The called about 40 minutes before the start time to let me know their ETA, which was actually about 10 minutes before the arrival window started so we were off to a great start. Moving day is always nerve-wracking and adding strangers into the mix can be unpredictable, but they both took the time to introduce themselves by name and were so polite, kind, and calm right off the bat that it was a huge relief. We did a quick walkthrough of the house and they asked for clarifications or more information at times, which was great because I felt like they were really listening and paying attention to my comments and concerns. Then the move itself was smooth and uneventful. I didn't have any concerns about my furniture because I saw them wrapping everything up securely. At one point, a screw came loose from one of my table legs. Alpha found me to ask if I knew about any issues with the legs on that table. I told him it was a second-hand table so I wasn't sure, but asked if it was a big issue. He said no, and that he could put the screw back in, but he wanted other make sure I knew it had happened. I know that's partially because they don't want to be blamed for something they didn't do, but I still appreciated that they called it to my attention right away so there weren't any issues or questions later, and that he was able to fix it for me. Once we got to the new place, they took the time to ask where I wanted specific furniture or boxes to go in my new place so that I wouldn't have to move it all to a different room later. They wrapped up just a little ahead of the estimated time and it was super convenient to pay with Venmo. All-in-all it was a great experience and I'd use them again if I'm moving in the area.

I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. But the cube does hold a lot more that you think -- if you know how to pack properly. Drop off and pick up were both super easy. The dispatch centers are very responsive and pleasant to talk to. Their travel time estimation was pretty accurate. My belongings arrived as I packed it, some had damage which was entirely MY fault -- I should have wrapped absolutely everything. Long story short, great service, great company to work with, fast/quick responses, and affordable (in my opinion). The cost of this was less than half what it would've cost me to move that far with a full service moving company (they pack the truck and drive for you) and half the cost of PODS although I believe the PODS company has different size cubes.

Though the reviews for A Best Twin Movers are mediocre, I went with them anyways because this was a last minute move for me. And Norman was incredibly professional and was happy to take on this move. The 2 movers arrived at the exact scheduled time and did a superb job with moving all of our items. What we were moving was equivalent to a 1bdr apt and going into a storage unit. They were very careful with all of the furniture and the fragile items. Norman even called the day before to confirm everything with me. They were speedy and cheap! Such a great price compared to other places I called. They don't charge for mileage or tack on driving fees, but do have a 3 hour minimum (which is nicely competitive though in comparison to other companies that have a 4 hour minimum). And when it was all said and done, I was charged exactly what I was quoted on the phone and quoted in my estimate (which btw, the estimate is very thorough and clear.) I definitely appreciate every aspect of this move, the professional customer service, the thorough and clear paperwork, and the efficiency of the movers; especially after having a recent bad experience with Travelstead, who tacked on insurance and driving fees in the end, and charged for a 4 hour minimum.
