Their PUPUSAS are delicious‼ I've tried the beans & cheese, cheese and Chicken Pupusa and they were good. Chicken and cheese is my favorite. I don't care for the slaw and or cabbage that comes with but the sauce is good too with PUPUSAS. I also tried 2 pastries. One had strawberry & the other was pineapple. I call mine in because they do get busy and I don't like waiting.

I dropped in after running some errands for a quick and delicious snack. The attendants were very nice and answered all of my questions about the items. It is part restaurant, part store, and park canteen. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

Customer service was ok. I ordered chicken empanadas and 1 steak taco they were ok. The portions were tiny and empandas were hard, not freshly made. The taco meat was tough but the sauces were good. The ambiance was busy but felt welcoming.

I've wanted to try El Salvador Bakery for quite some time because the parking lot is always full and it didn't disappoint! Between the two of us we ordered a carnitas torta, a cheese pupusa, and two chicken and cheese pupusas. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly, the service was very friendly, and the ambiance was so authentic. There's a grocery area but we didn't do any shopping. Other people ordered these HUGE bowls of soup that looked so good and I for sure will be trying one when I return. I highly recommend El Salvador Bakery!!

The lady at the counter spoke good English and was very kind! She did take my order and just walk away so I didn't really know what to do at that point. So I walked around the little market they had. A bunch of random things for sure! They even had what looked to me as gambling slots lol They are kinda slow for sure - but I guess they are making it fresh - they should give you a heads up of how long your expected to wait. The lady that took my order never came out of the kitchen again. I ordered a 2 cheese and bean pupusas and 1 cheese and chicken pupusa. They were okay and one of my pupusas was burnt -_-

So after years of eating pupusas while growing up in California and then moving to Atlanta trying to find an equivalent tasty pupusa that reminds me of home cooking, this is the place. It's no match for the pupusas growing up but it's a good alternative. It's a mom and pops hole in the wall that has a little convenient, bakery store, along with a restaurant. The restaurant side has a few tables. This place gets packed during lunchtime and you'll have to stand, waiting to get a seat. The menu consists of traditional Salvadoran food. I have had their soups, tacos, breakfast, tamal and my favorite pupusas. Try their tacos with their hand made tortilla. Worth the extra 25 cents. The ladies that work there are friendly and most times fast service. They have endless salsa or bachata playlist, at times even gospel music. It has a very down to earth ambiance. They don't need to fluff the restaurant setting, as the food speaks for itself. I love it! I love the food, the vibe and even the baked goods. I enjoy visiting as often as possible.

After driving by El Salvador Bakery for more than 15 years (I think) - I finally tried their Pupusa (Chicken) and tacos (Chicken). Because of my 'American palate' - I wasn't a huge fan of the 'flour' tortillas used for my tacos. (I really feel like they were soft corn tortillas, not flour tortillas as discussed - at length - lol.) But that doggone Pupusa - it was DELICIOUS!

We had the chicaron and chicken queso Papusas! Super yummy and authentic! Fried plantains were amazing! Will come back again. Be sure you allow extra time, service is a little slow, but it's worth the wait!

I've had a million pupusas and these were dry and the dough wasn't right - where's the cheese?!…read more Pupusas are one of my favorite foods from El Salvador. I've had them in Los Angeles and Richmond Virginia where they have the largest populations outside of El Salvador, yeah I know El Salvador the country is tiny, but that's about 7 million people plus. This is the second time I've eaten here and disappointed, wish they would put more cheese and cook the dough more. As for COVID risk assessment. 7 or 10. Day labors don't like to wear mask and they are not rejecting folks due to the economical instability of the pandemic. Maybe next time I'll try the soup? If they can't make that right, they should consider them self a Salvadorian restaurant.

Unfortunately, the pupusas are small for what you pay for and not the best, they are just ok. However, it settles any craving since Salvadoran restaurants are limited in this area. I ordered the traditional dish with the tamale, chicharrón and yucca. The yucca was good, the tamale was ok and chicharrón was as expected. Nothing amazing. The pupusas lacked loroco. I could barely taste it. The revuelto pupusa was good. My husband's garlic shrimp with rice was good as well. The prices were average, pupusa price was a little expensive for the small pupusa you got. Overall, this place was ok.

Well, this El Dorado Salvadorian restaurant is one of those As I arrived I was greeted friendly and got seated right away. Chips and salts are brought out. The salsa for the chips was amazing. The chips nice and thin and crisp. Today was Tuesday so I got the taco special. $2 tacos as long as you buy soft drink or tea. I had two chicken and one pork street tacos on homemade corn tortillas. The chicken was very good. The pork was excellent. The toenail salsa that came on the side was tasty and just a little heat. Not too much for this gringo. LOL So I want to thank Luis and his uncle who are the owners of this restaurant for the hospitality and the great food today. I really enjoyed our little chat about the difference and Mexican food and local eateries. I'll definitely be back. Bring my partner and have a full dinner.
