Second, technology has advanced communicating with a touch of a button, however, it has disadvantaged us like never before. PokeNerds kids nights, adult nights, and special events they host brings what the modern world has lost; community. Lastly, while a little store, but well stocked and cheaper than your big brand stores. Supporting PokeNerds as a small business and all their endeavors is why I am customer. It is a safe space for all likes of people. I have never had a bad experience at PokeNerds well besides an empty wallet. I have ordered several booster boxes, premium card collections and ETB's from PokeNerds in the past year after moving more than an hour away from my previous card shop. For me, PokeNerds online ordering (delivery or in store pickup) is super easy to navigate and they give rewards points which add up fast. I loved my previous card shop but the ease of placing an order online, picking up at the shop on my way home (and scouting their shelves) is one of the biggest quality of life improvements I've noticed over my former card shop. I can check my order status on their website or by the email or text confirmations I receive after I make the order and when it is available to pick up. They are always super friendly and host events with the community. Can't recommend this shop enough if you're looking for Pokemon trading cards (or all kinds of Pokemon collectibles really)! read more

I've made several purchases from this store both in person and online. They have prompt shipping and pickup options that make it convenient for me whatever I choose. They have a fantastic selection of booster packs, ETBs, and all the TCG supplies I could want. They also carry a wild selection of Pokemon related items like plushies, clothing, and home goods. It's a cute shop with a lot of activities they host for the kids. Love taking my kids for trade nights and events! I just wish the store was bigger!! I couldn't possibly say enough good things about this store. First of all, it's local, which reflects in the service there given that the employees always strike up conversation and genuinely seem like good people overall. Secondly, you couldn't find better prices anywhere, and I mean that. All of their products are cheaper than what you'd find at other stores or anywhere online. PokeNerds is a wonderful, unique local shop. While small, the product variety is great and it's always fun going in to see what's new. Their prices are competitive but actually cheaper than big box stores, especially the booster packs. While I have yet to attend an event, they hold many events, mostly geared toward children, but they do have an adult only trading night which I appreciate. The events themselves look fun and definitely add a sense of community which is hard to come by these days. Keep it up PokeNerds!! read more

My daughter and I go this store as much we can. We love trade night. We also just got to be evolved a card battle challenge. So fun. They have special events. Not to mention the biggest selection of different and unique pokemon collectible cards, booster packs, we love the Japanese cards, toys, plush. Fun store with impressive import selection. These people care about Pokémon and their community. You can see this by how they treat kids and families. I have no children myself and I can still see this. If they just cared about the money they would have nothing to do with kids. Some of the negative posts on this site are a little presumptuous. The prices are actually really competitive with other pokemon shops in the area so it makes it super easy to find what you're looking for. PokéNerds has been amazing. I've been purchasing ETB's of Paldaen Evolved and the whole purchasing and in-store experience has been amazing. The nice lady with glasses and dark hair at the front is always kind and helpful. I'm hoping to buy more in the future especially scarlet and violet 151 cards when they come back in stock. Our family loves this little shop! We live in Springfield, Missouri but we have family in Saint Louis. Every time we road trip over that way we make sure to stop in. Our family is made up of Poké nerds! If you love pokémon you have to stop in! There are plenty of rare items you won't find in most game stores. They get stuff in from Japan too! read more

My son loves to go weekly and browse their selection and buy items that he can actually see in person. When buying online often were left with items that weren't the same as the pictures shown. Great, convenient location. It's hard not to stop in to shop while running errands with the kids. I enjoy browsing the card selections while my kids love looking at the variety of Pokémon merch.
