One of my steaks was slightly pink, and not fault of the cook it was just a thick piece of meat on that side compared to the rest of the steak, and they went and got me a fully cooked one, I was shocked because I didn't think they would be so accommodating. It was perfection, I love how everything looks home cooked and not out of a box. The Mexican lollipop shots were really good!! I would definitely tell you to try them especially if you want a shot that tastes like candy. The bathrooms were really clean. The restaurant is big and many different areas, it is a really good place for a big group. The bar has an area like a small stage for live music, hope they have bands soon. I really liked the food. I will be coming back.

We waited about 5 minutes then someone came out to take our order. The total for two specials that included a side and a can soda was $34. The space does have good seating and seemed clean. We waited an additional 35 minutes until the food came out to us. While waiting, patrons who got there after we did received their food. It was weird as the waitress/hostess kept walking by and telling us we were next. We ordered the brisket sandwich. The food was alright. It tased good but wasn't anything to write home to mom about. The fries were quick to get cold and limp. The brisket was super chunky and I'm not sure what red sauce was on the sandwich but it wasn't too bad. Overall, I might not go there again due to the slow service and based off the item I ordered. The waitress/hostess was nice though. Nothing against her at all. The wait time is what killed it for me. Hopefully you at least give them a try for yourself.

Drinks came out and we ordered. 1 French dip , salmon salad and crab cakes to split and bruschetta. Seemed like awhile and I asked about the bruschetta... it's coming but kitchen is backed up. A few minutes later the waitress came back to verify the French dip and salmon salad order. Again I asked for the bruschetta, coming ! Then a full 20 minutes after our order the ladies were informed that there's no more crab cakes ! Very disappointed they reordered fish and chips. Now not that long after out comes fish and chips and my wife's French dip , the salad is coming. So we wait ....looking for ice tea our waitress informed us they are brewing more then off to cleaning tables etc , wife's pretty much done , chips 1/2 gone and I decide the salad is a no go. I did finally get more ice tea, then hunting down our waitress she's on the way with a great looking salmon salad but I'm over it. Waitress tried her best but the kitchen was way out of sync ... food was pretty good but not excellent. Prices seemed high for what you got , waitress discounted our ticket ... no manager seen. Probably will not return.

In the past few months (March, May July 2023), I have eaten there 3 times. Each and every time the food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. You can't beat the prices. You'll love the simplicity of the basic meals that are consistently very good, down-to-earth home cooking. I don't understand the owner's talk of "dinner". They close at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. so I'm thinking they serve just breakfast and lunch only, unless they serve salmon and other common dinner entries on Friday and Saturday before closing at the posted hour of 2:00 p.m. I did send them a suggestion that they post the time that they stop serving breakfast, because it is quite a drive out to the airport and by the time you get seated, you are ready for a great breakfast. It's a heartbreaker to hear "Oh I'm sorry, we quite serving breakfast 20 minutes ago". Especially when your heard is set on pancakes and sausage! Made me cry. But I went ahead with a lunch, and it was very good.
