No complaints so far. Fast and efficient - although xmas time is pretty crazy - may want to consider extra staff - waited an hour in line

First time user. Considering I had to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes in their line-up on a Saturday morning, I am in a pretty good mood. Part of the reason was because I was standing between two very pleasant people and the weather was mild. More importantly, I lucked out and actually got my package. UPS showed that my item was delivered on Thurs 2 pm and Sam signed. On Friday, I still had not received email so I called. Amber advised that my item had not been processed. Asked me to wait until late afternoon and to call if I did not receive email. At 5:30 pm, I still had not received an email so I called. Amber said all of the Thurs UPS had been processed, but my item does not show up. She said maybe my name was not on the shipping label and it has been returned to sender. Now, I am nervous because UPS shows delivered, not returning. Amber said she will look for it. BTW, Amber was very pleasant to deal with. Next morning, Saturday, I still had not received an email. I read the negative feedbacks and became concerned that I may never get the email. According to the internet, there was no border line-up (wrong!) so I decided to take a chance and go down (I only live 15 mins from border). Southbound border line-up was halfway down the hill (at least 1 hour). So I parked at Deifenbaker Park and walked over. The northbound border line-up was all the way down to P2P (could also be an hour). When I finally got to the counter (1hr 45 min), their computer still did not show my delivery. I told them my conversation with Amber. About 5 minutes later, Amber showed up with my package. She says turns out there was a pallet from the Thursday UPS delivery which had not yet been processed. The guy behind me says he has been picking up about once a month always on Saturdays for about two years and usually there is a very short line-up. Everybody in the line-up thinks the long line-up was due to the post Black Friday and pre Xmas rush and the recent Letter Carrier shut down. PRO: so close to border that you can walk and by pass the border line-ups. CON: need more workers for busy time. PS. I finally got the P2P email after i already picked up my item. LOL. read more

I have used Point to Point's service for a number of years now, & still remain very happy with their service! It's easy to walk to from the Canadian side if you wish. More importantly, I'm always impressed by how efficiently the business is run, & the staff is friendly & accommodating-even in the busiest Christmas season when it can be a bit busy. They are willing to explain info that you need & answer questions. Keep up the great work!:) read more

Got a e-mail when product arrived, no issues. Picked it up a few days later and had no issues. Actually better than expected. Friday afternoon and no line-up as pictured below. Line up at the border was about 20 minutes, but not at P2P. Walked right in and presented my paper copy of e-mail and that's all. In and out in under 5 minutes... Person behind the counter was nice enough. I guess the hours of operation could be alittle better. But I knew signing up with P2P the hours. Thanx P2P. read more

Occasionally there's a wait, but usually I only have to wait for the customer in front of me to be served. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the price/parcel, late fees and location are better than any of the other Point Roberts options I looked at before setting up my account with Point to Point. read more

I have been using Point to Point for a few years already because it is so convenient to ship things there and then just zip across the border to pick them up. Because it is in the US, you can get much faster shipping times, and usually free shipping to boot! read more

I have been dealing with P2P for a number of years now and in each of my transactions the staff have been both courteous and professional. Being so close to the border there is a level of convenience that I appreciate and with that in mind, their fees seem very reasonable. Additionally, and as a result of this service, I've saved hundreds of dollars in duties and taxes over the years. The only thing that keeps me from offering (5) stars is that their hours of business do not offer the same level of flexibility as some of the competition. However, if you don't mind pickups that are Monday to Saturday with a cut-off of 6:00 PM, then I would have no reservations about recommending this outlet... read more

I just started using Point to Point about 6 months ago. I love them. Every time I've ordered a parcel for pick up (about 7 or 8 times now) they've been friendly and courteous. Whenever the item has been heavy, the staff has brought it out to my car and either loaded it for me or helped me to load it. Such a relief. Can't imagine why some of these reviews describe the staff as unfriendly. Everyone I've dealt with has been capable and amiable. They're a great crew. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. 1) Their staff are always cranky and miserable. I used to use the Letter Carrier before they shut down and I actually looked forward to seeing the staff there! At Point2Point, you aren't even acknowledged with a hello or a smile when you enter. Granted, you are here to pick up a package so who cares if they are friendly with you BUT if I can bring my business somewhere where I feel appreciated, then I am going to. 2) Their processing times (from when they receive it to when they email you) and wait lines to pickup are much slower than other providers I used. Again, who cares if you aren't in a rush to get your package and don't mind wasting your whole day at this place. 3) They charge fees for box disposal and printing pages if you forget to print your invoice at home. Meh, but yet another X over a +. 4) Now, the WORST for last. I contacted them by phone (my phone bill as my proof) to let them know that I was travelling abroad and could not pick up my shipment within their 60 days before-they-dispose-of-it guidelines. It had been there for maybe a month by this point. The employee told me not to worry that given I have made contact with them, they will not dispose of it. I was fine paying the 30 cent a day charge until I could come in at a later date. The employee said that even if they do not hear from a customer they try reaching customers multiple times via multiple methods and failing that they return to sender. The conversation gave me confidence that they don't even dispose of packages. Their website states "Point to Point Parcel Inc will make every reasonable effort to advise the "Registered Receiver"." One time at the Letter Carrier (another reciever), the fire marshall told them they were overstocked so my shipment got sent back to a supplier named X. Supplier X didn't notify me of this returned shipment, there was just a credit on my account the next time I re-ordered that shipment. After making contact with P2P to advise of my travel plans, my travel plans extended much longer than expected. However, I did not worry about this parcel because I had assumed it would have been returned to sender. I called supplier when I got back into town to place a new order (expecting a credit on my account) only to find out there was not one. I called P2P and they advised my shipment (valued at $241 US) was destroyed around the 90 day mark. The manager claimed I was essentially lying and said there was no record of me calling. If that was the case why would my phone records show long distance charges to this place? I had no other incoming shipments. And NO, I did not just call to say "hi!". I called to say I am going out of the country and am short on time to get this, can you hold it and I will pay any fees. I was advised by YOUR employee that this would be returned to sender if it extended too long. In the manager's defence she advised me they sent me emails that said storage is accruing at 30 cents a day. This is true, I did receive these automated emails that were identical in nature. NEVER did they email me to say "Final Notice: Your Package is Going to be Disposed Of"! My preferred method of communication on my profile is email. Instead of advising me via email of their intentions they left one voicemail message stating I had a package there (essentially repeating the same automated email message). They DID NOT advise me that the package was going to be disposed of. Automated emails and 1 call (presumedly just a reminder call) in my opinion do not equate to "reasonable effort". I had called a month prior and no communications from them since then had a sense of urgency, so I didn't worry much about their call. When they opened up my package they should have seen an invoice that had significant value - wouldn't you think again that given I had been a long time customer that spent a decent amount of $ there that you could give me some proper notice??? They refused to offer any sort of compensation. No compromise, not even covering half of the lost cost. The manager accused me of lying about their employee, saying they would never say that as returning the shipment is impossible. Hypothetically, even if I was lying, that doesn't change the fact that I called in and your employee messed up by not taking record of that phone call. The manager said they wouldn't have disposed of it had I made contact with them - TO WHICH I RESPONDED I DID (as per my phone records). BEWARE: I told them if my only voice and recourse is a review online, then that is what I will do to let other customers know about how this business conducts themselves. She responded by telling me the owner has advised her he intends to do the same to me. I lost it on her at this point, because him leaving a bad review on my company is UNACCEPTABLE. I am their customer, he is not mine. I will blast this business in court if they attempt to leave a bad review on my business. Shame on you for your business practices! read more

I've used point to point parcel consistently since last year, after switching from TSB. I've always had a pleasant experience with the customer service until yesterday. Now, what I experienced was extreme rudeness and point-blank sarcasm. I don't want to make it sound like all the staff are rude, because they've always been nice and friendly, but just this one woman in particular--an old woman with grey hair and glasses. Apparently, she was pissed off with me for having a lot of packages to pick up (I pick up packages for not only myself but family and friends. It all just happens to be registered under my name). Now, there were 3 obvious instances of sarcasm: 1) Before she headed to the back to retrieve all my parcels, she exclaimed, 'Let me go get your...PILE.. of packages' with blatant emphasis on the word 'Pile'. 2) Right after her 'pile' comment, she went on to say 'How many are there, like, 20?!', knowing full well that it was an exaggeration. 3) After calculating the fees I had to pay, she made this REALLY loud whistle. Obviously, another attempt to display her disgust towards me just because I had a lot of parcels to pick up. (seriously?) Now, I acknowledge that I dont pick up my parcels as promptly as I should (should I even apologize for that? I thought that courier services such as these would be expecting to hold on to packages for a while by charging fees--that IS pretty much how they earn their money; fair enough. I won't ever complain. Moreover, your clientele are mostly (if not entirely) foreign, so it should be expected that they aren't able to make a trip down as frequently as locals could. Also, yes, my packages were there for longer than they should be (But again, who sets these standards for what's right and wrong? Are there really rules that dictate what's right and wrong here? Am I really offending anyone by not coming 'on time'?) I mean, FFS, I don't have all the time in the world to cross the border as and when I wanted to. It's just inconvenient for me. Is that wrong? And I am fully aware of how much I'd have to pay--I have never ONCE complained because I expect to have to pay the appropriate fees. I pay the penalties for my 'bad' habits, all's fair. Her behavior really left me dumbfounded. I was not alone that day. I asked my boyfriend, who was present at the scene with me, if I was just over-thinking things, but he agreed 100% that she was being downright rude and unreasonable. I kept reflecting on why she'd be pissed off at me--I'm sorry, how much harder did I make your job, exactly? By adding an extra pound for you to carry as you lug my *PILE* of packages out from the back? Honestly, it's people like me (yes, these abhorrent people who don't come on time and have a ton of stuff to pick up each time) who keep your business going. I paid about $150 worth of charges--which I deem fair, because I knew fully what to expect--in just that one visit. That equates to about 40 customers who pick up their packages on time, and only pick up one package each. I'm pretty sure I'm making it pretty obvious who I am. From the way the woman treated me, she made it seem like I was practically infamous in the entire establishment. Do I care? Not really. *** Guys, switch to 24/7 parcel in Blaine. They're open 24/7 so you can make a trip down at your own convenience and won't get major attitude for not being able to pick up your parcels at their operating hours. read more

I've been using their service for years now and their service has always been slow. (But friendly) They only have 2 kiosks to serve you and only one side can ship out. So if the left side is taking a while, they won't be able to help you until that particular counter is free if you're looking to ship anything out. Now only recently have they become extremely busy due to the closure of another popular local parcel service. P2P needs to have more counters because there is always literally more than 15 people waiting throughout the day. Today marks the last time I will be using their service as there is a new parcel pick up business that opened up that uses 24/7 lockers. I rather pay 25cents more than wait up to 45 minutes to be served. Until they revamp their operations, I will not be coming back. read more

Then tried Point to Point, and love it! Staff are much friendlier, very helpful with returns, the place is light and clean, and their prices are fair. Smooth, efficient,and speedy transaction for a package under 25lbs. They even offer payment in US or Canadian funds! An email notification was sent to me that my package had arrived picked, so I picked it up during my lunch hour break. There was a bit of wait at the US border in the regular lanes, but in the Nexus lane there was only a 2-3 car wait. Once arrived at P2P no wait, no issues with picking up the parcel. I changed to this place because of the occasional bad line up at the border. Each time I realize the line is bad (half way back to the park is bad) I park on the street by the park and walk. Each time I have done this I have made a point to see where I would have been in line and 8 out of 10 times I have been on my way back through customs to go home before the guy ahead of me was getting to the US side to go down. This place has a location that is perfect! Get some exercise, beat the traffic, save gas, get home sooner. All of this and the service is fast, polite, easy. I don't know why everyone does not go there? I guess they don't like change. Well if you are looking for a new place then go here. Oh yes the photos are very misleading as in the past two years I think I have only been in a line of 5 people once (but I have never been there at peak times). The first shot is the place you go to pay and get the smaller stuff. The second warehouse door shot is just around the corner (20m walk) and it is for big stuff like tires or say a box the size of a microwave. read more

Professional, friendly and efficient - works for me! I registered with them before my parcel was due to arrive. They emailed me when the parcel arrived (Saturday). I went there on Monday morning and picked up my parcel. They were not busy so I was helped almost immediately. Paid my fee (in Canadian $ - no problem) and left with the parcel. They are located just south of the border, and have ample parking. The complaint I read about the long wait and long line would probably apply to Saturday, and approaching a holiday (such as Christmas). Their hours are convenient enough, although closed Sunday (everyone needs a day of rest). This is my second time with them and I will use them again. read more
