Went for lunch with some co-workers and this is certainly an unexpected gem. We got the bravo combo and shared, family style. It came with their signature chicken, the salchipapa, and an avocado salad. Service was great, frequently checked in, and split the check without fuss. It's a small and cozy place, nothing particularly fancy. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy, well-seasoned and delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. The sausage didn't add anything in particular besides extra salt. The avocado salad was good as well, something a little healthy amongst everything else. I wish I had opted to try their dessert because it looked yummy.

Best roasted chicken. Very moist and flavorful. Lots of side options. Didn't really care about the sides. Plantains and yuca are very standard everywhere you go and it wasn't any different here. The green sauce served with the chicken is the bomb. The place was clean, service was pretty fast and food was fresh. Will come back for chicken!

I come here often. Can't beat their rotisserie chicken and yucca fries and it's priced very reasonably. The even have a lunch menu!

Been seeing this place for a while heading to Pearland on 288 freeway so finally decided to check it out. When you walk in, you can order at the counter for to go orders or if dining in, you take a seat at a table and a server comes to take and serve your order. Our server was great and very attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu - chicken, beef, seafood (pictures attached). But I believe their specialty is chicken. My husband and I shared the 1/2 chicken "Mini Combos" for $14.99 and paid $1 extra for all white meat. It comes with 2 sides and we chose Mexican rice and red beans. A picture is attached. Everything had a really good flavor however, the chicken was somewhat dry. I still enjoyed it. They have both a red and green sauce. I tried both and liked them. Overall, great value. They have happy hour. Kind of strange hours, it's on Thursdays and Saturdays from 3-7pm and an all day Monday special. Pic of menu that includes both is attached. They also have lunch specials (menu pic attached). It's a nice airy and clean place. They also have a bar (pics attached). I'm looking forward to trying it again

Got the M-W lunch special today and it is 5 stars! comes with white or mexican rice and red beans- delicioso. I chose the mexican rice and it was tasty but note it has cilantro for you soap tasters. The chicken breast was so juicy and definitely was marinated with love. Last but not least the waitress was very nice and attentive. Will be going back and often.

I went and ordered takeout for their Peruvian and Mexican food. They are popular for their rotisserie chicken so I ordered 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (spicy cassava and plantains). I also ordered lomo saltado and alfajores (was fresh). They are all so delicious. The owner, Emma, was nice to explain some of the menu items to me. I'll definitely come back for more.

Nice addition to the pearland food round up. Definitely a few notches above that dud called Pollo tropical. Service here is AMAZING. Very sweet folks and professional. The inside of the restaurant is clean and cozy. The food...chicken was very good. I still used the green sauce but even without sauce, it was a smash. The pianono dessert was strange to me. Way too dense and sweet. Definitely a diabetics worst nightmare (or dream come true?). The beans were ok. Not very flavorful. But I've noticed a lot of places keep beans mildly seasoned. Not sure y. The cassava fries were piping hot and fresh. But unfortunately, I asked for the spicy ones. Dont be like me. The spicy ones come with a coat of red something. All I tasted was extreme salty. It was actually inedible. One last point...probably call ahead. I waited about 15 or 20 mins for my food because I ordered in house. Not bad. No complaints because food was hot and fresh. But I imagine if it has been a weekend (I went on a Tues I believe and restaurant was emptyish), it would have been closer to a 45min wait. Final grade: Solid B+ I'd definitely go back whenever I am craving some Peruvian chicken.

Pollo Bravo gets 5 stars from me! They tout their menu as being Hybrid Peruvian food and Mexican food as well. Aiming for healthier food, I loved that the chicken was rotisserie style and that everything was so fresh and delicious. I ended up here randomly leaving a visit in Pearland after my sister there pointed it out as a place she also wanted to try. The Gordos Combo was plentiful for my family of 3 and I will definitely try the one that I now located closer to home! As I briefly waited for my order to be ready, I walked around and checked out the place, it is clean and beautifully decorated showing cultural pieces throughout. There is also a cute small bar area and plenty parking out front. Service was great and the staff was very well organized. Menu is a nice size and I do look forward to trying out other options when I visit again.

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

The hunger pangs hit and I just happened to be near this place. I've only seen it in passing but haven't really seen much chatter on the local foodie pages on social media or on here. I arrived around the end of breakfast and there wasn't much of a crowd inside. Parking was easy right out front. I was a little confused at the ordering process. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. She did an amazing job from start to finish. I was expecting just a taco joint, but they have lots more to offer on their menu. They have gorditas, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, breakfast items, soup and entrees. They also have your usual drinks options along with agua frescas, shakes, juices, margartitas and beers. I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I decided to try both. I went with the dish that has the same name as the restaurant. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke. This place is very close to my house and I will most definitely be back to make my way through their menu.

The tortillas? Greasy enough to leave fingerprints on your soul. Crispy on the outside, sure--but in that "I've been sitting under a heat lamp questioning my life choices" way. One bite and oil drips like it's trying to escape the crime scene. The meat is usually overcooked to the point where chewing feels like a personal challenge. Any natural flavor is gone, replaced with "salt + fry + regret." And don't get me started on the salsa: nuclear-level spicy, not because it's nuanced, but because pain is the only thing left to feel. I opted for the Plato Soldado (soldier plate) since they were running a Memorial Day/July 4th deal where a small donation was made for every order. It included a steak fajita taco, cheese enchilada, and pork tamale. All were excellent and there was plenty of steak inside. The sides were also great.
