Having never contacted a Puyallup florist, I decided it was time to shop locally. I found the company on a Google Search and was pleased to find it wasn't very far from where I live! I needed some roses for my sister since she had just had surgery, so I described what I wanted: Yellow roses. The folks at Ladybug went out of their way to get the yellow roses, and I was overwhelmed by the arrangement when it arrived. While they had so many beautiful options, I'm glad I chose the yellow roses; they are my sister's favorite. The other flowers in the arrangement complemented the roses perfects. I know my sister will love it. I was also surprised at how reasonable the price was. Far less than I expected. After reading reviews, I thought for sure this was the place to order flowers. I was wrong. Besides being extremely over priced for what was sent to my friend. I was sent a picture of them and wasn't at ALL what i asked for. I wanted bright and cheerful!!!! I was charged a lot for delievey as well, concidering I was called 3 times to be told the address I gave them was wrong. I cannot control how your delivery driver puts things in GSP, but to get snippy and snarky with me on the phone isnt acceptable. Absolutely floored with how gorgeous and perfect the flowers were. It was like she read my mind. The owner was professional and clear in all of our communications, being forthright regarding availability of specific flowers and sending me a photo of the arrangement to make sure it worked. I couldn't have designed a better arrangement for my friend if I had tried for days. I couldn't be with my friend during her grief and this bouquet felt lavish and personalized in a way my friend still felt my love for her. I know that sounds cheesy, but it truly was perfect and beyond my wildest expectations. My kids ordered an $80 arrangement with a $15 dollar box of candy to be delivered to me for Mother's Day. The flower arrangement was nothing near as full as The Lady Bug advertisement depicted and the $15 dollar box of candy was 6 pieces of candy in a box that measured 4.5" x 3.5". My kids spent over $100 and they got ripped off! Seems like The Lady Bug took advantage of an out of state shopper so I do not recommend this florist! read more

It's hard to put into words just how amazing the flowers I received from this company were. Marilee is an amazing person, and magical artist with flowers. I met with her privately and discussed our needs for the funeral we were planning. We looked at some pictures and I described (...and, not very well I might add) who my mother was and the kinds of colors she liked. Marilee told me about her time as a florist and showed me some of her work, and in those moments I knew she would not let me down. I've never planned a funeral service before, let alone picked out flowers for a funeral... Marilee knew I was struggling and she helped me feel comfortable in what I was picking to honor my mothers life. I gave her a few ideas of what we wanted and she took it and ran with it! The flowers she put together were breathtaking. The church staff immediately told me what a WONDERFUL florist I had they wanted to know her name and how I had found her, they told me she was at the church BEFORE they were and she loaded those flowers in and set them up in the blink of an eye. She was kind, respectful, punctual and her work was INCREDIBLE. The flowers.. oh it's hard to explain, they brought tears to our eyes. The little touches like adding an angel to one piece that was my mother's, to represent who she was .. and little miniature lady bugs on each piece to add her signature to them made these flowers perfect in every way. The compliments we received were epic, people were amazed at the beauty of the pieces she designed. Her prices were also phenomenal, she is so fairly priced you cannot go wrong to work with Marilee. I have always been happy with floral arrangements from The Lady Bug, but I just had such a wonderful personal experience with them that I wanted to share it with others. My hubby is in the stroke rehab unit at Good Sam. I ordered flowers to try to make our Valentine's Day as special as possible under the circumstances. The flowers apparently got delivered, but it was past the time that volunteers were at the front desk and they never made it to his room. (My guess is that someone visiting the hospital took them from the front desk...) I emailed the shop, not expecting a response until the next day as it was after hours, so I was surprised when the owner called me after 9pm offering to stay and make another arrangement and take it there herself. I know she had to be exhausted as VDay is one of the busiest days of the year for a florist, so I assured her the next day would be fine. She even offered to throw in a large box of chocolate, which was not at all necessary but highly appreciated! Most important to me, though, was her absolute kindness on the phone. She was very sincere about expressing concern for my husband and said that she was sending prayers along with the flowers! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and they will continue to be my florist of choice! read more

VERY disappointing. Unfortunately I went with this florist, based soley on the yelp reviews. Big mistake! I ordered the Tutti Fruitti and what was delivered wasn't even close and in my opinion, was far inferior. The flowers were in a brightly colored watering can and the arrangement looked thrown together. I can honestly say I was embarrassed to see that there was a picture of them posted on FB by the recipient. I would love to include a picture of what was ordered/expected and what was delivered so that you can judge for yourselves, but unfortunately I don't see that option. read more

I needed a florist for bridal bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding (I was doing the centerpieces myself, but wasn't about to attempt to make a boutonniere) - this business was recommended by a friend of a friend. Marilee was so sweet - she really listened and we spent about an hour talking and looking at the styles I envisioned (white flowers with pops of coral and succulents). I wanted the Pinterest-popular brooches in my bouquet with some heirloom pieces from my family. She took the brooches and even put them IN the flowers, which I hadn't even considered! It was so cute!
