    Tuna Poke Bowl
    Leena S.

We completely stumbled upon Pokee Xpress, while looking for a lunch spot on our road. I hadn't even referred to Yelp to find this gem! I can see why this place gets the 5-star reviews it so rightly deserves. The ingredients are so fresh and the options varied and plentiful. Not to mention that the gentleman who created our Poke bowls was super friendly and personable. The interior and restroom was immaculate and super clean. The bowls were pricey for what I consider a reasonable price for Poke, but it seems everything has gone up in cost.

I was en route from DC to Baltimore and was dying of hunger, so I stopped at this little strip mall. I love poke and this place was fresh, delicious, and fast. The guy behind the counter was friendly, patient and efficient. There's ample seating and parking, and the interior is cute and clean.

Rice Bowl with 2 scoops of protein (chicken and tofu), Seaweed Salad, corn, cucumber, carrots, mango, pineapple, and sweet onion (6.25.22)

6.25.22 I discovered this restaurant through a Groupon offer for a regular bowl with two scoops of protein and miso soup for $14. The restaurant is located on the backside of the shopping center of Arundel Preserve. It is rather small with counter seating. There are also a few two seat tables towards the back. I get cold easily, but it was a bit toasty in there. I like that they have a large selection of toppings. Some of my favorites were the sweet corn, seaweed salad, edamame, pineapple, mango, and sweet onion. I wish there were other types of protein such as beef, pork, or fried tofu. For my protein, I got a scoop of chicken and organic tofu. Then I selected the teriyaki sauce and onion crisps to top it off. I thought my combination was delicious and everything tasted fresh. I am picky about my rice and it was cooked perfectly. Not under or overcooked. The miso soup was also very flavorful. This was my first time having a "poke" bowl, but I have had a Bibibop bowl, which is very similar. If I compare the two, I think this restaurant is more expensive for the amount of food. Although it seems fresher so it compensates for the price. You get what you pay for. Loved my first visit and if I am in the area by the mall, I would definitely stop by again.

Stumbled upon this place when I was doing a work task nearby. Upon walking in, it's a bit quiet. However, it's very sleek and clean inside. The man who was working was very helpful and friendly. I did a large bowl, salad base, with 3 salmon and 1 crab scoop. The crab is like a slaw mixture with imitation crab. Definitely isn't my favorite, however I like how the toppings are unlimited. Also the sauces. If I remember correctly I added: seaweed salad, edamame, sweet onions, green onions, mangoes, onion crunch, furikake, roasted seaweed, jalapeños, and probably other things but I can't remember it all. The sauces I did was their special sauce, spicy Mayo, and got their wasabi honey on the side. All were great. I also added a Perrier water. Everything came out to about $27 after I tipped about $5.

This has got to be one of the best poke places ever. This place is right across the street from where I am so it is so convenient to come here. Dont let the other places in the plaza overshadow this gem of a place! Walked in and the service was amazing. The guy working there is so nice and helpful , he asks if theres enough of everything for you. I cant lie I was so excited to go home and eat my poke bowl. I forgot exactly what I ordered, I just know the food wasnt even in my plate for 5 minutes before it was gone. SO delicious, I will be coming again and again!

I got excited to try this place finally! The shop is super clean and organized. The ingredients were nicely placed and fresh looking behind the glass window. The price you pay for the amount is get wasn't really what I anticipated. It is on the pricey side for the amount of food. I thought it tasted fresh and worth the try. Should try this place out!

Pretty good poke bowl place! They just opened. I don't know if they did anything special for their grand opening. Service: they didn't start making my bowls until I walked in, but it really only took a few minutes to make my order. I believe the owner was there as a supervisor and encouraged me to give feedback about the bowls. Food: tasty. My only feedback is to have more options and to also explore different varieties of crab salad. Also make cream cheese an option!!! I typically go to Poke Fresh which is a bit longer drive than going here, but they forgot to put the salmon on my bowl one time and I had to drive back to get it! Like how can you forget one of the main ingredients lol. Pokee Xpress, please please please add more options to your menu and also get more advertising out there! I wouldn't have known you existed until I drove by and saw the grand opening sign.

Surprisingly all fresh ingredients. The gentleman was kind enough to serve us right at closing. We called several locations to order carry out but they were all close early for Memorial Day. Glad we stopped here. Will be back.

The service was good, though I didn't have much interaction with the owners. I really ended the traditional elote, the flavors was amazing and the corn was cooked well. The old bay option was a little too salty for my liking though. It wasn't horrible, but I didn't enjoy it as much.

It's not really living up to expectation. The concept of this truck seems to be experimental to a certain degree and I can't say I loved their take on this one. Like other reviews mentioned, it's more like thick cut bacon on a fried bun (the menu clearly states the bun is fried, by the way). I was recently at the Food Truck Friday in Annapolis event and while I was ordering something from another vendor I smelled their heavenly Chicken Tikka Masala and instantly wished I'd ordered that instead. So I look forward to giving this vendor another shot soon- and let me say I see this truck all over and I really appreciate how they put themselves out there. Watch this space for an update soon!

Solid meal, friendly service, with a few nitpicks. details: We went on a pretty quiet Monday afternoon to grab a sushi (and more) dinner. There were hardly any people for context. There's a bar (by the sushi making station), tables, and booths to sit. Plenty of seating. The ambiance is kind of modern with familiar touches of an Asian/Japanese dining experience. There's TVs everywhere, which I assume would be playing sports/news (but there weren't any games happening at that time). That's where my nitpick actually is. I don't think they monitor this very closely and so there were a few explicit songs and videos playing at the time we were there. It wasn't anything hardcore or anything, but something to be cognizant about if you're going with little ones. The food was solid. Things did take a little longer than what I expected considering how quiet the place was when we were there. However, things did taste fresh and made to order, so I'm guessing/assuming the time went to make things fresh which is definitely nice. All the food we ordered was well balanced with flavor and cooked well. The sushi menu felt a bit more on the Americanized side for me. e.g. there's lots of rolls with cream cheese and mayo type of sauces. But, what we did order was very tasty. Positive experience all around and I would recommend checking out if you're in the area and in the mood for some Japanese cuisine.

Plus a salad and cup of miso. Just want to say, all of the ingredients were fresh and the veggies were crisp-tender, yum. I generally avoid chicken breast dishes because they tend to be too dry.
