Caught a nail fungus from this place -- first time ever, after getting pedicures for decades in Montreal, Toronto, and New York City. I think most salons fake their UV sanitation (UV is expensive; they're either using weak light or fake light); and this salon didn't seem to have the most sanitary practices. Seats aren't comfortable, no massage options. Cannot recommend.

My friend and I decided to try out this place since it was fairly empty. We went in to get two full sets done. Both shellac and uv gel. The lady that I had gotten was not listening to what I had told her to do. I repeated myself numerous times that I wanted my nails long and in a ballerina shape. She kept saying no short nails are better and to keep them square. At this point I was fairly annoyed with the lady. Before she put the color on, I wanted to see if my nails were the shape I wanted. So again I told her to please fix this and she kept saying this shape looks better on your nails. She also kept murmuring so weird to my nails. Which was so disrespectful. I know my nail beds are not as long as others but that doesn't mean she should say they're weird. To anyone that is trying the get there nails done, I would not recommend this place. This place was nowhere near as good as I was led to believe…read more Smallest salon I've ever been to.. basically a little room with three pedicure chairs and two manicure desks. Everything was dingy and old. They also had a really small selection of shellac colours. Also I was the only person in there and they didn't even have the tv on so there was nothing to even look at for 45 minutes. The techs were also not any better than I've had at other salons. The man who prepped my nails was filing away at my skin several times and would tell me "No!" When I pulled my hand away or said ow. He also told me off for having my nails too short even though I always get them this short at every other salon. The rest of the time he talked on his phone. They switched off and the woman painted my nails. At that point the man went outside the door and started smoking so the whole place smelled like smoke. She did okay, but didn't get the shellac very close to my cuticles and it's kind of uneven around edge, and she didn't put any on my nail edge so I expect it'll chip pretty soon. And I paid $35 for the pleasure which is insane because I can get a better experience at other salons in Toronto for $20. They also don't have their prices listed anywhere so you have to ask, which seems questionable to me.

I've moved around a lot, so I've frequented salons in New York, L.A., and San Francisco...none as good as Tina. The pedicure I got was good overall but I feel like they didn't properly cut my nails like they normally do at other salons so I don't recommend it. 5. From my experience at multiple other nail salons, they have a towel on the foot rest when getting a pedicure but this place had Scott towels so it just didn't really help with the overall experience. 6. Friendly staff. Only reason I gave it a second star. Overall, my nails look good from far away but they are not worth getting broken nails over.
