I felt that it was a bit too cramped inside, no distancing as I was sitting side by side with a total stranger. The salon had a lot of customers when I walked in. My friend got a normal polish pedi and shellac mani. The pedi was good, no complaints. However the shellac mani was disappointing for both of us. I felt that the technicians cut off too much of the skin, immediately I felt the burn of alcohol on my skin. I understand not getting the polish on the skin or too close to the skin but viewing from above The sides of my nails were not painted properly. It looked quite bad. My friend felt the same and hers already chipped at the top of the nail after 2 days. All in all The technicians were very nice and it was good customer service but the experience was lack lustre.

The prices are average for the services provided, I typically pay about 60 with tip for a full bio gel set, sometimes I spring for a fancy design and only get charged a bit more. I almost never make appointments (not saying people should do this), but they always take me regardless. The people are sweet and treat you like a long time friend. The BEST thing about this salon though, is the insanely large selection of colours and unique polishes. Every time I see someone with a unique colour, they always say it's from here. I pick at my cuticles and fingers because of an anxiety disorder and I sort of just decided to try to take care of my nails in an attempt to stop. I let Karen know this and she was so, so nice about it. She made sure I was comfortable when trimming my cuticles and checked in with me a few times to make sure that she wasn't hurting my hands. They provided me with the colours that they had available and they quickly got to work. The removal was painless and easy.. I have had a bad experience where they filed my nails way tooo much and my nails looked a mess. That wasn't the case here thankfully! She did a great job fixing the shape of nails and reapplying the nail polish. Overall a positive experience. They gave you a tiny hand massage at the end.. a couple places I have been to are a little better in that department but whatever I wasn't coming in for a massage anyway. So now my figures look fab and the total came to 35 plus tax. 5 was for the removal of my previous shellac and then 30 for the shellac manicure. The pricing is pretty on par with other salons in the area. Ps.. it's been 2 weeks and my Shellac is in pretty mint condition.. typically it lasts a week and then I'm regretting having invested $ in my nails... but I have been impressed! Def. Coming back :)
