I researched nail salons before we moved here a 1 1/2 ago. The first time I went to Polished, I fell in love all the girls there are talented and so good at what they do, cause they love what they do. People always stop me, to ask me where I get my nail art done, I'm constantly handing out business cards for Nhi! I get my brows waxed, my lash extensions, my pedicures, my nails, my spray tan, my girls nails (6 & 8 years old) all done here....it's a one stop shop for me It is clean, professional, and I love going there to relax and chit chat. Clean, friendly, and lots of gel colors to choose from. Krisheena is excellent with her craft and takes the extra time to treat my extremely thin nails with care and ease. This is the best nail salon I have found in the area, but a bit pricier than most. The value of the service and care that I receive here is my incentive to return. My sister and I went to Polished today to get a mani/pedi and when we were asked if we had an appointment they rolled their eyes when we told them no. The girl at the front then proceeded to answer 3 phone calls while 3 other girls just stared at us. She then told us that they could only do one service for one of us. In the future, I would have just made an appointment but because of the poor attitudes of the front desk workers, I won't be back. read more

I was loving my extensions until they started coming off and making my real eyelashes fall out. My eyes became very sore to the touch. I was told by an employee at Polished that they received a bad batch of eyelashes. After now having no eyelashes at all and looking like ET, I would never recommend anyone having these eyelash extensions applied. My girlfriend also experienced the same results. She no longer has any eyelashes of her own either! Traumatized is the best way to describe how we feel. read more

This was my first time visiting Polished; made an appointment. The information that was provided from the website made me excited about receiving a manicure and pedicure from this nail salon. So, I got there on time; even a little bit before. However, when I got there I was very disappointed. The salon was dirty and the person who was at the bar; stopped and checked me in and then that was it. I was not asked if this was my first time visiting, told to go pick out a nail color (which all of the colors looked old), offered a beverage, or to sit at someone's chair or pedicure station. In fact, I set there for several minutes and then someone came in and stated that she had just called for an appointment. She was immediately asked to sit at a manicurist's chair. Then a couple of minutes later I was asked if I had been helped. Then, after my response which was no, I was told it would be a few minutes and they would now start my water for the pedicure. This was the worst service that I had ever experienced. I am not for sure if it was because I was of a certain tan color. But, I strongly feel that Polished needs polishing to improve there customer service, selection of nail polish, and cleanliness. read more

It was my daughter's 18th birthday so I wanted to treat her to a really good pedicure. I'm very tired of the places around town that are run by people who rudely speak in another language while they are doing my pedicure. I had read good things about Polished so I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Not only did the employees not speak another language to each other that I couldn't understand, but they actively engaged us in conversation. I enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine while my feet were massaged and my toes painted nearly flawlessly. We will definitely make this our go-to pedicure salon. read more

Everyone there was nice except for the lady with the black hair, around 30's looking.. I think her name is Nhi that does Acrylics and I realized how rude she was towards the young girls at the front desk. I heard from a friend of mine that she talk really bad about the new owner and her daughter. I don't know about her clients but she continues to talk about bad things about other people too and has a really rude attitude. I had a mixed experience here. The Good: I was able to get an appointment for the next day easily. Service was great; and the salon was very clean. The ladies were using gloves while doing pedicures which I have not seen before, but it makes sense for both the client's protection and the person doing the pedicure. If a tool was dropped it was either replaced or cleaned immediately. Everyone was very pleasant. The Not So Good: I was using a gift certificate bought for me by my brother just over a year ago. I was told at the time of service that my gift card had expired, even though I didn't see any indication of an expiration date on there. Where the amount was written there was no indication of any expiration. In order to tell me if it was expired they actually had to run it through the front desk computer; they couldn't just look at the card and know (which leaves me to wonder how I, as a consumer, am supposed to know). Apparently there was a 1 year expiration on the card. Shortly after the card was purchased, I'm told, the business moved to a 2 year expiration on the cards. Upon finding out the gift card was expired I was offered today's services "for free", which totaled less than the amount on the gift card. For the difference I was told there was nothing that could be done. Now I appreciate that services were covered today without me asking. However, the gift card was purchased from this business, meaning they already have that money, so it is within their power to honor the full amount. I can understand if it was purchased from a 3rd party who reimburses them when it is used that they might not want to honor any of it, as they would truly be "out" the amount in that case. But this is money that was already paid directly to them. So, did they make an effort? Yes. Was it the appropriate effort? I don't think it was. I believe I should have been issued a gift card for the difference from the original gift card and price of the service today. They simply kept that difference. I like to think I am a reasonable person and if someone had shown me where the expiration date was indicated on the card then I would say yes it's absolutely my fault. But if it's not marked on there, you can't expect someone to know that. I hope that they are now writing expiration dates on the cards. The service was good, but the handling of this matter left a bit of a bad taste. read more

I called on June 13 2017 to make an appointment to have a simple fill done and i was thrilled to find out that i could get a same day appt. i explained to the girl that i was new to the area and was in a wedding and had used yelp for reviews she made my appt with the owner RAY was assured he was very good well as you can see by the the one star rating he is not i am writing this review on the 14 not even 24 hours later 3 out of 10 fingers are filed straight across and 6 out of the 10 are lifting, i called first thing this morning and explained my situation to another gentleman and was told that they would fix my nails or possibly refund my money he took my name and number and said he would call me within the hour after he speaks with the manager and still at 1230 three hours later i had to call them back was told that ray was the only one who could repair my nails well he is the one who messed them up so lets take option two and give nhi a shot well sorry she has no openings till july 1 yes that says JULY 1 so i asked if they could simplely just refund the 30.00 i had paid and was told no absoulty not i will not ever go back and no one i know will and i myself am a small busniess owner in the area i just think it was rude and unprofessional and wont be returning read more
