I don't typically post negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share my experience so other homeowners have a clear understanding of what they may encounter. I hired Pointe Pest Control to resolve a rodent issue at my home in Richland. During the appointment, the technician attempted to move my refrigerator and unintentionally left a deep gouge in my recently remodeled flooring. He acknowledged the damage immediately, apologized, and documented the issue with multiple photos for his management team. At that point, I appreciated the transparency and fully expected a standard insurance or remediation process to follow. Unfortunately, the situation became increasingly disappointing from that moment on. The service manager initially assured me that the company would refund my service and cover the cost of repairing the floor once I obtained professional estimates. I brought in three licensed flooring companies, all of whom independently confirmed that the damage cannot be spot-repaired or corrected with individual board replacement. Due to discontinued materials and where the scratch is located, a full floor replacement is the only way to restore the room to its original condition. After I provided these estimates, Pointe Pest abruptly shifted its position. I was told they would only consider repairs if the cost fell under their deductible -- a condition never disclosed previously. They also claimed they no longer had access to the photos their own technician submitted. Shortly afterward, they contacted one of the flooring professionals directly, questioning her recommendation and implying that the full replacement was motivated by sales rather than legitimate professional judgment. That same flooring expert reached out to me multiple times, explaining that Pointe Pest wanted her to apply a topical product that she explicitly stated would not resolve the damage. Despite her warnings, Pointe Pest seemed to aggressively recommend applying the product. As expected, it provided no repair; it simply made the damage darker and more visible. Even the individual applying it acknowledged that it was not a real solution. At this stage, I have received inconsistent explanations, shifting commitments, and no substantive path toward resolution. My request has been the same from the beginning: for Pointe Pest to take responsibility for the damage caused during their visit and repair it properly. I'm sharing this review not out of frustration, but so future customers have a realistic sense of the company's follow-through when property damage occurs. I sincerely hope they choose to resolve this matter appropriately, but until then, I would advise others to proceed with caution. read more

Excellent service and technicians. Consistently on-time, professional with name tags where I can see them before opening the storm door, informative, and take the time to answer questions with knowledgeable info. During the summer, my spider problems improved significantly, plus the technicians take the time to sweep away the wall-webs each time they come. I didn't expect an instantaneous solution, but after the second visit while weather was still warm, it seems the crawly critters are pretty much gone, yeah. Previously, I tried Home Depot off-the-shelf remedies, but they were very short lived and not very effective at controlling the problem. Since Fall weather started setting in, temps have turned cold which always brings the mice in searching for a warm spot to hang out (my garage). Joe (Pointe Pest Control) took the time to explain two different methods to control the problem. I preferred the sticky mouse traps vs. the dehydration blocks because the mice sometimes die inside the wall where you can't give them a tidy burial. I personally use Pointe Pest Control at home and the company I work for uses them as well. I have never had any issues with the service they provide for my home and they are prompt in responding to any pest issues I may have. In the last year the commercial side has not done too great which is why I have not left a review sooner and was considering cancelling services all together on the commercial side. However, I felt the commercial technician Eric, deserved a shout out because he is the FIRST tech to actually come and find me, introduce himself, tell me all the areas he checked for activity and told me if we need anything else to let him know. The techs in the past said they serviced when they did not and I had to make them come back and meet with me. I think as long as Eric continues to do his job the way he did today Pointe's will maintain their business here. For now I will give Pointe Pest Control a 5star review but please keep in mind, I will review again and it could always change based on customer service, and quality of services provided. read more

The first moved into our house in Kennewick and we were infested with earwigs and spiders, we reached out to point pest control and got the best quote from any company around. The first visit we noticed a huge difference in the decline of spiders and earwigs inside and outside of the house. The second visit they asked me if there's any concerns and I mentioned that we were seeing black widows, they took care of that immediately. Then a couple weeks after their last visit we started having mice when I called the company they sent somebody out immediately to handle the situation. Of course we could have tried it to do it ourselves and get some generic over-the-counter spider and bug killer but I rest easy knowing that if I walk outside or walk to my garage I'm not gonna have spiders or bugs crawling all over my things. Pointe Pest Control has been to our house 3 times since we contracted with them late last summer. We live in Hermiston, OR and they travel from the TriCities. They always call beforehand to let us know they will be coming. Allows us to be sure the pets are in while they are. Speaking of pets, they assure me that the materials they use are not harmful to pets. The reason I used Pointe was due to a bad infestation with box elder bugs. Nothing I used did much. However, the first application set them way back, but 1 month later they were coming back. I called and they came out at no charge and reapplied. That got em. CHad was the last technician to come out this week and he did a super job. He got under all the eaves, gutters and our deck. I am very impressed with Pointe's professionalism and knowledge and recommend them. read more

We have been using Point Pest Control for quite a number of years now. We have their yearly service contract. It is very convenient to have. Whenever we have a pest problem, they come out and take care of the situation. They are always friendly and very helpful. I would recommend their yearly service. They come every quarter to treat our house for pests. They have provided us with mouse traps when we started having a mouse problem. We also had a really bad wasp nest several years ago in our back yard. It took several days for them to completely get rid of it. The representative came each day to treat it to make sure they were completely gone. We were very impressed, and it didn't cost us any extra. It was included in our yearly service. read more

I have been a very satisfied customer of Pointe Pest Control for several years and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for control of pesky spiders, ants and hornets. They are professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. I have found them to be very reliable and willing to accommodate the customer anyway possible. The technician Joe and the whole service team at Pointe Pest Control (Kennewick) have been excellent! They are constantly available to discuss questions and pest concerns, and they have been very patient with me when I need to reschedule due to construction. The service in-person is always top-notch! I feel comfortable and safe with team members coming to my home, and I feel like they care about my family and pest control needs. We just purchased our home this March 2020. We researched reviews of several companies and Pointe Pest Control had the highest and best reviews. We called and scheduled an appointment in July. We were confused as to why new construction would have a pest problem. They sprayed for our pest issues our problem solved. I have been a customer of Pointe Pest Control for a few years now, they have provided me with consistent professional service, and their technicians show up as scheduled and efficiently perform their tasks and remember to close gates so my dog doesn't temp fate leaving the yead. I have been using Point for over 4 year's. I went with the yearly plan and love it. I have lived in my home for over 30 year's and have always had ant problems. I have tried other pest control companies but point has listened to my needs. I, like most people have a very busy schedule and they contact me several days before my scheduled appointment to confirm that it still works for me. I have had Point Pest Control service my property for at least 3 years, and would highly recommend them. Today was no different. My only suggestion is that the serviceman call 1/2 hour before they arrive to let the homeowner know when they were going to arrive. I thought they did that, maybe not. He had the instructions if I were not going to be home. He did give me a suggestion that no other person who had serviced the property had done. Very good! We've been using Pointe Pest control for 6 months. Since we bought an older house we had many issues with pest, rodents and wasp. Pointe Pest Control was able to resolve these issues and always provide excellence service. I would like to thank Chad Reed who recently service our house for rodents. Pointe Pest is the best! We used another company for a while and were not pleased with the results we were getting. I was skeptical when Pointe first came to service our house but have been extremely pleased with the bug issues that we have NOT seen! All of the technicians have been wonderful. If you're on a contract they service four times a year and any time in between if you have issues. Damon P. is amazing! Gary at Pointe Pest Control has been as helpful as a pest control person could possibly be. He has helped identify critters and offered do-it-yourself solutions multiple times without charging me for his time or expertise. When I signed up for service with Pointe they came out and sprayed which was a big relief to my kids as they are deathly afraid of spiders. When we had some pests return Gary immediately had his people come back out and respray at no cost. Gary and his people stand by their products and service. I can't recommend them more! read more

I have been using Pointe for about a year and I am SO happy with my results and the customer service I have received. Joe M has come and serviced my home quite a few times for my scheduled sprays and he is always so friendly and answers any questions I have! I have only had to have them come out to do a repeat spray once and they came out relatively quick and laid extra traps as well to help. Totally recommend and even got my mom to use these guys too! We have used Pointe pest control for the last three years since we purchased our home. We had brown recluse spiders and Elm Tree bugs making their homes and our walls. We also had mice because the house set vacant for quite a while. Point has been absolutely wonderful for us. They perform an excellent service at an excellent cost and their employees are top-notch. Paul Espinoza was very helpful in ridding my home of the roaches and gave me tips and advise to give to my future tenants on how to keep the roaches away. I have used other pest companies in the past who have lied about the job they did so I really appreciate Paul's honesty and persistence in helping me with this problem.
