So, I was elated that my name was in the paper one week. I called and scheduled an appointment for a hair cut and the woman who answered was super nice on the phone. The drive was further than I had thought but it wasn't terrible. The business was located off the main road in the far back; I probably would have drove right by it if I didn't have my GPS on. So if you are going, pull into the Harmony post office and it's the building to the right. I had my reservations because it was little a hole in a wall place. I walked in and there were a lot of older women getting their hair done and the inside was cluttered and a bit dark (as in no natural lighting). My stylist was really nice. She rinsed my hair, and cut it to my specifications. I wanted something much shorter and different and she listened to me exactly. She didn't make a whole lot of chit chat with me, but that was okay. She blow dried my hair and I was done! Free hair cut with the blow dry included (other places I've went to charged for that, crazy!) I still gave her a tip though, because she did a great job and I didn't have to pay anything for the hair cut, it didn't seem natural! Also, she never formally asked me for ID proving my name, but I guess people wouldn't take advantage of the offer.. or maybe I just have a trusting face? Regardless, it was a great experience and I will more than likely go back. The only thing that may hold me back is the drive, but other than that it was a great business!
