Was Wanting Tacos For Taco Tuesday & We Stumbled Up On Dripped Birria & I Must Say We Ordered The Quesabirria Tacos & The Shrimp Tacos & They Did Not Miss Everything Was Delicious

I will start things off by saying that I love birria tacos. They're arguably my favorite Mexican dish. So, when I was in town visiting my parents, and I discovered that Dripped Birria had opened close to their place, I stopped by with my mom for lunch soon after they opened on a Saturday. Parking is easy in the lot they share with several other businesses. Ambiance (3.5/5): Fast, casual dining. It's a relatively small restaurant with several tables. You order at the counter and they call your nam when your food is ready. Funny decor, including a sign that says "Taco Dirty to Me." Service (N/A): Since you don't have a waiter/waitress serving you here, service isn't a big part of the experience. Drinks (4/5): Your usual soft drinks plus three agua frescas. Naturally, I went with an agua fresca. I never say no to fresh juice. Food (3/5): We went with the quesabirria tacos, birria egg rolls, and loaded birria fries. Their menu is pretty simple as it mostly consists of beef or chicken birria in various iterations: tacos, loaded fries, or egg rolls. There's also a dripping ramen variety. This was my first time having birria egg rolls, so that was pretty cool to try. The thing is, the quality of the birria is only so-so. And that's what's most important. You want the birria meet to be nicely marinated, tender, and flavorful as you dip it into the warm consomee. You want some cheesy gooeyness to ooze out of the taco. Dripped Birria doesn't stack up to some other places I've tried. Part of the problem is that they cover everything in various sauces, including one that's spicy. Birria tacos aren't spicy, so this was a surprise. Despite everything, Dripped Birria is not too shabby for a chain, with several locations in Houston and surrounding areas.

Customer service lacking: Kennedy B representing the front of the house, is a not a good fit or needs to get some "Hospitality Training " definitely lack any personality nor customer service skills to be in the front of the house to represent this business. After taking your order she resume back to her electronics. I was not acknowledged nor felt appreciated by this business, She never responded with a "Thank you " or "Your Welcome " She brought my order to table I thank her and did not get a response. I asked for a Togo container , said thank you and "No response. I pray the food is better than the front of house service. I ordered the 5 birra tacos: stewed beef, a little spicy (pepper) would have like more flavor, like seasoning. Any side on like sour cream, guacamole etc are an extra. A dipping sauce with 2 spice levels came with the order. The tacos could have use more cheese and the taco shells could have been crisper. The restaurant was clean and tables clean and set up. No music, very quiet!!!! But it was noon on a Sunday.

The birria tacos are really good. The ramen was delicious but I needed to give it since time to cool down. Kennedy was super helpful in helping us decide what to get. Sadly, the birria fries were not available. I'll be back to try it.

I got the "For the Streets" tacos, which came with a side of rice and beans, and honestly all the food tasted really good. I appreciated how the tortillas held up because I've been to some places where they sadly just fall a part. The sauces were flavorful and had a nice spicy kick to them too. I dipped my tacos into my friend's birria since mine didn't come with any, and the birria was 10/10. The prices were on the higher side for sure, and I can't say it was better than food truck tacos, but it definitely satisfied that craving. The place has a cool, neon/hip vibe inside, and the people behind the counter were really nice.

This was a very good find for fast food tacos. It's a small little place that's deceptively busy. Whitney was spot on for recommendations. Hubby had quesabirria and I had quesadilla and we shared some Elote. All three were excellent We will definitely be back.

You know... my motto is tacos make life better! And dripped is no exception! These barria are the BOMB!? We went on taco Tuesday with a happy hour special AND we got a free taco!! So we tried the chicken taco; oh holy feathered fowl! It was delicious! Corn tortilla was crispy on the edge and corntastic with a consommé that was fresh and loaded with veg! The gentleman at the counter was super sweet and helpful and the dining area clean. I love me some barria tacos... and these were ... fan-freakin-tastic!!

A hip take on birria makes this place an easy add to our rotation. It's a smaller venue but gets the job done. Interior is hip and as instagrammable as the decor is, the lighting made for tricky shots of food, at least for me. Ordering is done at the counter and they call out your name to pick up when ready. They've got some aguas frescas if you want something different to the fountain drinks. Tacos themselves are delicious and they are pretty generous with the queso. Consome is very reasonable as well. Ramen portions are large and goes a long way. We also tried their elote which while good, didn't really seem too unique. Prices are about average for birria at about $5 a taco.

    $16.99 Quesabirria Tacos

The place looks amazing, they have pretty lighting and the parking is easy so that's good. There are no servers so the service is fine. But when it comes to the food, not so great. It was my first and last time coming. On their website their quesabirrias tacos are $16.99 and the picture looks to be like a decent sized amount of a taco. When I ordered it in person, and the worker gave it to me, they were the tiniest tacos I had ever seen. In the pictures they did NOT look like about the same size. It was $16.99 for such a small portion. Literally not worth it and honestly a scam!!! It should not be $16.99 for such small tacos... In the picture you'll be able to see and compare how small the tacos are with the lime, literally like twice as big as the lime which is still small!!! Truly not worth it. A family of 2 infront of me got 2 orders and got their food before me and they finished their food at the same time as me because it was so small. I left hungry.

Ok, I was put off first by lack of service and the do it yourself order and check out. But the real shocker is I paid over $21 for two tacos and two egg rolls. The egg rolls were not that bad, but the tacos? That was a complete joke and insult, shall I say robbery? The sauce was right out the refrigerator! Skip this lame ass place, save your money. Better tacos at a cheaper price and much better service just in the next block. Won't be back.

The service is beautiful, nice ambiance, the food is literally 10/10, and the place itself it very clean plus the bathroom. Definitely coming back

I got on the trusty Yelp app and the rest is history. Located in a shopping center, next to a Mexican restaurant and an ice cream shop, parking won't be an issue. Service (3/5): Service isn't really a big part of the experience as you order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. They don't check up on you typically after that. I will say though that sometimes the people working the counter are a little unenthusiastic or clueless as to the promotions that are currently going on. So I have to take things down a notch or two because of that. Ambiance (4/5): This is one of the areas where Daiquiri Express shines. Bright murals cover the walls. Including Frida Kahlo. It's pretty awsome. This is a laid-back spot so don't expect elegance or sophistication. For what it is, they do a good job. Drinks (4.5/5): One of the things that first attracted me to this spot is that they are different than your typical daiquiri spot. Most daiquiri places have Cajun food or no food at all. Here, daiquiris are combined with Mexican toppings like tajin, candy, and more. They also have Mexican beers and margaritas. You have to order the largest size to get a take-home cup and all of the cool toppings but A+ for presentation. There's a good variety of options and they pack a punch. Food (3/5): Having gone here quite a few times, the food can be a hit or a miss. Sometimes it's flavorful and sometimes it's dry and overcooked. There's a lack of consistency. And I've tried a lot on the menu. Tacos, quesadillas, loaded fries, taquitos, etc. The taquitos are dusted with hot Cheetos which makes a fat kid at heart like me excited. Though it was a bit too spicy for my taste. The loaded fries are a generous portion and perhaps my favorite item on the menu I've tried. Another thing I like about Daiquiri Xpress is that they have a rewards program where you'll get things like free agua frescas, tacos, etc., they have a happy hour, and they have daily specials. I'm always a sucker for a deal and I like that they give you multiple opportunities to do so here. I just need a little more consistency in their food.

I wanted to like this place, but my experience here was incredibly disappointing. I know it's a daiquiri place, but it's also a Mexican restaurant. I really wanted a margarita but for some reason, they didn't have any. That basically left beer as the only other alcohol option (we are in Pearland after all). I tried to order a Dos Equis, but they were out of that too! It drives me crazy when you try to order multiple menu items only to be told that they are unavailable. The beer options were mediocre but I finally decided on an Indio. They dressed it with lime and salt and it was actually very good. The street tacos are $2 each on Tuesdays. If you order barbacoa, birria, or beef fajita, it's an extra $1.25. The beer was $2 and happy hour goes until 7 pm. I ordered three tacos; one carnitas and two chicken fajita. The carnitas was okay. The chicken fajita was extremely dry to the point that I didn't even eat the second one. I loved the cilantro and onions, but the toppings with the salsa could only do so much. My friend ate the other chicken fajita taco and he agreed that it was very dry. We sat at a high top table. The bar stools are small and extremely uncomfortable. I ended up standing for the majority of our visit. The restaurant is very colorful and has cool murals. Parking is plentiful. If you sign up for their rewards program, you can get a free dessert. The churros looked good, but I did not try any. The only reason why I'm rating this place 3 stars and not 2 is because everything was so cheap. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

The hunger pangs hit and I just happened to be near this place. I've only seen it in passing but haven't really seen much chatter on the local foodie pages on social media or on here. I arrived around the end of breakfast and there wasn't much of a crowd inside. Parking was easy right out front. I was a little confused at the ordering process. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. She did an amazing job from start to finish. I was expecting just a taco joint, but they have lots more to offer on their menu. They have gorditas, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, breakfast items, soup and entrees. They also have your usual drinks options along with agua frescas, shakes, juices, margartitas and beers. I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I decided to try both. I went with the dish that has the same name as the restaurant. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke. This place is very close to my house and I will most definitely be back to make my way through their menu.
