Nathan and Dave ended up coming in later to remove the carpeting and start disinfecting the spaces that needed it. They have been absolute rockstars. Cameron really helped us feel secure: he communicated clearly what the process would be, what he needed from us, and what would be happening as time went on. Allklean is the second mitigation company we have needed to use in the seven years we have been at our house, and thankfully they have been the best!

Tyler Knight made it clear he did not like the fact that I was assertive and calling them out for not doing things they should have been. But this is my HOME. This is where my family lives. Our lives were turned upside down and the lack of care, concern and compassion from our "project manager" Tyler Knight. I had to contact Servpro on multiple occasions to ask when they were going to do stuff for demo. I shouldn't have to be directing them. We suffered a disaster and on top of received poor customer service to add to everything already going on. They did not make this process any easier and actually delayed my claim moving forward timely. They let MOLD grow in my laundry room and bathroom. I had to ask for it to be removed. The communication was shoddy. Anytime I would contact for an update I wouldn't be responded to or sometimes responded to after long periods of time. Also we had to have asbestos testing. Our house was built in 1903 and of course the vinyl has asbestos. Servpro subcontracted to Air Tech. The bid came in at $7500 which did not include the $1500 testing. They KNEW my policy covered only $5000. This is a blatant attempt at claim padding because no where on earth does an abatement of 140sq feet cost $7500. They were going to try to make $4k off us. I went with another company and only paid $300 out of pocket. It was clear Tyler did not like that because his lackeys told me that since I wasn't using their subcontractor for the asbestos abatement then they're "done here" Never again. Do not call them. Call local! Not these franchises. EDIT: Beware!! The owner of this franchise and family members are posting positive reviews on their own fb page and on google to boost their rating

I called Servpro to get their general advice. I spoke to Rob and he was very friendly and helpful. He gave me an overview of the type of work you'd expect and the general cost. He was basically the only person I've spoken to that made any sense and took my concerns seriously. Though I can't rate their work, I give them 5 stars for their helpfulness and sensible advice/plan of action for water damage.

Called for a bid on insulation for my basement. The guy reeked of smoke. I asked for 2 bid - 1…read morenormal, the other with sound insulation. I chose the sound "package" which was more expensive. Install day came. The install guys were FANTASTIC. Everything was great until I got the bill - more than 10% more than the bid amount. I called to complain - no response. Called again and I got a math worksheet on how they came to that number, but no explanation why it wasn't in the bid amount. Checked on it again, with so response. I've given this company several opportunities, and have only received finance charges. If you are looking for a solid bid, skip Specialty.
