There are lots of built sets on display, and pre-made sets for sale. I bought a couple of pre-made sets that I had my eye on, because the pieces were less than buying the sets brand new. There's also large bins where you can dig and select individual Lego pieces to buy by the pound. This is great for having extra pieces to use as spares or for modification building. Fast forward to recently, my girlfriend and I got back into collecting Pokémon cards. When she suggested giving The Collector another try, I was hesitant, but we decided to check it out again. To their credit, the pricing has improved compared to what I remembered, even though it still tends to be on the higher side. We also met a few people there and started making friends, which made the experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately, over time, those friendships seemed to fade for no apparent reason. It started to feel like we were being singled out or treated differently, and the overall atmosphere became uncomfortable. Whether that was intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome and targeted. Because of that experience, we've decided not to return.
