My quarterly service with Pointe Pest Control technicians James & Jacob was thoughtful, careful, and effective. Great Job!

1 piece of property with two houses on it. (1.2acres) They sprayed both and billed me. I paid the bill and then received a late notice for the exact amount I paid. As in SEVERAL texts. 48 days late. I checked the bank and it showed the amount was paid right after I received the bill. Here's where it went sideways. Each building has an address so pointe sent me TWO bills for the same amount. I ordered A, as in ONE, service call for the entire property but pointe decided to make the bills for two addresses and never informed me. Talking on the phone to them just burned my a$$ and was going nowhere. I finally figured out they were billing for two separate addresses instead of the ENTIRE PROPERTY like I ordered. The late notice texts NEVER indicated the exact same bill amount was for two separate addresses. I was so fed up with this dog & pony show I terminated them. I've called the local number several times (9 times) to pay the remaining balance by CC but it keeps saying they're to busy to answer. I fired Senske (another business like pointe) for the same type of bs. Now, on to a local company that actually wants the business & I can actually deal with. read more

I was scheduled for my quarterly service in September but Pointe called and left a message that they changed my service date to a later date without giving a reason. It now takes me off schedule for my 2024 quarterly service. However, I'm very pleased with my technician, Sam Corbett. He is thoughtful, careful, and very thorough. I have been using Pointe for over a year and a half. I have issues with rodents and spent over a thousand dollars having my garage professionally fumigated. On the next visit from Pointe, I explained this. my garage was perfectly clean and sanitized. But then the tech decided to change out the bait boxes in my garage and dumped mouse poop that was inside them along with the poison, right in my garage. I have children and pets, high risk medical condition. I brought this up to the tech and asked how he can do that after I just spent all that money having it cleaned, and now he dumped mouse poop. I asked if he can NOT do that again and he said he could dump it in the street instead of my garage. However he never cleaned up the mess he made. He returned a few other times and still never cleaned it up. If I have to risk my health and spend more money cleaning up his mess, why am I paying for a service? They also charge you the cost of a full service visit to come out and dispose of any dead rodents so that's not worth it at all. I've been calling around to other companies and plan to switch. Literally all the guy had to do was not dump mouse poop in my garage and secondly, clean up the mistake but neither was done. read more

Serious disappointment! Have use Pointe for years with fairly good service. We always have problems around our decks with little spiders and noseeums. Pointe usually does a good job to keep them at bay and when they don't, Pointe has been quick to respond. After spending most of the 4th holiday outside, my wife's ankle are a mess of bites. We called Pointe and were informed that they would gladly come out and spray in TWO WEEKS! Guess my wife is banished to the in doors. Might be time to find a new pest control company... read more

When I bought my house just over a year ago, I had problems with all kinds of pests: earwigs, spiders (and black widows!), armyworms, ants, wasps, you name it. Pointe came out and treated and the problem was resolved immediately. Their recurring service has kept all of my bug problems under control. Whenever I notice another bug, I call them up and they come right out. Devin has been the rep I've seen the most and he is friendly, reliable, punctual, and is always very informative. Great company. They have taken care of me this whole since spring and we we're having a lot of spider problems. We had to make an additional request in summer but they took care us without additional charges. Very considerate when spraying indoors as well since we have dogs and a baby in the house. I called Pointe when I had mice in the kitchen, and yes, they were helpful - at first. Initial visits very professional, they took time, went through house and area with me. Next few visits were fine. I will mention when they say 4 visits in the contract they really require 5 as the "first one does not count" thus I had 5 bills not 4, and the last $118.00 was frustrating to pay. The visits got worse, then the last time he stayed 5 minutes, handed me three packets to throw under the house and in the attic myself. They are still in a tin on top of my refrigerator. That cost me the last $118.00. I will be changing services. I tried to talk to the lady who called me about my bill and she was not going to listen or forward a message of how dissatisfied I was, just pay the bill. read more

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Whatever you do, don't let these guys anywhere NEAR your home!!! I made the mistake of letting one of the "salesman" in because I was shopping for pest control. He lied about how the service works and after going over everything (took about 30mins) he asked me to sign papers and upon reading the papers I realised it was a contract. Luckily I read before I signed! Also, he lied about cost. Stating it was "only" $99 for the first spray, but again, upon reading this contract that was never mentioned it also required ANOTHER $150 a mere two weeks after the initial $99!!! This was never stated upfront even though we discussed cost. I had to find these things out by reading them myself. Then I asked questions and as soon as I did the con artist, er, I mean, "salesman" realised he lost the sale and got EXTREMELY rude.. even making a comment about me being "pretty picky about who comes into my home." Seriously? I have a small child, yes, I AM PICKY ABOUT WHO COMES INTO MY HOME. That was only the beginning of his extreme rudeness. I literally kicked him out of my house by the end. If you care about the safety of your property and family, don't let these weirdos anywhere near. UPDATE: Since posting this update I've had management at Pointe pest control find this review "funny". They care about customers and customer service, but find their own employees creepy actions "funny". How are they even still in business? read more

Just an update since it's been a couple years. Pointe comes around every 4 months and keeps my house bug free. That's saying a lot since we live in the Tri-Cities where bugs run rampant. They are always super friendly. I had the same technician (Raul I believe) for a long time but he may be working in another area now, he's a great guy! They are all super efficient. read more

We recently needed Pest Control Services, and we were fortunate to find Pointe Pest Control. They have been excellent. Very quick to respond to our initial call, quick identify the problem, and worked to solve it. Unbelievable follow up service. Eric performed a follow up visit on November 24, 2021 and did a great job. We have worked with several members of the Pointe team, and they were all great. Our issue has been solved! We purchased a plan with this company. The customer service was great but they bit off a little more then they could take care of. Long story short, new home; our patio slab was built on top of a nest of bugs; spring tails. A jumping bug that literally came through our sink and toilets. Pointe said they could take care of the problem. We paid them a lot of money! After a while with no results we called another specialist. They knew the bug. They said break the slab. Broke the slab. Bugs gone. They didn't charge us a dime. Pointe - didn't have a clue. This is a big company with techs that are uneducated. Stick with a local company that has experience within the area. read more

I had service from another terminator and it seemed to do nothing but encourage the ants. Within days of Pointe Pest the ants have disappeared!! Thank goodness - I was ready to move! . Gary Isenberg met with me to discuss our wasp nest problem. In looking over the area, he explained that the treatment would be not only for wasps but spiders and ants, as well, both inside and outside of the home. After I set up the appointment, Jose Requeno arrived, explained that the spray was mammal-friendly (which is great, as we have cats!) and removed the outside wasps' nests. He sprayed inside the home, checked our attic for us, so that there were no surprises, and then sprayed the outside of the house. He was finished in a very short time! The fee was much lower than I anticipated, and we were very pleased! I will be using Pointe Pest Control, again, for next year! read more

Absolute worst customer service. I paid for a service only for half of it to be complete. They were supposed to adjust my bill, but never did. While fighting with them over this, they sent me to collections, and claimed it was too late to work with them, even though I had been in communication with them to get it adjusted. The lady I was working with didn't note all of our conversation, so they claim that I am lying and refuse to adjust the amount owed or refund me. In addition to this, they very rarely followed our arrangement and didn't show up when asked. Twice they showed up unplanned and billed me for it, unexpectedly and out of schedule, resulting in more phone tag and refunds. Awful company! Their pest spray doesn't work that well. You're better off buying your own at Walmart and avoiding the hassle of their bad service. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this service on this one occasion, appointment time scheduled between1700-1900 - this tech came by with out calling and started service with out calling and checking if the property was open so he could advise he was headed to this address. If he had he would have been advised of my immediate arrival after checking with me , as the garage was closed which is normally always sprayed, vehicles were not able to be removed from garage to allow access and spraying. Both gates were locked and this tech, who arrived early and attempted to short cut my service , could not nor get to the other areas of house which are always serviced. I am now having to attempt to re schedule which isn't convenient for my schedule to get complete service. I have used this service for several years and have never had this problem before with several other techs. I am seriously considering cancelling due to this tech's terrible attempt to just brush by my property and think I would be satisfied. I have a request into the manager to contact me and I will address this situation and inconsiderate attempt to service my property . read more

They deceived us. We were told one price for three mths. but was billed double. When we contacted Pointe, they were rude and basically said too bad. Our wasp problem has not been reduced at all and in fact even worse. Also we just had new windows installed today and the installer found seven wasp nest, which he had to spray himself, and our mail person was trying to fight off the wasp and she was nearly stung.
