I needed to have flowers delivered to someone, as I live out of town. I looked all over and this place had the most up to date, modern arrangements. I emailed a question and got a prompt reply. It was easy to order online. The pricing was very similar to other florists in the area. It was delivered when it was supposed to be. The only thing was that I got an email that it was out for delivery and another email that it had been delivered, both hours after it was out and delivered. And I got them at the same exact time! I thought that was strange. I actually heard from the person that I bought them for that they were delivered hours before I got the email. I would use them again because I really like their arrangement selection. I would just not expect to get accurate delivery notifications. read more

My husband told me not to write this review but im so upset and annoyed that I feel like I need to write it in order to warn others and im so surprised by all of the 5 star reviews. He ordered flowers here because we just moved to Tacoma and usually get flowers from florists in Lynnwood/Bellevue/Seattle, he googled best florists in Tacoma and decided on this place. The red bouquets is what he thought he was paying for but the pink flowers is what I received. Its fine if they were out of red flowers, but it should at least look somewhat like the photos. He paid $80+$15 delivery for these (Applepay bypassed the $15 shipping so later they sent him an invoice for $15 which i thought was unprofessional but he didnt mind so whatever). When I saw the bouquet I was so upset. I think they dont even look similar to the photos on the website. I facetimed my friends and made them guess the price of the bouquet, they all guessed $40 but when i told them it was $95 after delivery they gasped and said he got scammed. One friend even said it looks like the Temu version of the online listing. These were so ugly that I am too embarrassed to post them on my social media. It doesnt look like Valentines day flowers at all, it looks like flowers you would give to your paternal grandmother who relentlessly bullied your mom. Maybe they were just too busy for Valentines Day but in that case it would have been better to just not accept the order at all especially if they cant deliver quality work. UPDATE 02/24/2025: Owner response to my Google review has 0 accountability. We never get flowers from grocery store, I always use a florist that is the same price or more expensive than Flora but has far higher quality flowers than what i received. You are blaming my husbands response time instead of acknowledging your poor quality product. I even said its fine if you were out of red roses, but why did my flowers look like they were wilting and leftover? Also I didnt mention previously, but Flora used dog waste bags for the bouquet water (i will post a photo). I know its dog waste bag because I use the same ones for my dog. That is not professional or romantic at all. Also who uses black tissue for Valentines day bouquet? Thats just depressing. Also, I saw another one of my friends got a Flora bouquet the same day as me and they were also unhappy with their flowers and felt like they too got leftover flowers. That friend picked up his order and was upset that it wasnt what he had expected but was too annoyed to argue so he just accepted the flowers. If you are in Tacoma, my review remains the same - but now its worse because the owner has 0 sense of accountability. read more

I don't live in the area and wanted to send a sympathy easel for a dear friend's family member's funeral. Found Flora Tacoma via Yelp and Instagram. She only had a couple of pictures of her sympathy easels on her website but I loved her aesthetic for all of her other florals. So glad I went with Cynthia. Her communication was top notch. She replied to my after hours email very quickly and confirmed my order quickly and also she kindly sent me a photo of the arrangement since I couldn't be there. I only wish Cynthia had another location near me as I would absolutely order from her again. The arrangement was stunning and price was totally fair (I've seen some not so nice looking ones selling for that price or even more!). Attached a photo because it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She used very nice quality flowers and didn't use any cheap fillers. I want to start this review by saying that I think this is a small business and I by all means see such value in supporting local - the lady I was in contact was sweet and that's why I'm giving 3 stars. Communication is awful. Similar to a previous review I had that experience as well. I ordered a bouquet on 6/4 to be delivered on 6/9 in Tacoma with free delivery. I got this bouquet for my sisters birthday because I'm not currently in Tacoma. There is no time window on the confirmation so I was trusting that they would deliver it on the date I confirmed. 3 pm on 6/9 and my sister still hasn't received it, so I call a couple times before they close at 5 pm and nobody picks up the phone. So I'm like what the heck. I end up having to tell my sister I'm sorry and ruined the surprise. I email her and she then calls me after 5 pm and says a long story about one of her drivers couldn't make it and the other driver had to pick up her grandma or something in Seattle and it's pouring rain and if she doesn't recognize a number calling she assumes it's spam and doesn't answer...I then ask for an ETA as it was around 6 pm. She said she didn't know and would call me back. So I tell my sister to be on the lookout which is totally not as fun and the lady calls me and says they have 2 more stops and then they'll be there before 8 pm. I'm trying to have grace here because I'm assuming other people might have been frustrated too yesterday and this could have been a one off situation as I see many happy customers (which is why I purchased from here to begin with) but this is peoples memories you're playing with. You need better and reliable drivers and someone who's picking up the phone and communicating. Also...this bouquet looks nothing like the photo online. She said she would "make it look very nice for the inconvenience" but honestly it's not anything I wanted and I won't be returning. read more

Pictures of the flowers and website design is amazing. However communication is terrible. Still waiting on a call back from Cynthia about a Orchid Lei I inquired for a funeral about a month ago. The funeral came and went with no call back. Would have been understandable if it wasn't possible to fulfill my order since it's off season in tacoma Washington for Lei orders and orchids but the lack of professionalism is not.
