angeles and Richmond Virginia where they have the largest populations outside of El Salvador, yeah I know El Salvador the country is tiny, but that's about 7 million people plus. This is the second time I've eaten here and disappointed, wish they would put more cheese and cook the dough more. As for COVID risk assessment. 7 or 10. Day labors don't like to wear mask and they are not rejecting folks due to the economical instability of the pandemic. Maybe next time I'll try the soup? If they can't make that right, they should consider them self a Salvadorian restaurant.
