I had holes in my walls where there didn't need to be, tiles that his tiler couldn't figure out how to center on the wall....MY personal favorite was when one of his guys installed the medicine cabinet with a faucet that blocked it from opening. Rather than point that out - the guy kept installing it - pointing to it (he doesn't speak English!) and laughing! The T11 on the outside of the house got installed at 7 pm on a friday night because I casually asked if they could put up plastic or something, it was December! And it was the WRONG SIZE!~ A few months after I kicked him out and said ENOUGH an electrician went to move a switch location and discovered ALL the can lights needed replaced because they weren't attached - just propped into the ceiling...($$KaChing$$). Then we discovered the toilet leaked...when that got pulled up we discovered water up under the tile, to chip that up we discovered the wiring for the heated flooring installed right to the edge - and it got broken - the WHOLE less than one year old marble floor had to come out and be replaced. ($$$KaChing$$$). AND, he left a broken ceiling heater behind we had to pay to dump. My contractor friend offered to be a go between with him to get resolution going and got nothing but drug along when he realized he needed to pay for the damages. After 2 months of blow off I filed small claims and won a judgement. I turned it into the insurance company and he won't authorize it. Moving on to lien on his house and business.
