Very efficient at 945am on a Saturday for the twenty minute ferry to Vashon. Clean efficient and quick. $25 for two seniors +1 and our car.

    Beautiful views

We paid around $30 for the 3 of us, round trip. When you arrive, just get in a lane with your vehicle. Vehicles will enter in order of arrival. Fine for those who cut so please don't. If you don't make it on the ferry, then you'll have to wait for the next one. Have your tickets available, online or printed. While you're waiting, there's a cafe and eateries nearby. Once on Anderson island, there's a general store, museum, gift shop, sometimes garden market and other events, a couple of lakes, Air B&Bs. Definitely popular during the weekend so plan accordingly. When heading back on the ferry, line up the same way you arrived. If you're lucky an ice cream truck may stop by, otherwise not much to keep people occupied.

Rates are shown with discounts for seniors and children. Your ticket is 'round trip, so be sure to hang on to it if printed. Once you arrive, be sure to get your car in line (lines 1-2) and await directions to drive on. The trip to Anderson Island is about 20 minutes, time enough for you to leave your car and go up top for pictures or to stretch your legs. There's a cabin area with tables that you can sit at and eat a snack if you brought one. There's also a convenience store and a park close by the port if you get there early.

We scored street parking nearby and was free on a Sunday, next visit I plan to send the car over too, to Bainbridge Island. The Seattle Island Ferry provides ferry service between Seattle and Bainbridge island. The Washington State Ferries operate this route, with departures from Pier 52. The ferry ride/trip takes about 35 mins over to Bainbridge, departures starts at 5:30am and runs frequently throughout the day. Purchasing tickets, ($11.05 ) and boarding was quick and smooth. We sure enjoyed our round trip Ferry Ride, and loved the stunning, scenic views across Puget Sound, got a nice glimpse of Mt. Rainier, and even saw some wildlife sightings. truly amazing experience. The only junk part is not having enough time, I recommend starting out first thing in the morning so you have more time to explore Bainbridge Island. I want to go back on the ferry again, "the tomorrow is never promise, enjoying life moments," so grateful. Thank you to my phone for tracking me!
