I don't typically post negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share my experience so other homeowners have a clear understanding of what they may encounter. I hired Pointe Pest Control to resolve a rodent issue at my home in Richland. During the appointment, the technician attempted to move my refrigerator and unintentionally left a deep gouge in my recently remodeled flooring. He acknowledged the damage immediately, apologized, and documented the issue with multiple photos for his management team. At that point, I appreciated the transparency and fully expected a standard insurance or remediation process to follow. Unfortunately, the situation became increasingly disappointing from that moment on. The service manager initially assured me that the company would refund my service and cover the cost of repairing the floor once I obtained professional estimates. I brought in three licensed flooring companies, all of whom independently confirmed that the damage cannot be spot-repaired or corrected with individual board replacement. Due to discontinued materials and where the scratch is located, a full floor replacement is the only way to restore the room to its original condition. After I provided these estimates, Pointe Pest abruptly shifted its position. I was told they would only consider repairs if the cost fell under their deductible -- a condition never disclosed previously. They also claimed they no longer had access to the photos their own technician submitted. Shortly afterward, they contacted one of the flooring professionals directly, questioning her recommendation and implying that the full replacement was motivated by sales rather than legitimate professional judgment. That same flooring expert reached out to me multiple times, explaining that Pointe Pest wanted her to apply a topical product that she explicitly stated would not resolve the damage. Despite her warnings, Pointe Pest seemed to aggressively recommend applying the product. As expected, it provided no repair; it simply made the damage darker and more visible. Even the individual applying it acknowledged that it was not a real solution. At this stage, I have received inconsistent explanations, shifting commitments, and no substantive path toward resolution. My request has been the same from the beginning: for Pointe Pest to take responsibility for the damage caused during their visit and repair it properly. I'm sharing this review not out of frustration, but so future customers have a realistic sense of the company's follow-through when property damage occurs. I sincerely hope they choose to resolve this matter appropriately, but until then, I would advise others to proceed with caution. read more

I am very pleased with Point Pest Control. I left at one point and tried another company, but they were nowhere near as good as Point. I returned and vow to never leave again. I have had no problems with them, pests are under control and the young men who perform the application are very pleasant and polite. They even blow my sidewalks afterwards! read more

Update December 2022. I've been with Pointe Pest Control Tri-Cities for several years and purchased annual contracts for quarterly services. It's easy to write positive reviews when everything is going right. But what about when there is a problem? In this case, an infestation? We've had this year for the first time. Wasps gained a foothold in the home for the winter, and it's been difficult to find their nest and entry point. But after a few ineffective visits, lead tech, JUSTIN, and his associate ROB were attentive to our explanations and theories and offered some very good strategies going forward. They were thoughtful, amazing listeners to my WASP stories and followed me around the home while explained things. They never interrupted (something difficult for me) even though, in their minds, they had some solutions they felt they could try. Our issue is not "finished" because the Wasps will likely stir when it warms up. But they were adamant about returning and placed a product that would last the winter and kill any wasps attempting to enter or flee from the outside. On the "need for improvement" feedback side of things: For a short time in the last year (2022), I had an abnormal and low-quality service experience calling in. No one seemed available, and their automated phone system was weak. The front was never available, and a call back would have a "tag you're it" mentality instead of addressing the concerns left on the voicemail. But that seemed to get shored up in a few months. I've been in this home since 2001 and have used several Pest Control options. Pointe Pest is a top company with top service. read more

Pointe Pest Control was very easy to work with. They answer the phone (not voice mail). They came out the next morning as promised to look at our property and give us a cost. They were very reasonable. The technician, Damian, came out a few hours later, right on time. He explained everything he was doing. He was very knowledgeable and kind. They had to come back due to rain to spray (they were only able to put down granules according to the guy) They claimed to have come to spray at a scheduled time while I was gone. NO DEAD BUGS DISCOVERED. A few weeks later I'm tired of finding bugs still everywhere (I will say earwigs close to house were less but still out in the yard) another two people come out with the same exact shpeel about how "it takes 30-60 days to break cycle". I say okay well I should at least be seeing some dead bugs. They do a "spot treatment" based on some spots I for sure have seen living bugs. A day later I'm cleaning out a small rock bed right outside front door and I lift up a small pit and there's a huge spider and a bunch of small spiders scrambling still FULLY ALIVE. I have sent an email asking to cancel any future services and stated I want confirmation so my card isn't charged for future services. I will update review once I get this entirely cleared up. At this point though I agree this company is most definitely some form of a scam and NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Won't be recommending

I was told that the initial service included a 30 day follow up to assess the treatment plan for rodents. That service never happened. I tried calling their customer service line multiple times and was never able to reach anything other than voicemail. My bait boxes are full and starting to smell so I checked my account and discovered that not only was my 30 day follow up missed, my "quarterly" visit was scheduled for four months after my initial service. Not only is customer service unreachable (during regular business hours) but despite being subject to one sided contract terms, I am not receiving the service promised or contracted for.

So very disappointed with Pointe Pest Control and will never utilize their services again nor will I recommend them. My home was serviced about 1 month ago and I'm now having issues with what I think are clover mites. Was told over the phone, by a Pointe representative, that they do not guarantee treatment of clover mites and a tech would be out for my next scheduled appointment in June. That's it? Our neighbors were using Pointe Pest so we asked them to visit us too. Chris D. and his partner were very nice and mannered. Chris explained what he would be doing and answered all out questions. We have never had pest control done and have struggled with spiders and wasps every summer. We had Bryce, Tristan, and Jake from Pointe Pest Control come out and to do pest control services on my house this year and I could not have been more pleased. They but barrier on the ground, sprayed the interior of the house and wiped all the spider webs off the entire outside of the house. They also had great communication and customer service. Wasp!! Wasp in the wall of my house. Called Pointe Pest Control (because they do our regular maintenance) and was very surprised with they said "we've got this!" They put a couple of different sprays down and it was like magic they are gone. I didn't have to take down a wall or even cut a whole in the wall. This is the third day and I see no wasp. I have been a customer of Pointe Pest for a few years now. Always such friendly and awesome service! We are on a quarterly spray basis for the outside of the house, and when we switched houses we had a bit of a red ant problem. They came out multiple times (within days of calling) and treated the areas free of charge (awesome service or what?!)! I will never recommend any other pest control. You guys rock! read more
