The most unflappable human in the Seattle wedding industry…read moreI've been a wedding photographer for 13 years. I've worked with a lot of planners. BreeAnn at Pink Blossom Events is genuinely in a category of her own. I first met her in 2014 and we've partnered on countless weddings since -- several of which have been published, including a recent feature in Washington Wedding Day magazine. She's been a Seattle wedding planner since 2006 and she knows absolutely everyone in this industry. That experience and those relationships show up in real ways for her clients. But here's what I really want you to know: she is unflappable. Like, legitimately. Things can go sideways on a wedding day -- and sometimes they do -- and BreeAnn calmly puts it all back together before anyone even notices something happened. That skill is rare. It is such a gift. Every time one of my couples tells me they've hired Pink Blossom Events, I exhale. Their wedding is going to be well-managed, the details are handled, and they actually get to enjoy their day instead of stressing through it. Highest possible recommendation. Book her. -- Becca Jones, B. Jones Photography

They are extremely professional and well organized, my husband and I attended a birthday party this month and we were amazed to see, the detailed work they have done in their decoration. We really love the photobooth and seating area, which was so impeccable and really cute, also, they focused on each little thing, like the separate fun area and games for the children. The food was so delicious and presented perfectly, they kept something for every age to keep them engaged yet maintained the privacy for each and every different group, this was the best birthday event I have ever attended. They also MCed games for us at the shower and all our guests had a lot of fun with their engaging game ideas. Super creative folks, I highly recommend them. I'd definitely hire them for more events!

When my fiancé (now wife) told me she wanted to get a coordinator, I thought we didn't need one…read more She insisted, and we ended up going with Kyro at Good Friend Events. After the wedding, I now think this was the best money we ever spent. Throughout the day, they made sure everything was taken care of perfectly. They told me when and where to go to keep everything moving on time, they coordinated all the setup, and made sure I didn't accidentally run into my fiancé before the ceremony. After the ceremony they were kind and smart enough to set aside some appetizers for my wife and I to enjoy in our room while we took a quick breather. We were too busy with pictures to have enjoyed them otherwise. They let us know when it was time to go down for dinner, which we had opted to do outside. We had some bad luck, and it was very hot and sunny - so much so that we decided we needed to move the dinner inside, and Kyro and her team got it all sorted in minutes. Our venue had very strict rules where we would be charged steep fines if everyone (including cleanup) wasn't out by a certain time, and she and her team made sure that everything went to plan. They packed our cars with everything we had brought, making sure we didn't forget a thing. We could not have made it through without the help of Kyro and her team. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jacky planned my wedding in May 2011, and I could not have been happier with how things turned out!…read moreShe was fantastic to work with, and every detail was taken care of beautifully. I was an extremely busy and stressed out first year law student during the planning process, and Jacky was wonderful at taking care of things that I just didn't have time to be involved with. The day itself was flawless, and I could rest easy and enjoy myself knowing Jacky had everything under control. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Jacky!!!

I could not have had such a wonderful wedding without Jacky & Event Success!…read more I am no stranger to planning parties and events. I certainly thought I could plan my own wedding and have it all come together. What I didn't realize is that I WAS THE BRIDE, I could not keep and eye on anything, be involved in set up, scheduling, late vendors etc. This I did not come to terms with until 2 weeks till my big day, yikes!!! Step in Jacky! Jacky & Event Success came on board late in the game but you would have never known that. Once I hired her she was on top of everything, every little thing that for some reason I had not even thought about! Our wedding was an " all hands on deck" event. My vendors were people I have worked with in the past, my catering was my friend who is a Chef, etc. Jacky immediately contacted all involved and set up a game plan. I was so relieved! I had just not been able to wrap my head around the big picture, timing, set up all the things that a bride doesn't want to worry about. As soon as I hired Jacky I started to relax a little and enjoy this wonderful time. My mom was super excited too, I believe she is now Jacky's #1 fan. Jacky is super personable and very professional. She took charge at our rehearsal and it was maybe the shortest and most efficiant rehearsal ever. The day of the wedding she showed up early @ our getting ready site to make sure things/people were doing well. When we got to the ceremony/reception site she was already there, plugging away, working her magic. When we were done w/ formal photos and before the ceremony started my mom & dad noticed how dirty my train on my dress got, it was BAD!!! My parents were very nervous about this, we thought last resort we would just bustle my dress ahead of time but nope, HERE COMES JACKY TO SAVE THE DAY!!! Within 5 minutes my dressed looked like new, all nerves were calmed, all was well! It was the little things like that that make Event Success & Jacky amazing! She is worth every penny. I thouroughly got to enjoy my day and oh was it amazing. I felt so relieved just knowing that if anything were to happen, I wouldn't even have to know, JACKY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT! And that is what her company is all about. I love her, my family loved her, the wedding party loved her and how could you not! BEST WEDDING DECISION EVER MADE!

I hired Xina Events to help me with a winter wonderland party in my home in January…read more I'd recently had a kitchen fire, so it was extra challenging to get the food out. Christina very patiently baked my appetizers in my convection toaster oven and worked around the fact my refrigerator was in the dining room not in the kitchen where it should be. She whipped up two very tasty pitchers of bourbon drinks and checked on my guests frequently to see if they wanted more beverages or snacks. Christina was incredibly organized, had great ideas for party flow and ways to make food and beverage presentation prettier. She was punctual, brought lovely serving dishes I could borrow for the party, helped with last minute furniture arranging and decor, and delighted my guests with her hostess skills. It was so nice to have an extra set of hands to take coats, greet guests, and refill trays on the table. I didn't need a full caterer, just another hostess. And how awesome was it to have help with cleanup at the end of the evening? I will definitely hire Xina Events again for my parties this year!

Unfortunately, this winery just wasn't for us…read more The first thing I said when we walked in was, "It feels way too corporate in here," and the experience from there pretty much confirmed that first impression. We were greeted by a somewhat responsive human who immediately needed our first name, last name, and email address before we could even get settled. At one point I was thinking, "I'm sorry, should we have scanned a QR code and filled out an application before entering?" After waiting a few minutes, we were finally seated, but the service didn't get much warmer. Our server barely made eye contact with us, and overall the staff just seemed uninterested in engaging with their guests. Ironically, the only time we really saw employees smiling was when they were talking to each other. Maybe this atmosphere works for some people, but when I visit a winery, I'm looking for something welcoming, personable, and enjoyable. This felt more like a transaction than an experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning or recommending it. Mark Ryan Nextdoor was way more pleasant!
