Sometimes you pass, sometimes you fail, but it should always be a lesson to be better. To the moral of this statement.... I was in the market for a newer car, since my current car was about 10 years old, and I felt I deserved an upgrade. I searched around and found a few SUV's that I liked and went on the main Gene Messer website, which paired me with a salesman at their toyota location and we got in touch via email and text. I looked over their inventory and did not see anything I liked but saw one at one of their Sister Dealerships and the salesman told me "If there is a car/truck we have that you want, I can get it." I believed him. So I asked him to try to get that vehicle and I would come in for a test drive. Since this convo happened late Saturday, he said he would call the Sister dealership on Monday morning and have them bring the truck over. Monday comes.....he says he is working on it, but tells me to just come on out anyways and it should be handled by the time I get there. I figured it could not hurt, since I was already in that area, so I go. He sits with me for a few minutes, we make small talk and he keeps trying to show me other vehicles. I turn those down. He proceeds to tell me everything that is bad about my trade in and then gives me a low ball offer. I was not even concerned about my trade in because I had a large down payment. But then tells me the truck I wanted already sold. OK. So I get my keys and leave. I head to another dealership, where they not only give me 2500 more on my trade in, but also found another of the truck wanted with no issue. That salesman did his job and called around until he found it for me. Insanely enough, the original truck I wanted DID NOT ACTUALLY SELL. I had a friend call the dealership where it was and they said they still had it, and asked if my friend wanted to come in for a test drive that day. Nice, so my original salesman lied to my face, clearly did not want to work that day, and basically lost about $80,000+ in sales. How is that you ask? Well, I was seeing how my personal transaction would go, and if I came out happy, I would buy a fleet of about 4 or 5 trucks and a van for my company. Nice one Gene Messer Toyota. So, looks like they failed this test, and lost a potential repeat customer.

I know because we have searched online and pretty much everywhere for a Bronco! If you're like us when you walk around most dealerships, you dread that salesman speed walking towards you because at that moment you're just there to look and not be hassled! At Hamsmith's dealership it was so different, the owner approached us like a next door neighbor inviting you to a barbecue! They do have sales guys but they all put out that same vibe!! Very chill!! We went looking for a used vehicle in good condition for my 16 yr old daughter that we could pay cash for. The used audi was priced at 21,770. Drove it, agreed on price, went inside to take my information to sign the deal and put the car under my name. Well he takes the information to the manager and he comes back with a paper that's over 2 thousand higher on sales price with added amounts, 400 for tint, 1500 for certified preowned, 1000 for all weather mats, and none of this is disclosed on the price to begin with, mind you this is a used vehicle that they want to charge you for all weather mats that originally came with the car? That is used! and they say it's certified but oh wait, the added price isn't added on the price it's listed for. But we get the( oh we are very transparent and itemize everything when making the sale We asked from the beginning if it has 2 key fobs, Jeronimo the salesman said yes, when we picked up the vehicle after the rushed so called car wash they did, it only had 1 key fob and when I called the next day because the fob didn't have the emergency key inside, all of a sudden they are either in a meeting or not in at the moment. Thank you Chris Diaz and Ryan LaRusso for kindly returning my call. Shitty dealership who says it discloses and itemizes everything but they don't. And then ghost you after you paid instead of creating a relationship on someone who would come back for other vehicles. Not a good look.

When I inquired about the Atlas, I spoke with Alicia. She was very kind and answered any questions I had. Communication was 10/10. When I got to the dealership, I met Michael who sold me the car. From the get-go, everything was seamless. There were no hassles and I did not feel pressured. Michael was great. He was very nice, answered any and all questions I had, never making me feel rushed. Even the financing process was excellent and hassle-free. My family was surprised. My dad, who has a lot of experience with dealerships, was impressed and had never witnessed such a pleasant dealing. Audi Lubbock has a way of "dancing" with the customer. In my experience with them, they were very fair and operated honestly. On our way to Lubbock, we noticed that our XC90's AC was not cooling properly. We looked up Volvo dealership in Lubbock and found James Mears Volvo. Their service team member, Mark, told great care of us. The dealership provided a video of the repairs needed and Mark call us to discuss. The parts were available and AC was repaired. After we picked up our XC90, we had some additional warning lights. We call Mark who called us right back after business hours and scheduled a time to return and address the issues. We were surprised that Mark called us back after hours. But he knew that we were trying to get back on the road the next day. What amazing service. We are used to working with DeMontrond Volvo dealership which takes great care of us. It was a relief that there are other reliable Volvo dealerships in Texas. Thank you Mark and James Mears Volvo!

About a year in a half ago a got a vehicle from them…read more Within a week of having that said vehicle I ended up paying $860 in repairs for some fuel issues with the car. Got it fixed no problem. Then more issues with the vehicle a year later happen. Started Overheating, Alternator went out. Come to find out the Serpentine Belt snap that goes to the Water pump and alternator. So i then contact them and explained that i was having issues with coming up with payment that i was working toward also getting the car fixed. Which currently to fix the Alternator and get the serpentine belt and repair it the cost is roughly around $850. I then explain i did not have it to give me roughly another week to try and get that. Then they want to give me the run around say call our service department and pay them a fee to see what wrong with the car. Why would I pay a Diagnose Fee when I already know what wrong with it. Then I get a Text Message today from Virginia asking if i want to process the payment. I explained that am still working to get payment and try to get the car fixed. She then decide to be Rude. If your looking to buy a Car your best bet is to go to someone that has it to where Banks are the ones that finance for you as banks will work with you. Tejas Motors won't. They do not care about there customers at all.
