My dog was sick and made a real mess on one of the carpets. I called to get a quote from Zerorez. I was told they had a four room special for $165.00. Because of the pet mess it would be an additional $50.00. I was fine with that and scheduled an appointment. I was expecting to pay approximately $250.00 with taxes etc. I was shocked when they were done and handed me a bill for their service $835.00. The guy did a great job, carpets look new, however the quote was only 1/4 of the actual cost. I will watch and see if these spots bleed back through. There is supposed to be to be a 30 day guarantee (I wonder if it's really free). I called their office to let them know how unhappy I was with the quote being so far off and was told they can't see my carpet therefore additional steps may need to be done. I have never had a quote to be this far off. No real explanation and certainly no apology offered. For this reason I won't be recommending them to family and friends. read more

Now she is having to hire an additional contractor to fix what they left broken. Pretty crappy because now she is having to pay over twice what they charged her. The contractor is saying they broke the fixture. Would not recommend this business to anyone. Wouldn't you think that you would leave something the way you found it as a professional business? I wouldn't give Zerorez one star for the horrible job that they did cleaning the carpet in my two bedrooms. I have nice cream colored Berber carpet and they left it patterned with brown streaks and squares. I was told the reason it looked bad was because it was wet and after it dried if I still wasn't happy with how it looked they would come back and clean it again. They should have cleaned it the right way on the first visit. They pulled up in front of my house at 8am. They did a walk through of my two bedrooms and brought their equipment in. They spent less than 10 min in each room. Then they took their equipment back out, brought in their paperwork and got my check and pulled away from my house at 8:52am. Incompetent and untrained employees. They should be embarrassed that they did not return my check. They are not going to be happy with the advertising I do for them and I will NEVER have them in my house again. read more

I had them clean our carpet. Our carpet was only a few years old and has been cleaned previously with no issue. Zerorez came in and upped the price of their special with add one. I'm convinced all the ads one merely made the carpet twice as wet as should have been. I called them the next day when the carpet was still damp and stretched out. They only said to wait and see when it was completely dry. The following day and I was in the hospital and in and out for several months after. I called again and they said to take pictures and email the pictures to them. I did this. I have never had a reply either via email or phone from them. I would give Zerorez a zero if I could. They were contracted by the previous homeowner to clean the HVAC ducts (per home sales agreement). When we got into the house - a month after zerorez purportedly serviced the home - there was visible long term filth on the ceiling return grate (only one in the house) and the duct walls. Also the house smelled like rotten fish. We narrowed down the source of the smell to the HVAC. These were major red flags that they couldn't be trusted to redo the job, so we contracted another company. The volume of dust, chunks of debris, and mouse feces that came out was disturbing. I contacted them seeking reimbursement for their failure to perform. I explained the situation to a manager, and they said they would contact me the next day. One of the more notable statemtents they made was "if we were in the business of offering full refunds, we wouldn't be in business very long." Instead of following up with me directly, the manager had their sales rep reach out with an offer of $90 in credit towards future services. I said no thanks because I will never welcome any rep back in my house based on their lack of skill, professionalism, integrity, or ethics. I demanded a refund after my carpet turned yellow and the "General Manager" I spoke to is a joke, she doesn't know ANYTHING about carpet cleaning and was extremely combative when I asked for a refund. She said she could have a "tech" come back out and this time I decided to be there with my wife when he showed up. I told him I knew all about the PH and how carpets turn yellow after a cleaning and all he did was clean over it again with the same exact cleaning agent he used last time! No change at all. I told him he needs to use an acid to drop the PH and he didn't even know what I was talking about and he doesn't carry anything on his truck to remedy the issue. I told him to leave and I called back the office and got the same treatment from the General Manager. I told them to keep the 180$ I'll just leave them a review showing how incompetent they are! She kindly said "that was fine" so here I am! When the tech came out, he upsold my husband something that would deal with any pet odors caused by the cleaning. There were no odors at the time, but apparently the cleaning could bring up odors. Since we knew the previous owners had pets, we paid the additional price and were told they would retreat if we had any issues. A few days later the rooms and carpets started to smell. We called back and were told that they would have to come reassess the situation for retreatment, starting at $65 per room. They would not be able to tell me the exact price until they came out. So, after nearly doubling the price I was initially quoted and causing issues, now they want more $$$ to maybe fix the problem. I would recommend avoiding this company. read more

I was happily surprised at the results of the Zerorez solution to my carpet. They removed most stains I thought couldn't be removed. There were a couple they couldn't but I didn't expect them too because they are not miracle workers or priests performing an exorcism. Which it what one stain would require. Hired Zerorez to clean rental home with pet stains- after 2 attempts with all stains remaining and charges over $500 they tried to get me to use extraction at $69 per gallon stating the stains were in the pad. I ended up hiring a local company and they were able to get all the stains out, scotch guard the carpet and GUARANTEE their work. When I called Zerorez back to tell them the technician wanted to use extraction and how another company cleaned the entire house for 1/3 of the price, they said I could have 1 free cleaning to make up for their technician's mistake, as they had fired him a few days before. Then lied saying I agreed to the free cleaning after wanting their money up front. Never using this company again. Mom and pop companies are the way to go! read more
