She needed ballet shoes, tap shoes, a light pink leotard, and a specific brand of light pink tights. As a former dancer, this was a special day for so many reasons! Aside from my baby being excited, I couldn't wait to see her in her first pair of ballet shoes. Denise at The Dance Bag was so helpful! There was only one other dancer in the shop, so we were able to get started right away. She sized my daughter for ballet shoes, and we found a pair that fit just right. We ended up ordering tap shoes to make sure we got the kind we needed (velcro), and I'll be picking those up in the next week or so. She had a perfect leotard and pair of tights, and my daughter even picked out a sparkly pointe shoe to put on the zipper of her dance bag. I was trying to not go into the day with high expectations (nothing is guaranteed when you're with a 3.5 year old!) but it ended up being the most special hour picking out new shoes and starting a new adventure. Thanks to The Dance Bag, it was everything I had been dreaming of and more.

As a professional ballet dancer I don't trust any other dance retail to know the details of every shoe, toe pad, tights and training tools like a wobble board to strengthen. She knows every aspect because she was a PROFESSIONAL DANCER! I've performed in many different cities and can confirm STL is VERY lucky to be so spoiled.

He never looked at the unworn item nor receipt which was present. He asked why and the gentleman stated because the top of the box was ripped. I instantly called the manager when my son arrived home. I explained what happened and the employee lied several times. He first said the item was unsellable and then he said he had no receipt. When I arrived back with him they saw zero issues and returned it. It's very inconvenient so have someone take almost an hour going back and forth to the store. I could assume why he was treated like that but without proof I'll keep it to the employee was very unprofessional. Do better !!!!! To much of our money is spent here for this type of behavior

They had emailed me the receipt and when I read that later I noticed they charged me $27.99 for the hat. I find it dishonest when a store does this. I own a store. I would never! It's not the $2 but the false advertising that really bothers me.
