They are relatively uncommon in our area so that's not surprising. So we met Jim Gowin at the house and he did an assessment and gave us an estimate and we set a date to do that actual treatment. The house is vacant at the moment so we had to make plans to come from out of town. Jim showed up on time (I was actually late and that was not a problem for him) and he took care of the problem. The product left multiple oily stains on our composition shingle roof. We reported it immediately, Mike accepted responsibility (they'd sent a bedbug technician to treat wasps) and they agreed to send a pressure washing company to clean the stains off roof. The pressure washing company showed up and declined doing the work and, instead, suggested a roofer do repairs/replacement. Pointe Pest, and its 'general manager' Mike, have stopped taking our calls, stopped responding emails, and when we called their insurance company listed with LNI-- of course, it's an invalid liability policy. Initially, they seemed to be working with us towards a resolution for this problem. Now, they've ghosted us. At this point, I'm hesitant to refer a single other person for their services because of this experience.

Our house was only…read moreabout 10 years old, but the original builders didn't properly insulate that area and the plastic sheeting they laid down on the floor was dark, dirty, not sealed, and didn't even cover the entire dirt crawlspace floor. Two guys from CrawlPros tore out all the old insulation, old plastic 'vapor barrier,' and other construction mess, and then they re-did all the insulation and put down a new white/clean vapor barrier that covered then entire floor...they were super fast and very clean...it looks like a nice professional job down there now!
