Clean cuticles

This place is amazing! I walked passed by and decided to book an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I was taken to a seat right a away and I got a great manicure. She even fixed my broken nail for free. Will come back for sure. Pricing is very reasonable for dt.

Baby Blue French gel tips

This place is truly a little hidden gem. I booked online for an appointment for a gel nail with tips, eyebrow threading, and pedicure. Everyone was super nice and polite and took care of me right away. The lady who did my nails did such a great job that I couldn't stop thanking her throughout my experience. I'm only here in Vancouver for one day on a work trip but I would definitely come back just to retouch my nails again. Truly wishing the nail salons in New Jersey in the United States would be like this one.

Unprofessional and grossly uneven nail "fix" where tech did not bother to check the length or finding the right nail colour.

Extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism and quality - WILL NOT visit ever again. This nail salon was recommended by my co worked who had recently started going here for her manicure. So a week ago I decided to visit for a full gel set with manicure. The results and service was average in comparison to the other salons in the coal harbour area. Nothing stood out other than the expensive price it had costed. However considering it was a gel set rather than acrylic, I wasn't too concerned. In addition it was with the technician my co worker had recommended. Tips were paid accordingly. Unfortunately the glue was lacking on my right thumb and index finger and within a weeks time they were peeling. So today I decided to call in and ask for them to schedule a fix. I was told it would cost me as it's been 8 days since and it's only free of charge within a week - alright that's fine. I had my gel redone on both fingers with the length GROSSLY longer than the left side. The technician Sally did NOT bother to compare the length. Sally was hesitant in finding out which polish has been applied by the previous tech and told me she rather stick with clear as they have too many nude colour to canvass which polish fits my original nail colour ( semi opaque pink). When I suggested it was a light nude colour layered once, she agreed to find the shade but said to me " if you're happy then ok." Excuse me? Additionally, the oval shape is not filed symmetrically and looks as if it was done without care. For two pathetic nails fix it costed me $20+. I've also tipped this time. Regardless if it's a full set or fix, your salon is trading your professional nail service for a payment. For a salon that charges a higher rate then most, you guys sure do a pathetic job. Not even bothering to check the length of your clients nails on both hands? Where's the professionalism in that. Update: Visited today to fix a nail which they messed up during a previous fix. NO customer service AT ALL and Sally decided to talk back when I mentioned to Sammy who was fixing my nails that she (Sally) didn't check length or bother finding the correct colour. Koodos to you, my co worker along with I will no longer visit your salon. I regret spending over a hundred dollars for a set of gel, waste of time "fixes" and one more thing to stress about.

Had an absolutely beautiful gel manicure. My technician did a fabulous job. She was gentle with an injury on my hand. She applied the polish perfectly and the design work is absolutely gorgeous. Loved it. Thank you

Just went yesterday and I think her name was Shannon did my nails. I walked in and promptly was seated. I got a manicure for $20 and she did a fantastic job. Very clean and helpful staff. Everyone was very hospitable. You can see that they sterilize their tools right there! My manicure lasted about 5 days. i am very rough on my nails. she did offer the Gel, which i have done before, but i like the whole getting my nails done pampering.....

Names provided on their website. Sitting in my styling chair and having Kim take care of me, I was actually quite impressed. Not only was she a delight to deal with but she's an absolute expert at what she does...I received exactly what I was looking for. I was really enjoying myself...the energy, the vibe and knowing I was in good hands with Kim who was cutting my hair for the first time. I was in this Zen place thinking to myself in my chair ....finally I found my salon. ........................Until At the end, as I was checking out.....Luna charged me $120. I reminded her that actually Kim's fee for a woman's cut on the website is $100. She mentioned that this is the minimum and that it can increase based on the length of hair, quality of hair...and this and that....which is funny because they call you before the appointment and ask you all that stuff, but don't mention any price increase, until you have to pay....lol I asked her again and she said, the website is not accurate... wow...ok.... Anyhoo, I did find it a little disingenuous especially considering that Kim my stylist mentioned it was easy to cut my hair because of how healthy it is...so why the extra charge then?..... Anyway, moving on....Kim gave me a great cut and she's worth every dollar. What really pissed me off was something else..... I was paying cash, and as I handed Luna my bills she asked would you like change back? I said yes. Twice she asked me and then gave me this look like you're not leaving a tip?! She asked me again, you want ALL of it back?...Yes, I said....As I wanted to manage the tip situation with Kim herself upon a little chat before heading out. What made this even worse was, as Luna was giving me back my change...she dropped every single nickel, dime and Loonie on the desk. Before giving me ....this judgemental look. Every single minute of that enjoyable experience in that salon before checkout crashed and burned. Ok....I'll tell you....it wasn't even the money. I felt judged. I did speak with Kim afterwards outside only to be fair, as I wanted her to know, because she is a great stylist. However, it is exactly due to people like the front desk girl Luna cashing me out that I will not return here. I'm sad to say. Hair salons are like any other businesses. Reception is everything. The first thing the customers experiences and the last thing the customer leaves with...either brings them back or not. Interestingly, Upon arrival, the front girl was someone else and her energy and service matched an upscale environment, professional and courteous. Pity for them she wasn't the one at the front as I was leaving. If you are the reception for the evening, it is not your business how much tip clients leave or choose not to leave. It is however, your business to problem solve which she didn't do. At all. "The website is not accurate" is all she gave me with a blank stare. She didn't even attempt to ask or consult my stylist about the fee confusion, or to ask management to look into the matter and honor what could have simply been an honest misunderstanding. She just dropped my change as you would throw a street performer without a second thought, as to customer satisfaction or your own professional responsibility to the salon and its owner. If it weren't for Kim's great cut they'd only get 1 star.

Beautiful decor ( even though shower curtains were all over the place, due to covid ) but the place looked neat and clean along with good n simple decor. Proper safety measures were taken from sanitation to face covering at all times. There is a small area for kevin retail products which you are not pushed to buy if you don't want them. (Plus point coz if anyone is interested to buy , the person will ask just like i did) yah! I got the "against the gravity" hair spray for volume and it is amazing. Not too sticky n heavy and not too light. My hair stylist patiently listened to my requirements and respectfully suggested her options. I liked the overall look of my hair and especially her own hair. Just stylishly perfect to the personalities.

The layers were exactly what I wanted (I showed her a picture). I found the massage relaxing and a nice extra touch. The inside of the salon is small, with 5-6 seats iirc. I decided to try this place again, and booked my first haircut with Zen. I could tell that he is popular as I had to book my appointment one month before to get a slot. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Zen at the front door. He asked if I have appointment, and proceeded to ask for my vaccine card and ID before letting me in. Once seated, he asked me what kind of hair style I wanted to get. I described to him, the length and the image I wanted. Then he told me to move to the hair washing station, he washed my hair and gave me head massage. When I get back to my seat, he gave me mini shoulder massage. It was a very relaxing experience! We had a bit of casual conversation throughout the haircut experience, about his background and where he came from. I specifically asked for short bangs and he asked my daily routine. He wanted to make sure that he cut my bangs to the style that I can maintain everyday. I was really happy with the result. The price is slightly more expensive than with other stylist or other places, but it is totally justifiable. Nit, on the website, it says that haircut include eyebrow cut, but he did not offer it maybe due to COVID-19?

I made an appointment for a haircut. Usually a haircut means including shampoo and blow dry. If I…read morewant a single cut only I would specify that. However, when I sat down, Ada start to cut my hair and spraying water. I thought maybe she will wash my hair later. She didn't; she just said she would put some moroccan oil on my hair because my hair was dry. I was skeptical about it because when I was at another hair salon, the hairstylist put the moroccan oil after my hair has been washed. Then she asked Richard to turn on the curler. I felt odd because I didn't ask for my hair to be curly. I was the last customer of the day. She just kept cutting and then she curled the ends of my hair. She said, "I want you to have a different style. Do you know the star XXX? She looks nice with this hairstyle." But that is not what I'd asked for; I just want my hair to be straight with layers and the ends trimmed. She also said," I bought the curler for $100 but now curlers are so cheap, only $40 something. You see how I curled the hair? I will teach you next time." It was strange that she said that; no hairstylists would say that when they curled your hair. It was 30 degrees outside but she asked Richard to turn off the air conditioning. Saving electricity? I don't know why. She kept cutting then she asked me to stand up to let her see my hair. She said she would see my hair better if I stand up. If she cannot cut my hair using the mirror nor just by looking at my face while I was sitting, she is genuinely unprofessional. This is the first time that a hairstylist asked me to stand up in order for him/her to cut the hair. The phone rang after a few seconds, I sat down as she went to answer the phone. When she took off the towel on my shoulder and the protective coat that I wore after she finished cutting my hair. She said. "Wait, your hair." The she cut the ends of my hair again on my shirt and she said, "Don't move" as her scissor was close to my neck. It is really unprofessional for the hairstylists to cut the hair again after they took off the towel and the protective coat. She charged me the price of a single cut at the end. However, I never ask for a single cut only; I expect the haircut includes shampoo and blow dry. Also, I, the client, shouldn't need to stand up for her to see and to cut my hair; that just means she is unskillful. Moreover, she shouldn't cut the client's hair after taking away the towel and the protective coat from his/her clothes. Importantly, she didn't cut the hairstyle that I, the client, had asked for. She had done a hairstyle that she wants instead. If she is that arrogant, then I will just try another hair salon. P.S. After I washed my hair that night and the curls were gone, I realized that my hair on the right side is half inch shorter than my hair on the left side. I suspect that the good reviews were written by their relatives or friends, or just for a discount from the hair salon. Their prices are not cheap; same prices as other Chinese hair salons. The owners (Ada and Richard) are not professional at all, regarding their skills and service. There are better choices of Chinese hair salons in Vancouver.
