Review Visit: November 6th, 2016…read more The name in all honesty should be... Endless Records. While killing time in St. Louis, MO, I decided to stop by this music store to see what they offered. Well, they offer endless vinyl to pour over. Endless cds to browse. Endless vhs tapes to get at a cheap price. They had it all and then some. Rows and rows and rows of cds, vinyls, dvds, vhs tapes. Boxes and boxes of the same all over the place. If you are claustrophobic, this store is not for you. If you are a music lover, this store is for you. If you are both... well take your chance and maybe find something cool or unique. The prices on everything seems pretty good, if not a bit cheap. Every artist I thought of, I found something from them. Even happened upon bands I haven't heard of in forever. They do take trade-ins if you are looking to offload rare music stuff or music players. Quite a great little stop if you love music or vinyl or clutter. I tried to capture the charm and the quantity of stuff available in my photos, so you can see what I am talking about.

The space is really big and packed with records, DVDs, CDs, you name it. Everything is labeled pretty well but it can definitely feel overwhelming just because of how much there is. The good news is the staff is super friendly and easy to approach, so don't hesitate to ask them for help or something specific. I was also surprised by how much international stuff they carry. They even had a recent Kpop album from a group I like and I did not expect them to have it in stock. Overall just a really fun place to come to with friends, flip through some records, and maybe find something you weren't expecting. Would go back!

Not only did they have it available but it was priced well too. The staff was very friendly and this place is huge. Highly likely that whatever you are looking for, they'll have it here. My only issue would be parking. I was lucky to find a spot in front but usually it's busy in the loop so get make sure you are good with walking. Still a great location with all the other shops around. I will definitely return as my kids are into vinyl records now and would like a few of their own.

Jeremy took great care of me. Rather than just ring me up, he talked to me. He genuinely wanted to know what my taste is. He insisted on playing a pricier album that I selected for me in order to ensure that the sound quality and playability met my standards. Talk about knowledgeable. I asked about a particular album that they didnt have but he new everything about the album including the name of the model on the cover art. Dude blew my mind. Hes a savant. They were so welcoming and enthusiastic about helping to understand every customer that came in while I was there. They invested their time and energy into each of us. This will be my #1 music shop from now on. Dont miss their satellite booth at Pick 66 antiques mall in Crestwood on Watson. Great finds there. They dont keep all of the best stuff for the home location. They make sure that the satellite location has great offerings.

The record store portion of the business featured a very good selection of alphabetically- sorted used rock vinyl, including many import pressings ... as well as a few new LPs (including recent RSD releases). Budget-priced discs were in crates below and behind the primary inventory. They also had some jazz, blues, folk/country, and a few classical records. They even had two different releases by my favorite 60's band, Moby Grape!! While the records alone would have brought me back to this store, fully half of their location is dedicated to high-end hi-fi equipment: turntabless, CD players, amp, speakers, etc. I have been wanted to rebuild my home audio for over 30 years ... but after several major geographic relocations, I no longer knew where to start. Well folks, this is it! Mike, the owner, is extremely knowledgable in all matters stereo - and will demo different set-ups at your request. Very high end, audiophile equipment. There's more stuff to explore, but please trust me, it's a great store. The good old days for a record collector like me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Near the Arts District (Fabulous Fox, Powell Hall, etc), this unassuming storefront has a friendly, comfortable space to browse thru records nicely index by genre, and in many cases, then alphabetized or sorted by artist names. Various animal-related pieces (as in taxidermy and fur, not as in ceramic Persian cats). Staff left me alone to shop the 2... 3? 4? rooms. These rooms are pretty full. Give yourself some time and consider leaving with a sitter any little kids who would touch and break things. Minus one star because I filled out the "buying" form on the website. I had some items I wanted to see whether they'd be interested in. No one contacted me. It's fine if my stuff isn't of the type or quality that goes in your store, but I'm clearing out a late family member's possessions and I took some time to upload photos share with The Brass Alligator, and even a "thanks, but no thanks" would have been nice. Not a big deal.

Worst estate sale experience I've had…read more The first day was overcrowded to the point of being uncomfortable -- way too many people packed inside with no control. The second day, they had people standing outside for over an hour with no communication or sense of urgency. Pricing was completely out of touch. Charging $1 per stem for tiny Dollar Tree florals (not even a bouquet) is honestly absurd. What really pushed this into unacceptable territory was the pricing on half-price day. I was quoted $900 for about half a car full. After checking the tags myself, it should have been closer to $400 -- or around $200 with the discount. That kind of discrepancy is not a small mistake. Between the lack of organization, long waits, and questionable pricing, this felt like a very poorly run sale at best -- and misleading at worst. I won't be back.
