Boyfriend got menudo. It was alright ..not enough hominy and it had posole, which he wasn't expecting. We shared a barbacoa taco and it also was just ok. It wasnt greasy, which was nice but there was nothing amazing about it. I had chilaquiles and that was the highlight. They were super cheesy and had a great flavor to the salsa. This is our favorite restaurant. The Mexican food is outstanding, with the best homemade salsas (red, green, ranchero, etc.) to be found anywhere (with plenty of chips served with each meal served inside), and they also have the best, most delicious, freshly-made flour and corn tortillias found anywhere. So, after eating here for your very first time, you won't believe how outstanding the food is, since the cost of all of the meals here is extremely reasonable, and an excellent bargain, with prices so low that anyone can afford to eat here every day (even more than once a day!) The large menu that has a lot of variety gives you a choice of many different excellent different Mexican food meals to choose from, all wonderful (including excellent beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, and vegetarian options.) Their very popular soups are also all totally amazing and so satisfying. This restaurant has been in business for many years, and we have had just about everything on their menu, and we have never been disappointed, but rather always delighted with the many meals we have eaten there for many years. In addition to their wonderful lunch and dinner menu (and daily specials), the breakfast is also the best breakfast served by any restaurant in town (or anywhere else, for that matter.) This is a great dine-inside restaurant, with the best waitresses and the best service you will find anywhere (even when compared to the most expensive restaurants), and the restaurant is always sparkling clean (the owners and workers take great pride in this place) and the dining areas are nicely-decorated, so we enjoy eating inside this place all the time. But, this restaurant is also an excellent drive-through and take-out restaurant, with fast drive-through window service, that allows you to take home food that tastes so much better than any of the fast food chains, even though the food costs about the same price as those chain fast food restaurants. And, this restaurant also has very long hours, opening early for breakfast beginning at about 7 a.m., and then not closing until midnight (for a late dinner or a late-night snack.) Honestly wouldn't ever tell anybody a place is terrible or leave a one star unless absolutely necessarily. Well I been here over 5x and keep trying to give it another try since it's convienant & then horchata is very good. The fajita meat is terrible with more fat then meat. The tortillas are hard as a rock or cold. The barbacoa has a really bad taste with bunch of fat as well. And worst of all is the roach problem they have had for many years. Roach will literally crawl onto your table and these are not normal size roachs their huge! Stay away. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Worst service ever! Ordered eggs and bacon. Bacon came burnt and after one bite in and we found hair in eggs!!! We got up to leave after we informed the managers and they still tried to charge us for the other meal which we weren't about to finish after finding the hair. We actually heard the 2 managers say well we still have to charge them for something so they charged us $6 for 2 drinks which we told them we weren't even going to drink... worst customer service and awful attitutes displayed management and not a good place to go to... read more

The restrooms are horrid! There was poop on the floor and I stepped in it. Completely disgusting. To make matters worst the owner had ZERO sympathy and did not offer any compensation for the experience. He basically said it was not his fault and too bad. The food was really bad too. The pozole had no flavor and the chicken tasted like they didn't clean it well. It is no wonder there was poop on the floor. People probably got diarrhea from eating it. read more
