The studio was clean and had plenty of paint. I have done several pieces here at the Kennewick store. I e been happy with how the employees do what they can for us to know what we need to do. It had been a while and I thought I remembered enough to paint without asking, well thank goodness someone was not familiar and I forgot a few things. The one gal even helped me try and find a tiny letter but we couldn't find it but she helped me solve the issue! I took a friend to lunch and to paint for her birthday. I planned what I was going to paint and did some research online for a product to paint. Sadly they didn't have the mug I wanted but they did have a pencil holder which the kids at school will get a kick out of. read more

I would have given way more stars if the woman working would have been helpful, or attentive. I've been back more than once and she is miserable every time. Smile, it's ok! Really! #miserableworkersruinbusinesses Update: Manager called me to talk about my review. Kind woman, really striving to make the business better. I will go back and recommend friends to do the same knowing they know the problem and are trying to work with it. Update #2: The miserable employee written about above has since been replaced by two more. We went to give it another try over Christmas 2018. My daughter spent her birthday money on a visit. They were out of many colors out, like red and green during Christmas time. Uuuh. They had to look through boxes to find us some. 20 minutes later we are painting. We chose an elf mug. My daughter was taking forever so we decided to come back the next day. Walking out of the store (still in the mall) her mug handle fell off. We went back in and the miserable employee told us "sorry, you took it out of the store the best we can do is give you half off another one." I went home and threw it in the trash. My favorite place to take my daughter and a friend every week. Friendly staff, big selection, fair prices. A hand painted gift is a great present anytime, especially around the holidays. Usually about $25 for a mug, less for smaller items, more for larger ones. Best bang for your buck for father daughter time. read more

The project I worked on here took me 4 visits to finish, but only 2 of the 4 staff I encountered seemed interested in customer service, or helping the customers at all. I understand there is a lot of back office stuff to do, but at least greet people as they walk in and ask if they need help at least once in their 4 hour stay. The selection of colors wasn't impressive, and the organization was a joke, but they were good quality and all filled up at least. Prices and the amount of space were great I have to say. But when I got my piece back after being fired, I saw some smudge marks on the paint that I know for a fact i didn't make (I took pictures of it before firing so it's not just in my head), and they wrap up your piece before you come to pick it up so you don't even know it's messed up until you get home and unwrap it. The two staff members that were interested in helping customers were great and very friendly, and I understand having more than one duty so 3 stars seems very fair to me. read more

I left this place very unhappy yesterday. I will not return nor will I ever recommend this place. They made a handicapped person have to walk down into the mall to use the restroom. I think this is atrocious. Are you seriously going to tell me a place with 1 employee on duty has no restroom? Any place where they have children's parties should have these services available !!!!!! read more

I took my 11 year old grandson last weekend and we each picked an item to paint. We were there a couple hours and enjoyed it. There were 2 young ladies working. They did not hover at our table but anytime we had any kind of question they were very friendly and helpful. One of them even took the time to show my grandson the whole process the pieces go through after getting painted. From dipping, glazing, firing and then where the set them up for pick up after they are done. She showed him (us) other pieces and took time to talk about all sorts of ideas that other people have done that turned out nice. I appreciated the time she took. It made it that much more enjoyable and we can't wait to pick up our pieces this week. read more

If there was an option to do no star, that's what I would have picked. We got there at 8:20, and it says online that it closes at 9. The lady working was rude from the get go, and closed out her til 40 minutes early and refused to open it back up for us. She said we could look around, but if we wanted to paint we would have to pay for it before we started. But she wouldn't let us pay because "she just closed her til". Such a bummer. It's such a cute shop but you can guarantee they will not be getting our business! read more
