Planning a…read morewedding without breaking the bank or the planet can be surprisingly challenging and Karli brought great ideas to help us achieve both! We didn't want to use cut flowers that we knew would be composted by the next day or flowers that had to be flown in from out of the country, so Karli helped source different potted plants, flowers and herbs in our color scheme to use for our wedding and return the next day. We were able to visit the shop and select the planters that we wanted and do a final run through of what plants were in season. She also helped us with plans on how to transition ceremony items into the reception space, so that we got the most out of our materials. What really sold us was how responsive and detail oriented the team was. As a Type A bride, I was blown away by the speed and accuracy of the quotes we got and the level of communication. Our ultimate goal was being free to enjoy our wedding and leave the details of the day in trusted hands--and boy did she over-deliver. Britta was prompt and professional in all communications and incredibly receptive to our vision. In our pre-wedding discussions she anticipated all of our concerns and assuaged them with remarkable competence. She organized a meeting at the venue to review our plans and made numerous valuable suggestions for how we could best utilize our space and our time. To ensure a smooth ceremony she facilitated a walk-through with our entire wedding party and key guests and gave all of us (including a first time officiant) the tools and confidence to pull off the ceremony of our dreams. Day of there was little for us to do aside from get married, she took care of every detail and we felt no need to do anything but enjoy the ride. Britta was the first to arrive and coordinated setup and instructions for all our other vendors. At every step she was there orchestrating the ceremony and reception while maintaining her bubbly and affable demeanor. Even in our moment of "crisis" when my wife tripped and scuffed her dress, Britta was there with her emergency kit and made it look like nothing had happened. When our dream wedding was done, she was the last to leave and made sure every vendor was taken care of and packaged and delivered all our keepsakes. The day of the wedding, she was the coolest & calmest presence you could hope for -- all while putting out a million fires that we never had to hear about. When she did need our instruction or approval for something, her questions never felt invasive or stressful. She was somehow on top of everything going on for all the different aspects of the day, without breaking a sweat. We felt so stress-free knowing that if anything came up, Britta could handle it. She also came prepared with an emergency kit, which came in handy for some of our guests with wardrobe malfunctions! Britta was so obviously fantastic at her job that several of our family members commented during the day & afterwards about how great she was, and how they wished they'd had her for their weddings. If you're looking for a day of coordinator, there's truly no one better than Britta!
