Should've checked the yelper before doing business with this company.. Shady, business practices. They they like to come and treat when you're not home and not do the inside or the garage. Say that you have a full balance due, even though you've tried to cancel and then give you the runaround and peer pressure, keeping it. Services didn't even work. My wife hired these guys to deal with a wasp nest under the siding shingles on our house. They assured her that they would be able to deal with the nest without removing any siding. The technician explained to her that they would put this stuff that would kill them as they entered and exited the site. They said that she should call back if there wasn't an improvement within a week. There is no improvement so she calls them back, they schedule a time to come out. The technician that they send out has no idea what or where hes working on. Have to explain the situation all over again. He informs me that there's nothing he can do but spray them with some wasp spray. He says they would have to remove siding to figure it out. So basically we paid $100 to have this company do what I already did several times, spray wasp killer under our siding. The flashy clothing and bright logos should have been our first sign. After looking this company up and seeing their logo with the '5 star' yelp image under their company name should have been a bright red flag. Save yourself some money and avoid this company. I'm sure their social media rep will respond with some apologetic nonsense about how they want to make this right. Just do the job we hired you for and don't lie to people to get their business. You guys should change your logo to reflect your 3.5 star rating. read more

We hired Pointe Pest for yellow jacket and mice control. They were quick and professional in initiating service and told me to phone them if we had any issues between their scheduled monthly service dates. We recently discovered a mouse in our backup snap trap. I have called twice and was told that someone would call me back. Sadly, no one has returned my call. I have been waiting now for three weeks. Great, fast service and very honest company. I suspected we had bed bugs so we had one of their inspectors come out. We were actually leaving for a trip when I started suspecting and the inspector was able to do the visit when we were still gone, which was very convenient. They sent someone out there the next day and he communicated to me via my cellphone which was great and made sure to lock up my house. It turned out we didn't have bed bugs and I really appreciated his honesty - I think a lot of pest control companies would have lied and said we did just to get more money. The inspection was completely free too. Stellar service all around and everyone I spoke to was super nice, will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Strongly recommend not this company. I've had two other pest control companies in the past. This one by far takes the cake. Receptionist is the worst. Customer service is not her first thought. Even with me making a complaint about the front desk to a manager same approach. They don't accommodate schedules. After signing up they tried coming two months after the initial service for their quarterly. And that's with me already having them come out twice for bugs. Then they wanted to wait for the quarterly. Constantly having to have them come out to do a respray for bugs. Something I haven't had to do with any other pest company I had in the past. I signed up for a year contract. This company started out absolutely great with thorough , effective and informative service. Second service was good but a different service person. Third service was less than fair with lax and incomplete service. Yet another service person I had to walk around and show locations of their equipment. They have maps and notes provided by the company. The fourth!!! Another service person. The fellow was worthless. No continuity and each seems less informed than the last. Unacceptable. Many of the bait stations were untouched. They still had dust all over them. The mice came back with a vengeance. I called to complain and ask for their "free" re-service. A very polite gentleman was sympathetic and scheduled an appointment to come out and "make things right." On the day of the appointment he called to cancel and said he would be in touch to "reschedule ASAP." It's been 2 months and I have not heard a word. All their bait stations etc are ineffective and still here where they placed them. If their follow up services were as great as initial one or even the second one I would have given them 4 stars but it seems once they have your money they just don't care. Disappointed read more

I had my service done on Saturday. Today is Monday and after a busy weekend, I finally went outside to look around. I can stand on my driveway and look up and see 5 wasp nests. The technician said he knocked them down and took them with him. One of them is right under the eaves by the garage door. Right in the open maybe 8 feet up. Hopefully the wasps are gone. There is also spider webs on the eaves in the back of the house. I got a discount, because the truck was already going to be in the area. I think they did a discount job. I didn't think I needed to follow him around and make sure he sprayed and did his job like he said he would. I don't want to pay for more services when they couldn't even do a decent job on the initial service. The guy who did the inspection part was very professional. read more

I had Pointe Pest Control complete initial service on a home we had to clean in order to move in to In January. The technician came and did his work but we still had problems with rodents. The policy states that if you're not happy with your service or you keep having issues they will treat for free but they never respond to emails and when you can't they take a message but never call you back. They're good about sending bills for services you try to cancel though. read more

The other #@%&(^!' company I used to use actually came out and claimed they did their job, no call in advance, no bill on the door, no dead bugs, nothing! Pointe pest control (Sandpoint) The tech that came out to service the row of apartments used the giant hose that is powered by the work truck to spray (I think talstar and something else) around doors and windows and eves, he drenched our door so much that the poison was coming into the house, he didn't even look to see if windows were open, sprayed in our house and others in the row. No concern and no safety. 1. Is talstar rated to be sprayed inside? 2. Do u use a power hose to apply pesticides that are labeled for outside to spray into doors and windows that are open? Isn't the backpack application fit the situation so ur not getting pesticide where it doesn't belong? 3. So I call Point pest to let them know what this guy is doing and they tell me I need to tell the Apartment management, okay but what about the guy getting pesticides in people houses? You going to do anything about that? (They said they were in contact with the supervisor) okay cool, next what was he spraying so I can clean my kitchen and front door entry? (There response) we cant tell u that..... "my response" but your poison is everywhere I want to know what will clean it safely (it will tell You on MSDS... still no answer from pointe pest. Called today and talked to 2 different people and told them what's up and they both just wanted my info and they said customer support is busy. I asked how does a customer call customer support? ( there response) we can forward it to them for me. So basically no one is communicating nor willing too. Pointe provides OK service, which amounts to laying out 2 mouse traps and spraying the edge of the house, for $100 per month. God forbid you ever try to cancel your service (since anyone can do that in about ten minutes with about $10 of supplies from Walmart) they will make you jump through hoops. AND they will keep coming to your house. And billing you. You have to cancel your service repeatedly. Scam. read more

Initial treatment was fine but the failed to show up and still charged me. Total scam. Stephen will not return calls and I have wasted hours diputing with the bank. Both of the technicians I've used so far from the Spokane area- Dave and Forrest - have been very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. I started using their service around August 1st for German cockroaches and they where available within days. Within a week it was very noticeable that the solution was working. Then the last time the sales man tried to open the front door before even ringing the door bell and held the screen door in a manner that tried to push and prevent me from saying NO. Everything started out great with this company, they came out right away, the techs seemed knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and they were punctual and friendly. That, however, is where the positives end. While the techs we're leaving they told me it would take approximately 2-3 weeks to see a marked improvement because of the way their formula works. I understood and was fine with the resolution, so began my wait. After 4 weeks there was zero improvement on my issue. I called customer service and they offered to have the techs come back out and do a complimentary respray. We accepted this offer as its part of their guarantee. We were given the same 2-3 week time frame for improvement. We continued to wait. Within this 2-3 week time our regular scheduled service happened as well, still given the 2-3 week time frame for improvement. After all this time in waiting there was absolutely ZERO improvement. Fed up with the lack of progress my husband called customer service and challenged the invoice we received for the service as per our 1 year agreement. The agreement stated that if at anytime we were not satisfied we could cancel without issue. Upon calling to cancel my husband was threatened with cancellation fees though the sales representative told him there were no early termination fees and have the messages to prove it. We felt that paying for a service that didn't work was unjust and we made that known to Pointe. Pointe didn't want to hear it. All they were willing to do was offer a complimentary re-spray but with how many times they have already sprayed it wasn't worth it. We spent weeks on the phone with Pointe trying to get a resolution on our final bill, all we received was threats, incompetent customer service and lies. I don't know about you but when something doesn't work, is broken, or you are just unsatisfied, any reputable company will take care of the issue. Not Pointe. We did end up going with our original choice Prime Pest Control. 3 DAYS after their first visit we saw massive improvement. During this period we continued to receive notices from Pointe about our outstanding balance. So again my husband called and explained why we should not have to pay for a service that did not deliver. At this point they basically threatened us with collections and refused to work with us at all. Gone was the customer service that cared about client satisfaction and "making things right". All they wanted was their money, even though in our opinion they did nothing to deserve it and were determined to get their money at all costs. After weeks of dissatisfaction we decided to pay the remaining balance to stop receiving invoices and threatening phone calls. It just wasn't worth the hassle, the arguing and having a bill so small go to collections as there was no resolution in sight and Point made that clear. Beware of this place, they'll get you with their "customer satisfaction comes first" speech, and demand payment for shoddy work that does nothing. read more
