The parking lot has several handicapped places right by the door. I admit to being a bit overwhelmed when I entered the store. There are multiple smaller rooms, including a special one for kids. The main room is alphabetized, although it still seemed like there is no rhyme or reason to the organization. I would have asked for help, but there were lots of people milling about. There were lots of shelves with the puzzles neatly displayed, so its easy to see whats available. I loved seeing all of the framed puzzles hanging, which made me eager to find one I wanted on one of my walls! They had on display a selection of accessories for rolling up a puzzle to move, right by the registers. I thought each puzzle was reasonably priced, good for gifting, hobbies, or hanging in your home! I even saw card games and books in the front as well. I have been purchasing puzzles from Puzzle Warehouse for a couple of years now, usually 3-4 puzzles of 1500 pieces per order and always had a great experience. Never a piece missing, always ordering brands I know I like (low dust), and the shipping is always quick. I have yet to have to interface with their customer service as I have never had any issues. I love their inventory and find their regular publishing of coupons a great way to wrangle up puzzles which I use to decompress. read more

This place rocks!! I have never been to a store completely dedicated to puzzles before but it was super awesome. As a puzzle lover, i was so amazed and impressed with the selection of puzzles and they seem to frequently have sales running - this time it was buy 2 get 1 free!! I saw so many different types of puzzles that i'd never seen before and really enjoyed looking at all the options and seeing the different designs. The woman at the counter was very friendly and accommodating, greeted us immediately and told us about the sales! They have everything organized really well which I appreciate and its easy to see all the different ones and find exactly what you're looking for! They have most things categorized by brand or piece count, my one complaint is that i wish they had as many options for 300-500 piece puzzles as they did for larger puzzles! (Most were 1000 pieces) They had multiple rooms full of puzzles and even had some board games and a clearance section! (I got a puzzle for $3 off on clearance just because the box was dented!) I've never been to this store in person. BUT I can say their service online is fantastic! I've placed several orders with Puzzle Warehouse (jigsaw puzzling is an addiction, for real), and my orders were always shipped super fast -- one time, an order shipped about two hours after placing it! They have a TON of brands and images to choose from. I recommend trying out Clementoni, Trefl, and Piatnik if you haven't yet. Their customer service team has always been responsive and helpful as well. One time, I received a Piatnik puzzle with at least 11 duplicate pieces. I sent the photos to Puzzle Warehouse, and they apologized and immediately shipped a replacement puzzle. Note that if you're missing pieces in your puzzle or if you have duplicate pieces, that's the fault of the puzzle manufacturer. Puzzle Warehouse is just a retailer (middle man/woman/entity, if you will) to help us customers more easily get our hands on puzzles. Anyway, I love PW. They're pretty darned awesome. read more

I walked around the store a solid 10 minutes before my presence was even acknowledged, though I will say when I approached an employee for assistance, they answered in a friendly manner. There were a ton of popular puzzle brands that were offered, and I thought it was cool that they had a sizeable discount / sale area for puzzles (I believe most were used or returned). While not a large section, they also did have an area for African-American based puzzles, but no other ethnic group was really offered. They did have sales for certain regular priced puzzles, and the puzzles are sorted well throughout the store (primarily by brand). All in all, I didn't find it to be worth a drive from out of town to visit, but I do wish we had a similar store in my city. read more

I've ordered many times online, and finally got to visit in person while visiting STL. Loved the store! It's nicer than I imagined it would be. The staff were knowledgeable and fun. Dogs are welcome (they even asked if they could offer a treat). This is important if you are visiting in the middle of the summer. You get to spend a lot more time in the store if you don't have to leave the car running for the dog. This is a mandatory stop if you love puzzles and are in St Louis. And if you're not, order online. They are great. I think that the bad reviews are centered around COVID orders, when all of a sudden everyone wanted puzzles and this may have taken them by surprise. read more

We already have to look and hear of division in our country everyday and now even when choosing our puzzles. I have placed several orders from Puzzle Warehouse and have generally been satisfied until one of the puzzles had pieces that were about half the size of most puzzles. When I contacted the company I learned that it could not be returned because I had opened the box. There was no way to know the size of the pieces without opening it. Additionally, their prices are very high - much higher than any retail store that sells puzzles. I will use my hard earned dollars elsewhere. read more

Puzzles and more puzzles! Around Christmas, we wanted to get the children something different so we drove here to check out the options. We had hoped to find something that will challenege their young minds! And we did. Also, we ended up with some for ourselves. This is a large warehouse. I'm talking shelves upon shelves of puzzles. 2D, 3D, crystal 3D, Harry Potter, LOTR, gaming and other themed puzzles... Whatever tickles your fancy! There are also some built and placed on the walls all over the warehouse. Very fascinating! There was one person working when we came in. She was very helpful and nic. The store is organized neatly, kept clean, and they even have a section for the puzzles on sale. A very neat place to visit for sure. So, if you are into puzzles you need to check this place out! If you like puzzles even a little bit, you will love this place! Truly an amazing selection of all shapes, sizes, and themes. We spent an hour in there just walking around and looking at all of the options. We ended up leaving with three puzzles, but could have easily walked away with more. Prices were average, not particularly cheap, and not overpriced. Puzzle Warehouse has the biggest collection of jigsaw puzzles I've ever seen. We were greeted warmly and turned loose to wander among the many many shelves filled with puzzles. They were arranged by 500 piece, 1,000 piece and 1,500 piece. There were puzzles with large pieces, round and 3-D puzzles and many different manufacturers to choose from. There was also an entire room devoted to children which contained a great variety of different selections for all age groups. WOW! We hadn't made/completed a jigsaw puzzle for years, not since our son was in first grade and he and I completed a puzzle of Machu Pichu. Recently a co-worker laid out puzzles, and encourage us all to add "one piece a day" to get us to look at problems differently, and as a team. Initially I wasn't sure what to think about puzzles in the office then I started adding pieces and then I couldn't stop adding pieces. : ) I soon remembered seeing Puzzle Warehouse on drives along I-44 and went to their website and found several interesting ones. This past Sunday our daughter and I visited and were soooooo impressed. The variety of jigsaw puzzles is quite varied, from art to photos to places around the world. They have "flat puzzles" and they have 3D puzzles of buildings and Harry Potter's steam train. And they have other puzzles... "physical logic puzzles" (my term) like the ones you find at Cracker Barrell... and the ones here are impressive and challenging. And they have sheets to encourage you how to think to complete them, without giving away the answer. Examples include trying to get eight cylindrical pieces of wood into a box... seven fit just fine but there must be only one way to get hat eighth piece in there and we couldn't quite figure out how they all fit. Audrey was working when we visited and she was quite helpful finding a specific puzzle for us... it turned out that this solar system puzzle was located at their Fenton warehouse, so we paid there in Webster/Kirkwood/Oakland and then visited the warehouse. At the warehouse, you can see from the doorway inside the warehouse... shelves filled high and wide with puzzles... no wonder they are the world's largest warehouse. So we're making two of the puzzles at home now and have a couple more "in the queue" for after the first ones are completed. Thank you, Puzzle Warehouse! read more

If I could, I would give 0 starts. They offer a puzzle rollup which is so you can put together a puzzle and roll it up anytime. It just arrived and it's junk. Cheap felt that because it was folded over and over, I had big creases. But that's not even the worst part. Because it's cheap felt, you cant even put the puzzle together with it and if you did, it would rollup anyway because it's so very cheap. Just a huge square of cheap felt. WOW! I love jigsaw puzzles but I had no idea there were so many different brands and types of puzzles and this store had them all! My mother and I were in town to do some Christmas shopping and we are usually a seeker of puzzle and game stores. So when I found this one I knew we had to go. It is kind of weird to get to and doesn't look very appealing from the outside. (Although it was dark and gloomy the night we went.). We arrived and walked in and there were so many wonderful puzzles! They had many different brands including Springbok which is my favorite and many that I have never heard of before. They had and entire aisle dedicated to Christmas puzzles as well. We spent about an hour in the store and it was so hard to just choose on or two puzzles. They have a huge selection of puzzles with many different sizes and many different designs. All the employees were really nice and knowledgeable. We have came here to buy puzzles for ourselves and also for other people as gifts. It feels so nice to support a local place rather than buying puzzles online. Normally after a visit I come home with a stack full of puzzles in my arms that I will complete soon. This was my first time going there alone. Very lovely space with big aisles and lighting. They do a super good job shelving their puzzles for you to easily browse by type, name, and size. The worker today was Lauren and she was amazingly friendly. Her energy from greeting you when you walk in to walking around and asking patrons if they need assistance was excellent. Specifically, I was looking for puzzle glue and I just grabbed the most convenient looking glue with an applicator, but she was able to recommend a different brand that she's used it before and told me how it'd even work! read more

I ordered two puzzles from the Puzzle Warehouse. They really have beautiful pictures on them and the color is very deep. They were also sent earlier than I thought which is a plus. I think my only disappointment is that not just a few of the pieces but many of the pieces were not cut all the way through. I could not take them apart or else then you rip the puzzle piece. So my first inclination may not be to purchase there again. But because the second puzzle is a gift and wrapped, I will wait till it is opened to see if I do. More to follow. First I received an email detailing my order and then I immediately received another email stating that they had charged my account but that all items were on back order with no estimate for shipping.
