For lunch, I tried the shoyu ramen with a soft boiled egg and side of spicy oil. The broth was light and flavorful. The chashu was very tender and seared nicely. The shoyu came with straight noodles instead of wavy, but it was still good. The bowl had menma, as well as red and green onions. I enjoyed the bowl so much, we went back for dinner the same day. For dinner, I tried the shio ramen, which was basically the same thing, but with a sea salt tare instead of soy sauce. I also got wavy noodles this time and I definitely prefer the wavy noodles. Once again, it came with red and green onion, which i think is a bit overpowering. I would get just green onion next time. The family/couple sets seem to be a great deal. I would definitely return.

Ambience is "city vibe". Splashes of paint here & there with plenty of black painted walls & Asian accents. ( yes, I mean JUST good) --the brothless Ramen Shrimp Scampi was the winner here. An excellent pasta dish full of flavor. Great choice. DESSERT... not here....plenty of coffee shops, etc in Montclair within walking distance. We were told no coffee ( only tea) and only 1 dessert ( a bao bun confection with Nutella & powdered sugar). How boring ! No coffee? Never heard of such a thing. and isn't EVERYONE doing a version of zeppoles in Nutella sauce these days. Really disappointed in this. Let's hope a few tweaks brings this new Felice outpost inline with some of the other restaurants he has.
