I wish I could have given 5 stars for the beautiful work. The bride wished for wisteria to be the main flower (fake ones would have totally worked) for the ceremony. She asked about it 5 months prior to the event and it was promising then. Wisteria represents our late son, the groom's brother, and I was very moved for her to be including wisteria in their wedding. The bride didn't hear from the florist until about a week before the wedding... No communication during the five months. It was much to our disappointment when the florist told us on the wedding day that the wisteria she was going to use was "all taken by others and couldn't be brought" to our wedding. Wisteria meant so much than just a wedding decoration. It has been a huge part of our life. We have planted our wisteria tree for our late son and that is where all of our family photos take place throughout the year, every year. If Victoria told us there is a slight chance that she may not be able to secure the wisteria, we would have gotten them on Amazon. It was too late. We tried not to let this incident ruin the special day, but disappointment is an understatement. When the bride and groom paid upfront, we hoped their only wish to have become true. read more

While planning my wedding, I made a recurring joke that I wanted so many flowers that we would need to hand out allergy medicine to our guests. Victoria from Pollen in Love made our dreams a reality. She is not just a florist, she is an artist. Her technique and skillful execution was jaw-droppingly beautiful! Victoria kept in touch throughout our wedding planning. She shared other projects she was working on, including a full Mrs. Claus dress for a floral art show. Her style is absolutely meticulous and creative. Prior to our event, Victoria gathered insight on what we wanted for our big day. We shared our color scheme but she was able to lend us her creative eye to get the design just right. We met with her weeks before the wedding day and did a walk through of the venue. She was familiar with the venue already and gave us insight into her ideas. On the day of the wedding, Victoria arrived in the morning and was in her zone. The wedding decor was absolutely beautiful and everything we could ever want. The aisle was filled with floral arrangements, the wedding arch was asymmetrical (a design element we were in love with), the centerpieces were tall and full, and the head table was surrounded by color. Additional touches were found at the guest table, wedding signs, bar, cocktail table, and photo booth area. She included some decor from her personal collection along with the flowers. Victoria can handle any design a couple wants. She is up for the challenge and strives to leave the couple and guests breathless. She really is professional and talented. Extremely Poor Communication, Failure to Meet Expectations, and No Attempts to Rectify the Mistakes We hired Victoria for our July 2025 wedding and had a deeply disappointing and saddening experience with her. Victoria was extremely difficult to get a hold of after we signed on with her and has ghosted us since our wedding and the email in which we shared this feedback with her. We paid a premium for Victoria's expertise and attention to detail and gave clear instructions (both documented and over the phone) around what we wanted, yet what was delivered did not meet the agreed upon standards. We provided multiple inspiration photos for our arbor, all with the top of the arbor fully covered in flowers and vegetation, which Victoria stated that she would be able to deliver. The arbor Victoria created for us covered maybe 60% of the top of the arbor structure at our venue, which was really disappointing given the incredibly high cost of the florals. Further, the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets also showed up with green chiffon ribbon, when we requested white satin, which meant the bride was attempting to hide the ribbon in all of the photos. We highlighted all of this to her in an email and she has failed to respond for weeks, even after we followed up. While some of the flowers provided were beautiful, the lack of attention to detail, failure to deliver what was promised, and complete lack of communication following our emails about what was provided at the wedding has completely tarnished our view of Pollen in Love. An absolute nightmare of a Florist. First of all, Victoria was so bad at communicating, she wouldn't reply for weeks at a time, even when we sent follow up emails. When we expressed to her that we were concerned with her lack of communication and that we would expect her to reply within 1-2 business days or at least confirm receipt and inform us of when we can expect to hear back from her. She told us "I unfortunately can not guarantee 48 hr turn around on emails." And did not offer any alternative solution, just excuses for overcommitting herself to other clients. We requested our deposit back and asked to formally end our contract with her THREE TIMES when she kept failing to respond to us, instead of improving her communication or releasing our deposit to find a more reliable vendor she refused. She also lied to us about the language in the contract. After having a lawyer review it, they said her inferences on the wording in the contract wouldn't hold up in court, which lead us to feel like she was manipulating us with bait and switch tactics. I sent her my vision board, specific instructions and details in January and she kept "forgetting" what they were and put the wrong details into the propose plan. We signed our contract with her in January, we were not able to finalize a plan until Mid June (two weeks before our wedding) because of her lag in response time and lack of focus to details, constantly needing correction. The final nail in the coffin was the day of the wedding. She not only, didn't have the arbor that was in our agreed plan, she wanted to charge us extra for renting someone else's arbor, even though we were promised an arbor in our agreed upon plan. Talk about unnecessary stress to be dealing with on your wedding day. She also harassed our photographer for access to our wedding photos even though we had it in our photographers contract that no photos from our wedding will be shared with any other vendors or used for promotional material without our permission. Overall we found Victoria unprofessional, manipulative and unreliable. We do not recommend working with her. Our day of coordinated also confirmed similar issues from other brides that worked with her. read more

I highly recommend finding a more reputable florist to avoid unnecessary stress for your wedding day. Victoria is perhaps one of the most incompetent business owners in Seattle. She is communicative up until she gets your deposit and contract signed at which point you will no longer be a priority for her. She will use pressure tactics like telling you there are multiple couples looking to book her for the same day to get you to sign quickly. After she has your money, she will take weeks to respond to your messages, miss meetings or calls that you set up, and will generally become a rude and unpleasant person. She will also lie to you about the terms of the contract. We are aware of one other couple that is taking her to court for failing to meet her obligations and refusing to return the deposit. This is the last thing you want to be worried about ahead of your wedding. read more

Victoria is an exceptional florist and did an AMAZING job with our wedding. We were working on a limited budget for florals, and many of the florists recommended by our venue were totally out of budget. When we talked to Victoria, I immediately knew I wanted to work with her - she was professional, knew our venue exceptionally well, and was excited about our vision. I was totally blown away by what Victoria accomplished within our budget. She was able to work with the venue and leave up hanging vines from the wedding the day before (something I wanted but was out of our floral budget), and took advantage of a sale to get us extra centerpieces for the farm tables. I gave Victoria my vision as wildflowers and mossy/ferny/PNW vibes, and she created pieces that were completely stunning and exactly what I wanted. I couldn't recommend Victoria more, and am so grateful to her for making our wedding so beautiful! read more

The Fern King &Pumpkin Queen We were having a very intimate wedding and I told her I really wanted it to feel dark and moody with a very monochromatic look. Our colors were white black and of course emerald green. Through everything that we had spoken about she was always very responsive and provided photos to ensure that our brain on the same page as our visions in our brain. No of course I was a Covid Bride so I had booked her early 2020 I wanna say and then of course we had a post pone she was a gem to work with and made the whole process so easy for us to just go to the next year! Funny enough, my best friend and I who we were both in each others weddings she had hers on a Friday and mine was on Sunday and we both use Pollen In Love. Pollen In Love and I talked before the wedding a few weeks before execution we both decided that there was an archway that we thought would look much better with a floral design and she absolutely killed it I'm pretty sure she calls me the lady of the ferns because My husband wanted ferns everywhere on this huge archway but not only that I wanted more pumpkins then guest to be at my wedding which was achieved! Not to mention I begged her to incorporate quicksand roses as those are the ones that I used for our elopement and this was our celebration. I highly recommend NEVER DIYing your bouquet; it was the worst choice I ever made for the elopement. So when she made my celebration bouquet she was able to get those quicksand roses for me. I pretty much fell apart into tears when she sent me a preview pictures because it was really hard to get them and she made it happen. It was that perfect touch to incorporate are elopement and the ribbon being part of the elopement colors was a touch I couldn't have asked for, she just knew and made it happen. I think the photo speak for themselves just how beautifully this all came together and how well she executed our colors and theme With our massive Archway, beautiful bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets, specialty ceremony pumpkin arrangements, another Archway, pumpkins galore, several centerpieces for the tables, plus STUNNING sweetheart table; our price was phenomenal I was honored to have met her while she was setting up for my friends wedding and just hearing her personality and how excited she is to do what she's doing for a living I would absolutely encourage you to support this woman because she has a true passion for this and she's going to make it right. Updated on 10/29/24: After I posted my initial review, Victoria reached out regarding the disappointing reception tables. She informed me that she would be requesting a refund from the wholesaler because they had provided her with the wrong type of baby's breath, and said she would pass the refund on to me. I did receive a refund today for the reception tables - which I appreciate. This is long, but I want to be thorough in an effort to help other future brides in the wedding planning process. I was very optimistic when I first spoke with Victoria about our wedding florals and, ultimately, the greenery on the ceiling, the aisle pieces, and my bouquet truly captured my vision. However, there was significant disappointment with several aspects, particularly the reception tables, which is where the majority of our budget was spent (pictures are attached for reference). The reception tables, my husband's pocket boutonnière, the sweetheart table, and the overall communication after I paid her our save the date deposit/ throughout the process fell extremely short of expectations and what was promised. Regarding the reception tables, Victoria mentioned to me (3 days before our wedding) that baby's breath and roses were so simple that even her "12-year-old son could put it together." This remark felt unprofessional and off-putting, especially considering the amount she was charging for something deemed "so simple" and the ultimately incredibly disappointing result. The final product did not reflect the inspiration photos that I provided, the inspiration photo she sent in return that was similar but her own work, or the quality that was anticipated. The tables appeared uneven, lacked volume, looked as though they had just been taken out of the box and laid on the table, and the roses were simply placed on top of the baby's breath rather than standing up as expected. The attached photos include the original inspiration I sent to her (pic 1), a similar table previously completed by Victoria that she sent back to me when confirming she could fulfill my vision (pic 6), and the actual result from the wedding day (pic 2 and 3). In the end, it did not resemble what was requested or what was promised. Also, for $60, she placed 4 small flowers on a piece of cardboard for my husband's "pocket boutonniere" and they began to wilt and brown before the reception even began (pic 4 and 5). Additionally, throughout the process there were multiple missed meetings, a change in pricing from what she originally quoted me, and a lack of professionalism. Overall, I wouldn't recommend her to family or friends given how stressful my experience was with working with her and the disappointment I felt with the pieces I mentioned above. I had emailed this review to Victoria shortly after our wedding in July, hoping to get a response of some kind, but have not heard from her since. From our first consultation, it was clear that she truly understood my vision. If you haven't booked with Pollen in Love yet, or if you have a signed contract but you can still get your money back, even if it's just $1, GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN! Choosing Victoria was by far the worst thing that happened to our wedding, and we will forever regret it. For the first time in my life I truly understand the phrase "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy". The worst of it: When requesting table arrangements we said "For table flowers I want to make sure they're at varying heights/widths, have a really good amount of bolder colors mixed in, and a really large variety of flowers." Instead we got these rinky dink little arrangements. The majority of the flowers were roses, which I repeatedly told her I hate. We asked for a small waterfall off the table, and instead we got a literal branch. At the head of the table you'll see a naturally forming arch with lights on it. We asked for the arch to have white flowers added to accentuate it, but of course that didn't happen. For my bouquet I said "I would like a very full and kind of whimsical look to it. I definitely want a lot of mixed foliage, but I don't want to see stems or anything tying it together, and I would like a healthy yet matching variety of white flowers and drippy flowers [amaranth]." The picture of my bouquet is not what Victoria made. As soon as I saw my original bouquet I was so upset by how ugly and tiny it was that I refused to walk down the aisle with it, so our wedding planner tore apart the arrangement on our welcome sign and added it to the bouquet. After the wedding Victoria admitted she made me the wrong bouquet. That horribly disgusting circle of leaves was, unfortunately, our arch. I don't know the laws on posting someone else's picture so I'm not going to, but the arch we asked for was the exact arch she had already made for one of her wedding photoshoots. It was a gold hoop, the upper-righthand side was bare, and the entire rest of the hoop was covered in ferns and foliage and amaranth and white flowers. Instead we got... that. Again, more roses and blatantly ignoring my request for dahlias and peonies. For everything we asked for I gave example pictures, but she was nowhere near anything. I genuinely cannot express to you enough that she got LITERALLY NOTHING RIGHT WHATSOEVER. When I confronted her about it after the wedding she claimed artistic freedom. Sure, that's a thing, but that's a cop out for what actually happened. On top of the failed floral arrangements, it was just a hassle to work with her. Everything was sweet at first, but after we were all paid up she'd go weeks without responding and the tone of the conversations totally changed. If you can't get out of your contract and all other florists are already booked, pay the high prices to hire someone out of state and tell Victoria to stay far away from your special day. read more

We originally got married during lock down.... and had a "redo" wedding after Covid calmed down, i wanted my flowers to match my wedding colors and blue can be tricky but she did such a beautiful incredible job incorporating with my other colors!! I had the best experience with Victoria with Pollen In Love. She was very easy to work with and she understood my vision for wedding flowers. She was absolutely over the top with what I has asked for. Her center pieces were big and beautiful. She made my arch very intimate and fresh and modern. The best part was my Bouquet! All I wanted in my Bouquet was white flowers with greens. It was very flowy/boucey with the greens but the flowers were sturdy so they didn't feel like they would pop out. And she listened to my wants as I wanted a "bigger" Bouquet than normal, but not too big. It was the perfect size. We had a few meetings within the year of wedding planning. She has a Pinterest, so I connected her to one wedding board so she can see my colors and vision. She always communicated with me if there was something that wasn't quite sure of, but she made it work and I was so pleased with how it turned out. All the compliments on the flowers from friends and family were so kind and nice. I didn't know what I wanted the Boutonniere's to look like so she sent me some pictures of what they could look like and I was very pleased. Victoria - was nonetheless very honest and and took me on as a budget bride client. When all other local flower companies REJECTED my business because my budget didn't meet their MINIMUM requirements to even take on a client. She is out of Monroe, but she always met me half way if I needed to hand off vases, to meeting up the morning of the wedding to grab my Bouquet and the Boutonniere's because we had pictures at an alternate location other than the actual wedding venue. We used Pollen In Love as our Florists for our wedding. Our arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres turned out beautiful! We were on a tight budget and Victoria was able to provide a very positive experience within that budget. I did not have a color scheme for our wedding and my only request was for some dahlias to be used. I provided them with some ideas I found on Pinterest and requested that they use their artistic/creative ideas to create our arrangements. We were thrilled when they arrived to set up the flowers for the wedding and saw how wonderful the arrangements were with very little direction from us! (The larger arrangements went home with family members and lasted 2 weeks after the wedding!) With the suggestion from Pollen In Love we decided to go with a boutonniere that did not contain any flowers which fit very well with the attire of the groom and groomsmen. The process was very easy and the communication with Victoria was excellent. I would highly recommend Pollen In Love for any floral needs that you may have! 12/13/21 UPDATE: Victoria contacted me months after the wedding in what I can only assume is an attempt to have me take down my review. She said when brides ask about my review, she shows them a photo from my wedding with her florals and insinuates that I approved for Seattle Bride Mag to post it. To be clear, I did not approve that photo to Seattle Bride Mag. They obtained and posted it without me being aware. The only person I approved to post that was our photographer because of the incredible job she did, including her work in post-production that made the flower arrangement appear better than it did in-person.   The uncertainty on those flowers left my husband and I with anxiety up until the very last week. Victoria gave us her word that she would reach out to figure out all the flowers with us in January. That turned into March and then August. Then one month out, we reached out and she said she was so busy even then with other weddings that she'd have to contact us 2 weeks out instead. She didn't even do that! We had to request meetings within weeks of our wedding day, which she forgot about several times.   Meanwhile, we'd see her constantly active looking for even more weddings to do on the Seattle Wedding & Event Network Facebook page where we found her in the first place.   In her text, Victoria fell back on the contract which required us to agree that the flowers we would receive on our wedding day would be subject to availability. While Victoria is certainly capable of producing a pretty arrangement, she has serious client management issues. If something like the floral arrangement is subject to item availability, how can you not get a grasp of the current inventory and inform the client? Because she took the majority of our Zoom meetings from her car or yard whilst pre-occupied with something else, I don't think she really understood what I wanted. For example, I told Victoria I didn't like leather leaves and asked for smilax in the bouquets. The bouquets I got had a ton of leather and no smilax. If this was due to an issue with her inventory, she never communicated to me about it. Going back and looking at the contract, I see she only wrote, "foliage with hints of flowers." It seems like she fell back on her invoice notes but failed to recall specifically what I asked for. This was one of the many issues with lack of attention to detail we ran into with her. read more

Victoria was by far and away one of my favorite vendors to work with during the wedding planning process. We, of course, got postponed because of COVID, and she was more than willing to accommodate our date change. Because of that date change, we ended up getting married a year later than we originally planned, which caused our life circumstances to change as well. In that year, I started medical school full time, my husband's work hours ramped up a ton, and we found ourselves having significantly less time to do our originally-planned DIY projects and simply couldn't fit them into our schedules. Originally wanting to make my own alter and no longer being able to do so, I turned to Victoria with some different ideas for an alter that she could do, instead of doing it myself. She was honest and upfront with which options would be too expensive for our budget and helped us come up with a plan that suited both our vision and our budget. And she was willing and able to do this with limited notice. We also had quite a few changes last-minute because of supply chain shortages caused by COVID and were unable to get the garlands for the aisle runners and tables that we originally planned to purchase ourselves. I went to Victoria in a panic 2 weeks before the wedding and she was able to magically source garlands for me and actually got them for less than I would've paid had I gotten them myself! Overall, I went to Victoria with changes and additions so many times, especially within the last 2 months before the wedding, and she took each change and add-on in stride and was able to help us each and every time with kindness and enthusiasm, putting me at ease and alleviating the added stress I would've felt otherwise. We got so many compliments on our aisle runners and table decorations, bouquets, boutonnières. And my floral hairpiece, which I wanted to be unique and fabulous went beyond my expectations and made me feel like a Winter princess. And to top it all off, the alter was by far and away the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, infinitely better than the original alter I had planned to make myself. I'm so glad she was able to do it instead, it pushed our wedding that much further above and beyond anything I could've dreamed of. I would recommend Victoria a thousand times over for any floral needs, she truly is an amazing artist and wonderful human being to work with and her customers won't be disappointed in the slightest. read more

Should have gone with my gut feeling initially when I thought this woman sounded too good to be true. Once the contract was signed and money was handed over, trying to get a hold of her was like pulling teeth. I was told a mock bouquet trial would be done a couple weeks before the wedding to ensure the look was everything I wanted but when the time came her story changed and was told she's never offered that. When it came time to chat the week before the wedding to make final arrangements she tried canceling twice and then seemed confused and unorganized about everything that had previously been discussed to be done. When it came to the day OF the wedding, she never showed up. Instead she sent her teenage daughter and her boyfriend, who, though were nice enough, had no idea of what was discussed to be done and even left without saying a word with an entire table being left undone and an arbor un-anchored and leaning. I never once received a message stating she wouldn't be there nor an apology during OR afterwards for lack of communication. If I could have rated lower I would. This is not the kind of stress anyone wants to deal with on their wedding day. read more
