Had to fix the usb ports, the driver side mirror light was cracked and not working. the windshield was cracked and the leather seats in the back were stained with something along with the front cup holders covered in what I can only assume was soda even after being told it was cleaned. read more

Never go to pollard! Their salesmen are pushy and try to pressure you into a decision. They told me I had the weekend with my truck to see if I liked it, then made me return it sooner than expected and expected a decision right there and then. Their service check was terrible, i had to replace brakes right after I bought my truck and I took it to my mechanic later and there was water instead of antifreeze, no had been under my hood since I bought it so I'm not sure why there was even water in there or how that wasn't caught by pollard. read more

Poor service, particularly from a popular Lubbock dealership! The salesman was fine, but we had mechanical issues, so I decided to drive it over to the dealership to get serviced, as you're supposed to walk up to the dealership service area and the guy comes out to greet you automatically. He looks like, "Why is this guy here?" He shouldn't be here, and when I tell him that I bought the car here and that I'm having some problems and would like to speak with someone about it, he says you can talk to this guy. I'm assuming he was the service manager proceed to tell him I don't know if it's a recall of the issue that we had he says well I never heard of any recall and just was real rude and told me that it would were six weeks out anyway so basically like struggling me off like he didn't want to help I you will never go back to them I did call, and a nice young man named Zack helped me because we had a warranty on the vehicle, but he said I didn't even have to get it repaired there and could go anywhere. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, even though he told me they were six weeks. I'm not sure if it's because of my skin color or because I'm a big person, but he didn't want to help me. read more

Pollard was such a great place to shop for a new truck! We've always been customers of Sewell in Odessa and they just did us completely wrong. Pollard definitely helped us look for the vehicle we wanted and we came out with such a great deal. I wish I could leave negative stars. when buying a used vehicle from a dealership there should be some sort of trust that the vehicle you're buying isn't completely destroyed. I can understand maybe changing the oil, or the unfortunate big issue that needs to be fixed. I bought a 2020 Raptor, 2 days into having it I notice it's leaking gear oil. got it on the ramps and realized my entire front differential is blown and the pistons inside were grounded down to nothing. Take it to a front end shop to find out not only is it my front differential, but also my rear differential needs to be replaced. Called the dealership and was treated HORRIBLY by whomever I spoke with. Then got a hold of my sales associate to be told there's nothing they can do about it because the deal is done. So, if you're looking for a reliable used vehicle please save yourself the headache and the nearly $6k it costs to rebuild your front and rear differential and go to Gene Messer or literally anyone else. I obviously did not blow both differentials by driving my kids to and from school for two days. Weather or not they knew the issues the truck had it blows me away that they weren't willing to help in any way, even with a discount to help fix the truck so I could at least drive it around town. -10/10 would never recommend to a friend. read more

I'll admit to being a hasty buyer; but I assumed (for some reason) that a large dealer would have some standards. I was very wrong I completed the initial deal under the impression they added a warranty. They had me re-sign for a slightly smaller price a few days later, and I get an "Oh yeah, no more warranty now" as I leave. That same day the car stops accelerating, and will barely drive. When I tried contacting the salesman about the issue, I got laughed at. So far I'm out $1,600 and now the car needs the catalytic converters replaced; quoted at $2400. They burned me good. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Pollard Ford. This company is only in it for the gross profit. I recently bought my first brand new vehicle from them. A 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. I've had nothing but mechanical issues since the first week of ownership. I reached out several times complaining about the issues. I didn't buy a new car for it to leave me stranded 4 times, dashboard popping up, touch screen freezing up and now completely out, drivers side door has a gap that when closed your fingers can fit through. It leaks water when it rains or when you take it to a car wash. I dropped it off at Pollard Ford they had it about two weeks and was returned the mechanic found nothing wrong. So I filed complaints with Ford Motors, Ford Credit and Texas DMV. The reason I filed a complaint with Texas DMV is Pollard Ford falsified my credit application information and lied about my gross income amount and mortgage payment amount. When I confronted the finance department in person I recorded the conversation. The guy said he didn't know how that happened and couldn't believe it. I said well I have the paperwork that proves it. He said that happened over there and pointed at the Used Car Sales Office. When I left that day I emailed the GM - Jase Foster and asked why they falsified my information. I didn't get a reply from him. Then I called and texted the salesman John C. asking the same questions and received no response. Finally Texas DMV calls Pollard Ford and that's when I got a call back to meet the GM - Hadly Weaver. Once I arrived I was told by him. It was all just a misunderstanding. They wasn't trying to commit fraud. He said they thought you made that weekly. I said that still wouldn't be correct. Of course he was trying to cover up the falsified information. I said in six days my income increased $48k and my mortgage payment was $800 less than what I actually pay. The GM- Hadly Weaver said it didn't matter the amount my GROSS INCOME was or that I even had a MORTGAGE. It only goes off credit. Talk about total BS.. I get you have to have credit but credit alone doesn't qualify you for a car. You have to have the income to support your purchase. You can't get a mortgage for a house off credit alone. You have to have verified income. So they falsified income/mortgage to Ford Credit to get me approved for this 2023 Bronco Sport. I've reached out several times these last couple of weeks and haven't had one returned call from either GM.. Of course I was told by The GM - Hadly Weaver that the head GM- Jase Foster will not return anyone's calls! I have met Hadley Weaver and tried to resolve this issue and to try and get out of this Bronco Sport and haven't had any luck. So the day I did find another vehicle to trade. I reached out to the salesman. John C. said okay let's make it happen. He said I had to fill out another credit application so I did. Than he ran my credit and said okay you can get the mustang but we are not trading out the bronco. I said John I wouldn't have had you run my credit had you been upfront. He said sorry brother.. Sorry won't fix a hard credit inquiry on my credit report. I don't need 2 car payments. I said John C. what's it going to take to get out of this Bronco. He replied $10k. I said John this is total BS. I didn't buy a new car to have issues that's why I purchased a brand new vehicle. He said well don't be mad at me. Pollard Ford isn't responsible for it. I said yes they are!! Well I'm going on 4 months and nothing resolved. I'm still calling and complaining to Ford Motors, Ford Credit and Texas DMV. I would call Pollard Ford but they don't care!! I have countless emails/calls to Jase Foster and phone calls to Hadly Weaver that prove it! It's been proven by the lack of customer support and trying to resolve the issue.. I'm to the point of just surrendering the Bronco. But I don't want to ruin my credit. I've tried trading it in at other dealerships but my negative equity is to high to make it happen. I am very unhappy with my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara purchase made your dealership. Today 4/29 marks the final straw for me on this vehicle. I experienced the 'death jeep wobble' the steering of the vehicle steering to the right on the highway. I had a dangerous situation on interstate 20 while driving the jeep stalled on me causing the RPM and MPH to drop in pressure and the steering column locked and I was barely able to pull over. I hope you understand how furious I am at this point not only with this jeep but with your poor customer service at Pollard Ford. This will be the third inconvenience the dealership has caused with the second one having to return the first Jeep that was branded as a lemon. I took the jeep to my mechanic, his name is David and he works for Carillos Automotive here in Midland. He performed a used vehicle inspection that your facility failed to perform. During his inspection he found some of the following issues: * Poor tires/feathering due to suspension, new needed. * Shocks need replacements due to leakage from pistons. * Brakes need replacement have about a 20-25% of life left. * Wheel alignment needed. * Diagnostic engine results: Sensor Code PZ 330/ Sensor 2 Circuit (possible reason for stalling on the highway) P033A OBD-II: Knock Sensor 4 Circuit The knock sensor tells the engine control module (PCM) that the engine has an excessive vibration resulting from an incorrect fuel and air mixture. As you can see due to these results I can only determine that your mechanic did not do a full inspection or did not inspect and repair at all. I will be without transportation now during repairs so accommodations for transportation would be greatly appreciated. I have contacted my lender to hold further processing on the funding of this vehicle until this vehicle is in top running condition. I expect Pollard Ford to make this right for me. read more

On January 19th of this year my wife and I signed ALL paperwork for a used car at Pollard Ford finance, our financing was through a third party finance  company.  We are extremely disappointed in our experience, and we feel the need to make all we can aware of our experience, as we are sure we are not the only victims.   A part of the deal was a small repair to be taken  care of in their body shop. I stated we made the deal and signed ALL paperwork on the 19th.  We were asked to leave our trade that day and it would be just a couple of days and our car would be ready. We got a call on the 27th (our car still not ready for us to pick up) that we need to come by their office and RESIGN a couple pages of paperwork.  We wondered aloud on the way why we would need to RESIGN paperwork.  When we arrived we were met at the customer service desk, no office to sit down and talk about what we were doing, just a hurry and sign here situation.  Three documents were laid out in front of us and asked us to make sure our names were correct for the title and sign here, no big deal.  I noticed a yellow sticky note in the center of the Application for Texas Title.  When I removed the sticky note I noticed the numbers we had agreed to in the signed contract on the 19th had changed, this document showed the price for the car we were purchasing had been changed, it was $1000 over the price we agreed on and signed a contract for.  Apparently the dealer funding request from our finance company indicated there was more money available than the agreed to in our contract so POLLARD FORD, WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT, CHANGED ALL THE PAPERWORK, OUR SIGNED AND DATED CONTRACTS, TO GET EVERYTHING THEY COULD FROM OUR FINANCE COMPANY.  THEN TRIED TO CONCEAL THIS FRAUD BY RUSHING US THR0UGH SIGNING DOCUMENTS WITH STICKY NOTES HIDING THE CONTENTS OF THE DOCUMENTS!!  And yes, I have the documents to prove this statement. When we called them out on this they actually tried to refund that amount they added to the contracts with EXTENDED WARRANTIES, UNBELIEVABLE!! I will absolutely never do business with Pollard Ford again and I would advise everybody to do the same.  There is no telling how many times they have actually gotten away with this scheme. read more

They sold me a Ford Fusion Hybrid that from day one had issues. The engine would continue to get an error of "Stop engine now" I took the car back 3 times and they could never fix it. Now that the warranty is up, they finally figured out the issue and want $2700 to repair. I'm not going to let them fix it. They suck as their jobs, and their technicians are idiots. If I could give them negative stars I would. We bought a used truck from them. Definitely cost a pretty penny, it's used so of course there are flaws. The driver side window was cracked which they agreed to replace and also said they would "detail" it bc it was filthy! Whomever owned it before us lived in the country so there was dirt all over the inside. We go to pick it up, the window is replaced but now it's the only one that isn't tinted, I would've thought they would've taken care of that guess not. The so called "detail" was the biggest joke! It looks like someone took an armor all wipe and half assed wiped it down. Anyone could've done a better job than this! They didn't even vacuum before they wiped over it with the wipe. I've bought used cars before and most companies do detail the vehicle for you. Shampooing your seats, carpets, vacuum, dust, clean windows and what not. Definitely not even close to what happened in the case of our vehicle. You'd think they'd want to do their customers right bc the point is to have people return or good word of mouth. I had my car towed here due to a massive oil leak from the tail pipes. I was told my car would be looked at soon in order to get the engine work done ASAP. After about a week I called them and they told me they finished the recalls, but they weren't able to find the problem so they'd hand it over to a different guy to have him figure out what's going on with it. (Why would you put it in the queue for recalls when there's oil shooting out of the tail pipes and leaking from under the car?) Well, two weeks into the repair job they tell me that there's a major problem with the car and they'll contact the warranty company. That's a whole other issue which leads to a month and a half of working with the warranty company and Pollard. In the end, I finally had approval to put in a new engine and exhaust components so long as I am able to pay nearly $3,000. I gave them the go ahead. Despite being told that everything was looking good to get the engine put into the car as soon as they received it and also being told they would not put us at the back of the line while the engine was on order; they moved our car out of the technicians bay so they could "keep busy". I'm also told I'll need to be patient while they finish with their current projects before they are able to move our car into position to start the repair work. I would've given more stars except the only reason I was kept in the loop was because I called for updates or they needed approval for more money, so I give one star. read more

I have not even made my 1st payment, and already have an estimated amount of about $1,000 in repairs. I even bought the extended warranty but of course the defect is not covered. I got a 2013 Ford Explorer and the catalayic convertor is out, any mechanic knows that these just don't go out. The funny thing is Pollard Used Car claims all the used cars are "Certified", before sold! So this issue would have been flagged. The customer service at the repair shop sucks and offer no help. All they want is money...Good luck to even try to get a hold of your salesperson and getting help. Mine claimed he was "working" on it to find out he never even called. I have done buy here, pay here dealership and had cars last a lot longer. read more

As a tech of over 10 years, I've seen a lot of serious accidents and injuries due to poor shop equipment and safety. Safety should always be put above profit for both the employees and customers. It has come to my attention that the exact opposite has happened here. A tech pleaded with management about an unsafe rack and nothing was done. The tech resorted to social media to show the issues in case something happened to him. He was fired for this. It's not just the techs safety, those are customer cars being put on unsafe racks. Sounds like OSHA needs to visit this place. read more

I'm glad that my first car buying experience was with pollard. As a college-aged girl that is pretty far from home and couldn't have her dad there to help her out with her first car purchase I was nervous car dealerships would try to take advantage of me like the experience I had before I went to pollard. As soon as I arrived at pollard they were friendly and weren't pushy at all. I came back the next day to test drive the car I told them I was interested in and after test driving they were very understanding and helped me better understand the car buying process and helped me get a safe and reliable car that I can use to go see my family within my budget. Their established presence in Lubbock gave them a lot more working room to help me out and I'm so grateful for how much they helped me today and put me at ease through the buying process. I'm definitely going back to them in the future and referring them to all my family and friends in the area that are looking for a car. A technician working for them warned them of a dangerous condition with a lift in their service department and was ignored for sometime until the lift broke and dropped a vehicle. Horrible business! Long story short, we bought a car from them in January. It left my pregnant wife stranded and when we reached out to them for help on repairs it was not their problem. Do not believe in their certified used cars. Our car battery was 5 years old and dead, key was never cut and when we left a review we got a sincere response on fixing the issue. Come to find out, it was only to fool the public. It's been a week and we have sent invoices several ways to try and resolve the issue. Unsafe environment. A former tech brought lift safety issues up to management. Management ignored him. When one of his lift arms broke he made a post about it on Facebook. Instead of management trying to correct the situation and make things right, they fired him. A company more focused on money than employee safety. My fiancé and I bought a car from pollard and they were so friendly and helpful and we had a great feeling about the purchase. They assured us they had done a thorough inspection of the car and nothing was wrong with it. A week later we are having problems with the car randomly dying. We took it in and they denied anything was wrong with it even though I told them the exact issue. A couple weeks later the car dying issue is getting worse. We take it in AGAIN this time they tell us that the fuel pump sensor needs to be replaced and even though we have a warranty we have a $100 deductible. That's annoying but it's fine. THEN they call back and say they have another problem with a fuel like and it will be another $100 because it's a DIFFERENT ISSUE. We say well fine we still need it done. Later the same day they call my fiancé and tell her the car needs all new brakes IMMEDIATELY but they would be happy to fix it for another $400 on top. They just so happened to find this issue while doing their 25 point inspection which begs the question WHY WAS THIS NOT CAUGHT WHEN THEY "INSPECTED" the car before we bought it. This whole business is a cluster of scam artist just trying to milk money. They are the stereo typical sleazy used car salesman you see in the movies to a "T". read more

Do not use. This is my best advice regarding this dealership and their service department. While traveling home from vacation, our car ceased to function so it was towed to Pollard after hours. First thing Saturday morning I began calling and was directed to leave messages with a service advisor. I left a second message and then one with a manager knowing that my timeframe was limited on a Saturday. On my fourth call, the person directing calls said she could not connect me with a person directly. I took Uber to the dealership only to learn that the people they had me leaving three messages for.......we're not even working that day. In the middle of purchasing my vehicle the finance manager comes into the lobby where I am sitting and behind to curse at berate the salesman I was working with. At this point another sales person comes over to us and escorts us out of the building where they then proceed to turn the lights off and lock the doors. Offering no apologies or explanation as to what was going on. The following business day I go back ( only because they had already run my credit where I was approved for financing) and deal directly with the manager where I am assured he will make things right and offered me two free oil changes. We took my vehicle up for one of its free oil changes and after being given the runaround for over an hour being told to talk to several different people they finally told us that there was no record of any free oil change! They are the least helpful and most ridiculous circus of people I've ever encountered at all costs AVOID DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

Unsafe work environment. This dealer fails to maintain shop equipment in the service center that can ultimately lead to tragedy. A technician was fired after he stood up to management for failure of a lift while a vehicle was on it. No actions were taken for years of the equipment needing maintenance and thus led to the failure of the lift. If you want your vehicles serviced PROPERLY by a certified technician and not get damaged any further, I suggest finding somewhere else. read more

I have serviced my truck here for the past two years and have had decent service for a Ford dealership. I called a week ago to make an appointment to turn in my F150 lease and was put on hold waiting for a "Finance Manager", after no one answered I hung up and tried back the next day. I was finally connected to some one who told me I did not need an appointment to turn my vehicle in. He said to show up and it would take minutes to sign all of the needed paperwork. I showed up today at 4pm and waited two hours to turn in a vehicle. I asked multiple times to see a "Finance Manager" and was told they were busy. Finally a random associate asked why I had been waiting so long and directed me to the "Finance Manager's" office which we found 4 associated sitting around and talking about weekend plans. Once in the office the "Finance Manager" acted like I had just broken up his frat party and made it obvious he was not happy to accept my lease vehicle. By the time I left I was ready to burn the dealership down. I worked for Sewell Lexus right out of college (a few years back) and it shocks me that places like Pollard Ford can stay in business. I will never come close to spending a dime at this dealership and will make it my personal goal to make sure non of my family or friends do business at this repulsive establishement. read more
