Wow! Why have I never been here before? If Wes Anderson could design a bookstore, this would be it. Many levels, rooms and passageways all lined with books or book themed gifts. The children's section was fun for adults, too! A great variety of titles which were all fun to browse. Then you get surprised by the many hidden gifts throughout. Never know when you might stumble on a bookish succulent or witty oven mitt. Also, they were able to order me a book and get in in store in two days. This is my go to bookstore from now on.

Super cute bookstore with lots of other fun things to shop for. There is a cute area for children to read and shop. So many accessories for book lovers like book marks, totes, wall art, and the cutest mini book earrings in different titles. Staff was extremely helpful when I was looking for a specific title and also with recommendations. Can't wait to go back and explore more when I have more time!

Cute indie bookstore. Nice selection of books and bookish accessories. New releases, banned books, classics, you name it! I think any book lover would enjoy a visit here.

A lovely, quaint neighborhood bookstore nestled in the bustling city of Webster Groves. I decided to browse the store while I was in the area and was greeted warmly upon arrival. The bookstore offers a wide selection of books across various genres. As someone who loves reading, I was particularly in the mood for personal development and biography books--and I wasn't disappointed. There truly is a book for everyone. Yes, books can be expensive, but purchasing one directly supports the author far more than borrowing a copy from the library. I personally enjoy making notes in my books and love supporting independent bookstores. That aside, you can also sign up for the bookstore's rewards program to receive future perks. Overall, it's definitely a spot worth visiting and exploring.

I had a wonderful time at the Beto O'Rourke event that The Novel Neighbor hosted. It was very well organized, and all the staff were so friendly! I didn't need to buy a book, but those who were were able to do so easily. I had some time to poke around the store beforehand and got a few goodies. Filled to the brim with books, and also fun gifts and stickers and things. Their Taylor Swift section is top notch!! Easily my favorite local bookstore in STL, I wish I lived closer.

great local book store with charming section for children and early readers. if you are in the area for sure stop in and check it out.

I love The Novel Neighbor! Every time I go there the staff give me great book rec based on what I tell them I'm looking for. They always help me find great gifts and books. I love that they have lots of local St. Louis items for sale by women and locally owned businesses. I also enjoy going to the used book sales to get great deals on good books. The used book sales benefit their charity work.

This was my first time to this cute eclectic bookstore. Actually got the recommendation from my doctor as a great place to get away and loose yourself. Bookshelves are categorized by unique subjects. Lots of little rooms to explore and chairs to sit down with a book. Plus, fun and interesting gift items and novelties throughout the store. Main entrance is on Big Bend. Plenty of parking in the back with a back entrance as well. Ross was very helpful helping me find the book I was looking at and also told me about their website.

So many bookseller reviews!

Was surprised to find that this place doesn't exist on Yelp yet, but anyway this is a new vintage…read moreshop that opened up in St. Louis about two months ago. I think my first thought when entering the store was that these types of places don't usually exist in smaller, more low-key cities like St. Louis. Think LA/SF/NYC/Chicago hip streetwear store transplanted in St. Louis. Not gonna lie, this place basically sells everything I've ever been looking for whenever I go thrifting/vintage shopping. The clothing is carefully curated with new stock coming in daily, and with a really good representation of trending streetwear brands (Nike, Adidas, Champion, Reebok, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Kappa, Supreme). There's also a large selection of band tees and other graphic tees. There's a small selection of denim, shorts for women and a mix of jeans for men and women, and a mish mash of shoes as well. And there's a large selection of men's outerwear ranging from windbreakers to denim jackets and bombers. One gripe I have is that I wish there was a larger selection for girls. I personally shop in the men's section all the time and dig the oversized look, but when ya girl is trying to find a fresh pair of sneaks or jeans, oversized isn't gonna do it. I know the owners are working on building up their stock, so I'm sure in the future there will be a lot more options. Also, this place isn't cheap (nor is it insanely expensive either). Think $15-35 for tees, $50 for sweaters, $20 for jeans, etc. Prices are fair, but don't be expecting Goodwill prices ;) Overall I'm ridiculously excited that a shop like this finally exists in St. Louis.

The shoe prices were actually $100 cheaper than you'd find in Dallas so that was nice, but we just didn't see any we needed this visit. Plus a dump box with some great sales! Sales associates were so nice and welcoming and helpful. The vibe was happy and inviting. I recommend!
