When I'm traveling, I like to visit the local comic stores to see if I can find any back issues I'm…read moremissing. If you're interested in Sliver Age books, All-American is definitely worth checking out. There's a reasonable selection of back issues against one wall that are clean and well organized and a lot of dollar comics that I didn't have time to sift through. Big piles of trades on clearance, 2 for 1. But the main draw is in the display cases. Prime Silver and Bronze Age books, a lot of which look like they're VF or better. The prices of some of them are high, but they're accurate for those books in their particular conditions. A lot of stores will put the NM price on a book when the grade doesn't warrant it; none of that was evident here. I purchased a book from 1968 and it was probably priced a little bit below guide given it's condition. There was also a case with Golden Age books in the back, but there was a bunch of stuff stacked in front of it, so I didn't get a good look. So, I can't speak to All-American as a LCS, and if you're looking for that amazing find that's ridiculously inexpensive, it probably isn't here. But if you're interested in some neat books in great condition that are well graded and fairly priced you owe yourself a visit.

A very mom and pop feeling shop filled with a little bit of everything your nerdy heart could…read moreappreciate plus more! Prices are fair, lots to pick from! Check it out!

Weird behavior. Today, i had an issue with this particular guy. This location does not price match online, which sucks - whatever. Making the customer submit an online order then wait 30 minutes to get the product at the price advertised online is a profoundly stupid policy. Any other company would use common sense and just match it to not waste the customers and the employees time. I returned after placing my order, and he knew exactly who i was. He went and grabbed my order without me saying anything, and said "order number?" I dont have reception in that building, and asked if phone number was good. He says "i said order number", Whatever, another waste of time i guess. Eventually, it loaded, i gave it to him, and i told him that this whole thing was an awful experience, that nobody benefited from this, and it clearly him mad. He responded with "what, you dont know how to follow rules and regulations?" And things escalated from there. Buddy, this is a gamestop. There aren't regulations, this isn't rocket science. We exchanged unkind words, i told him that the only thing that was accomplished today was wasting everybody's time, aggravating a customer, and making sure that i will never return to this location. At this location, you can expect to be argued with, insulted, have your time wasted, and deal with staff without any sort of critical thought process. Grown men that speak and behave like high schoolers. I have worked in customer experience my entire life. Taking care of the patrons of a company is paramount. Not being abrasive and insulting when you represent the company is the bare minimum. Bodachs games, half price books, dorkys games, retro game rescue, trade n games - each of these are companies more deserving of your business.
