I'm now wearing the signature wrinkle of Four Seasons Cleaners on my "ironed" shirts…read more I drove out of my way to goto this place based on the Yelp reviews, but won't again. I brought in dry cleaning and shirts to be ironed. The dry cleaning was fine. Nothing extraordinary and I'd do dry cleaning there again except it was slow (4 days to get it returned). My problem were the shirts I brought in to be ironed. All 8 shirts ironed had wrinkles in the same places from his process. On the front parallel with the top seam on both shoulders, and on the back there was a pretty deeply folded wrinkle coming down from both sides off the top of the neck. Photos attached of both. If it were one shirt ok, but it was every shirt that came back. When you get the shirts back, they are wrapped around one another so it looks like the back shirt is giving the front shirts a hug, making it hard to check them for damage. There also isn't a bar like most shops you can hang the clothes up on to look through them individually. Kinda weird for a dry cleaner, just a pole with a hook to hang all 8 shirts on. I asked him about the wrinkles hoping to get them fixed and he told me about his 3 machine process and how the machines cost 15k each and you won't find a better quality machine anywhere. I was asking in front of other customers and I think I unintentionally embarrassed him. Then he either said I could go or asked me to go. Not to be that guy, but with his accent I just couldn't make it out so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was saying the shirts were good to go. He couldn't fix the wrinkles, so I paid and left and joined Yelp so I could warn others. This is not the wonderful special place the reviews make it out to be. It is definitely cheaper than most dry cleaners! But I'm ok with paying more to get a completely ironed shirt.

I visited said cleaners on a Saturday afternoon to drop four dresses off for PRESS ONLY as I had already laundered them at home, I also thought this would cut the wait time down a bit. Well, my first shock was that I was informed my dresses wouldn't be ready for pick up until Thursday I understand that they are closed on Sunday, but four days to press four dresses? Not one thing is express about that! We settled on Wednesday after 4pm which is still pretty much Thursday, but slightly better. My second surprise was the charge, for the pressing of these four dresses I was charged over $42, yup you read that right. I probably should've walked out then, but I decided to give them a try. My dresses were ready at the agreed upon time and pressed nicely, but was it worth over $10 per dress, absolutely NOT. I have since just switched to Zips and three dresses pressed only costed me the price of one dress at Dryclean Express and they were ready the next day, before the promised time, that's express to me! I hope this review helps someone that may be looking for this service.

Hilltop Cleaners has been part of Bowie for decades, yet the new owner has elevated the experience. During my visit, Andre was managing the counter himself, and his approach to evaluating items was professional and transparent. He outlined what treatments were possible while providing clear pricing from the start. The shop is tidy and welcoming, and there are small details (free coffee by the front desk!) that reflect careful attention to the customer experience. I brought in a large container of older stuffed animals in need of both cleaning and repair, along with a delicate corset top and a multi-layered skirt. Andre went through everything step-by-step and provided a detailed estimate. His focus was on providing the items the care he said they deserve. When it came time to pick everything up, the process was prompt and professional. The work was beautifully done - all the garments were clean and properly finished, and the stuffed animals were returned all sparkling and ready for many more years of being loved by our family. Hilltop Cleaners went above and beyond what we expected in terms of pricing and service, and I am so pleased by my experience that I'm sharing it with friends and family...and now Yelp readers. Do I have to rate it??…read more I just had possibly the worst experience ever in my life. I am not confrontational at all. Actually quite a push over. But I do have a bad temper when I feel like I'm taken advantage of. I did not lose my cool but I tried not to cry. I took my dress there a week and a half ago to have it hemmed. When I came in I tried my dress on she did the chalking and knew exactly what it is I was asking for. We discussed it for about 20 minutes. Trying to get it just right. Off the bat she told me it will be $150. As if that wasn't outrageous enough for him, she went on to explain textures and surgeon what we need to be done because of the material and how wide it is. And me being naïve I said OK. Even though my sisters spoke highly against it and we're a little bewildered at the price. They help me cover the cost. I go to pick it up today, later then I asked because I volunteer to do her a favor, due to the prom season. She was delighted to oblige. And offered a 10% discount for it and to pay cash. Anyhow, I pick up my dress and it's cut. JUST CUT! Oh I was trying to explain to her, has she let me know when I came in that a him was not possible I would have left my dress as is and went on about my business. I believed that what I asked could be done and that's why I left it there. She yelled at me. Going on about her level of experience and her following the natural fibers. It's cut. Just cut.. She was not getting the point I was trying to make. And kept yelling that I am the only one that's ever complained in her over 20 years of experience. That is not a good way to do business. No one's ever complained, well today is the first day. There's a first time for everything. I got duped. I am just so upset right now.
