We use them only for international…read moretravel as we feel they can obtain better results much quicker than we can with better cost efficiency! They use destination specialists for countless different countries! We've traveled to nearly 20 different countries in less than 7 years and typically have had few to NO issues with anything arranged through GoWay. Then most common issues we've experienced have been due to Mother Nature not cooperating on the specific days we had outdoor excursions booked. However, that's nothing that the travel agency could have controlled. Each specialist that has been assigned to us has always been well organized, thorough, knowledgeable, communicative and timely! Even if our assigned specialist is on sabbatical, we have always been temporarily assigned to someone else to cover any of our questions in the event of a random issue or accidental mishap. We, WITHOUT QUESTION, highly recommend this travel agency! Can't wait to plan our next vacation with them!!!

Went to check in for the morning flight to Phuket( was unable)!Called Go Way and explained our situation. At that time we ask them to check us in, which was 24 hours before our flight. Morning arrived and the local guide phoned our hotel to there was no flight. And asked us to go to the airport early. Once at the airport, we were notified that there was no flight to Phuket. at that point we were on our own. Local guide helped us get a van to Chiang Mai, which was a 3.5-4 hour ride on a road under construction.Once at Chiang Mai airport, each of us ran around, trying to find a flight to Phuket. After checking 3 airlines was able to find 3 flights to Phuket.Unfortunately the flight left 9 1/2 hours later. Nowhere to put our luggage, by this time we had already travelled for a month. So there we are in an airport holding onto our luggage. we finally boarded the flight to Phuket at 9:25pm.Arrival at 11:25 pm,travel by van to hotel . Arrived at the hotel 12 hours later than we were told.Lost a full day at the hotel. All expense and stress we experienced on a custom designed trip. Everything was to be taken care of by this company. This happened on December 10.2025. we have been waiting over six months. Finally received a refund for the cost of van to chiang Mai and flight to Phuket.Go Way offered us $144.00 for the stress and inconvenience of being stranded. Phuket, which was to be some R&R four weeks being away. Lost my day at the pool. I've reached out many times to customer service with no reply. Everyone always seems to be vacation I phoned customer service for the month of February. for the vice president, Marlaina Jankowski to please return my . My travel colleague was on the paper trail with emails to Jason Stratford in May. Apparently.this was forward customer service, where it has come to a stop once again. I have done a fair travel in the last number of years. I would never recommend this company,Go Way. I'm very embarrassed that it's a Canadian company. I am going forward with my complaint ladder, Better Business Bureau. I have prep documents of all the expenses and the original booking.

Luckily I had a few different emails from them: skedchange at flightnetwork.com and fnonline at flightnetwork.com. Also, on one of the emails, the agent identified themselves with a name, address in Canada and Canadian phone number. When I tried to re-book, I called multiple different numbers trying to avoid ones (if there were any) that connect me to the call center in India. One of the agents told me they can't help me with re-booking and that they'll have the sales department call me in 48-72 hours, sound familiar? On top of that, that timeframe would have ended up being the weekend so I gave up on getting my money back or a re-booked flight. They called me on Monday! The phone call felt different, it came from a Canadian number +1(647)956-0177, very little background noise (didn't feel like a busy Indian call-center although the agent clearly had an Indian accent and name). At first, I thought ok, I only have to pay ~$100 difference, that's normal but then he said after taxes and everything, it would be $700 for a re-booked flight... with my travel credit of ~$630 applied = over $1300 total for the flight. I checked the airline's website, a brand new ticket (without any travel credit applied) would have cost me $700. I started asking why that is and it doesn't make sense and that I don't wanna lose my money and that I really want to do business with Flight Network but my budget doesn't allow it. After 5 minutes of essentially trying to get the agent to sympathize with me but NOT BEING RUDE, he said Flight Network can't issue me a refund but they can ask the airline to issue me a refund. He said he needs to hang up and talk to the airline and will call me in the next 24 hours so I thought ok, that was it, he saw he can't scam me anymore so they're hanging up. He called me back within 1 HOUR, saying the airline will refund me 100%!!! Next, he wanted $30 handling fee which I thought was a low price to pay for getting my ticket money back (plus I can always dispute the payment on my credit card if it ends up being a scam). I received an official email for payment receipt and another confirming that they'll try to get a full refund. He gave me 6-8 weeks timeline to get the refund which I've heard is pretty standard... I got my full refund 2 days after that last phone call with Flight Network! I know it probably differs from most people's experience and I was the same but maybe the fact that I was trying to haggle with him in a RESPECTFUL manner (regardless whether they deserve it or not) that got me my refund. Here's another phone number that I had more luck with: 1.800.671.5032 ext 2866

Per Flight Network's refund policy, I am entitled to a refund once I provide medical proof of illness, and the duration is 6 days after receipt. But that's not what happened. Since providing my proof of illness in December, I have not received a single response from them. I have contacted them by phone many times, and the excuses have been almost verbatim, independent of the agent on the other side of the line. I am now convinced that they will not provide me with any refund. Their service fee is often 100% or more of the original ticket cost. They don't do right by their customers on refunds. Stay away!

Accommodations (with one exception) were great, and all had an included breakfast buffet. The tour's included activities (e.g. cooking class, pisco tour and tasting, potato park, boat tour of Isla Ballestas) were terrific. Appreciated the two included flights which saved a lot of driving time. Logistics were handled, and everything was smooth and easy (thanks to our CEO, Mary Chu!).

This wasn't the first time I felt ripped off by G Adventures but this recent trip was so unpleasant…read moreit not only made me never want to use G Adventures again but also never to return to the country (Madagascar). G Adventures charged thousands of dollars for the trip and put us in basic (trying not to use the word crappy) accommodations. The ITC lodge in Ranohira we stayed at had no running water but somehow the toilet still leaked, cockroaches everywhere including on our towels, which we were told specifically that we weren't allowed to kill. When I showed my friends/family picture of this "hotel" bathroom, they said it looked like a prison. None of the places we stayed at had reliable running water, electricity, or Wi-Fi. We were covered in mud/dirt (likely mixed dried animal feces I'm sure) every day and unable to shower more often than not. With the living standard in Madagascar, hotels are very, very cheap compared to the rest of the world. Even so G Adventures chose to put us in the most basic facilities that would not even qualify as a hostel in most other countries. Furthermore, this trip included very few activities and almost everything is optional, which means you have to pay out of pocket. If you choose not to do the optional activities, you're left with nothing to do except for staying at the crappy "hotels" so you really don't have a choice. During the 15 day trip, only three meals TOTAL were included. So G Adventures charged us a large amount of money but provided us with next to nothing regarding lodging, food, or activities. Where did the money go? They're just scalping basically. The trip felt like a scam. I contacted their customer service beforehand to see which level of footwear is recommended for hiking during this trip and also if I should bring my own snorkeling gear. She reassured me that sneakers would be fine and if I brought my own gear, I could participate in snorkeling without having to pay extra again. Neither were true. I ended up falling in the muddy, slippery jungle, and had to get assistance because we were walking on steep rock surfaces (the type you need a rope to climb down with), and was charged for snorkeling anyway. This was my first trip with them after taking their Turkey trip last year when they dropped the price literally a couple days after I paid in full, then told me they wouldn't give me the price difference even in travel credit because price could change anytime. They really care about every single penny they can squeeze out of you rather than customer service, satisfaction, and retention. I know they spent a lot of money on advertising to make it seem like a nice tour company. Beware - that's where the money you're paying going toward, NOT the actual trip you'll be taking.
