Pods is quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. That first sentence is all you need to know to not use this service, but I will give some examples. Just from the beginning it was horrible. I got a quote from pods and everything was set. I then get charged more money then was on a written and signed quote. After this problem was fixed with 4 phone calls, I got my pod dropped off at my home. The delivery drivers were very good. They ensured my pod was put exactly where I wanted it. The pod was dropped, filled, and picked up with zero hassle. I was in the process of selling my home and buying a new home. Speaking with the customer service person, I was informed I did not need to put a moving address as I didn't know where I was moving to, so I put the same address as pick up (the house I was selling) per the customer service request. Pods held on to my items for about five months until I found a house to buy. In those five months I had zero problems with paying them and everything was fine. Now here comes the fun. I called 1 month prior to delivery to my new home, because I wanted to give ample time for delivery. I talked to 3 customer services reps and they all said "we don't deliver to your address" ummm what? I moved about 40ish miles away from my old home and pods told me they could not deliver. The only option I was given was to rent a truck and come pick up my stuff at the storage facility. This pods company that can deliver all over the U.S according to the website, can't deliver 40 miles away. Finally I talked to someone that knew something and was told it was a mistake. Pods is able to deliver to my address. Perfect I thought! Man I was wrong again. I was then informed the only way pods could deliver is if they loaded my pod on an big rig truck, drive it 10 miles PAST my location drop it at another facility, and have the pods truck deliver to my address for an additional $600. Honestly I thought the person was making a joke. Sadly they were not. I then spoke to a "Resolution team" so they could work with me. I told them I signed a contract that had no mention of extra charges at delivery. No mention of pods not being able to deliver. The wonderful gentleman by the name of lyle woods I spoke with on the "resolution team" told me that each pods facility is a franchise owner, and they "aren't allowed" to drive past their territory. Mr woods was quite possibly the worst employee I dealt with. Virtually zero communication for an entire month. Yup no signed contract, no verbal communication saying they charge extra to deliver further then 20 miles, nothing. In short, my pods container with my entire house packed was being held hostage while I tried to figure out this whole payment thing. In the end I had them deliver for an extra $600ish as I'm sure a lot of other people do, because who is going to rent a truck and drive to get their stuff? Finally mr woods contacted me and said sorry for the mix-up but here's $200 off the cost "to make it right" I told them I filed a complaint with my credit card company, and never heard anything back from the "resolution team" My credit card company gave me my money back after contacting them. Not sure what goes into that, but either way I received my money. Please read other reviews like mine before giving this company any business. read more

Update: I received no condolences nor proration of the monthly rental, and they were unable to accommodate my move-in date three weeks ahead. Apparently, you need to schedule your Pods drop-off months in advance if you want to no be charged the the entire month for only two weeks of storage, which is difficult if you're looking for an apartment. I very much commend the hard work that the driver did to ensure our Pods container storage could open as contents have definitely shifted during transportation. As for the admin side of things, I'd give this a negative star rating if I could. read more

I called up PODS for a quote on an out of state move. I had to give my credit card and pick a date even though I explained we were not sure if the date for the move or even if we wanted to use a moving company. The quote was too much in our opinion and never heard another word. This was in June that I got the quote. Fast forward August 24 a pod showed up in our driveway. I was in Europe and my husband called to alert me. I called PODS immediately and questioned as to why this POD was in my driveway. They admitted it was a mistake and would pick it up. I have called everyday since then and the pod is still here and in our way. I called once again this morning upon my return from Europe. Supposedly they are going to pick it up... this is day 8. I moved from TX to OR. Everything went as requested except that I had my pod loaded at the facility and needed to add a few things a couple of hours later. I called to let them know I was on my way (within business hours) and told I could not access my pod again. I was also charged a fuel or something fee I was not informed of after my move was completed. However, my pod was ready to be loaded when it was promised, delivered when promised, and picked up promptly. For this I'm very happy. I'm about to need them again and pray I will get the same on time service. read more

I'm a bit skeptical about pods. I called for a quote and was given a price. I did a chat with an agent again a week or so later ordering the same unit and I was quoted a price that was $500 more than the week before. I would think that the price would be the same. I don't like the idea that the price is different depending on who you speak with. When I questioned the agent the chat was immediately ended. A bit fishy. I'm going with someone else. read more

My items were damaged in June while Pods decided to relocate my Pods. The first time I had conversation with Daniel the guy in claims was on October 21st. I call him several times a day for 3 1/2 weeks and still no reply. I found out the day of the delivery that my Pods was damaged and items of my my son that was killed in a tragic hate crime. read more

1 star only because it's the lowest I can put. I have used PODS twice, and both times it has been horrible. Their customer service is some of the worst I have ever dealt with. They constantly charge you even after your account is closed. We moved from Florida to Tennessee and requested our stuff be sent up. they informed us they couldn't deliver to our address and we would have to empty the pod on site at their facility. I paid the $2500 for them to move it and a month of storage in TN. They gave me the date it would be available, and we rented a uhaul to get our stuff. When we got to the facility, we were informed our stuff was still in Fl! It had not been shipped. So we spent hundreds of dollars to rent a truck and drive 2 hours away for nothing. They got the stuff to us 2 weeks later and that should have been it, but it wasn't. They called 2 weeks ago to let us know they would refund us over $700. Then a week ago they called asking why they owed us money. Today they tried to take over $400! When I called they told us that there was nothing they could do because my account was in collections! PODS are illegal on public city streets in Los Angeles, something they fail to tell you since they're too busy taking your money. Additionally, since their main rental office is based out of Florida, they have no idea what kind of rules or permitting is required...so I paid almost 3k for their guy to come to my house and say "I can't leave this here"...and when I asked him for help or solutions his response was "I've gotta go"... PODS was quick to refund me, but took no responsibility despite 3 recorded phone calls of their associates giving me incorrect information...now I get to stay in my apartment an extra week, change my start date by a week at my new job, and also pay an extra 5k to an actual professional moving company. PODS response? Blame me for not being aware of permitting...despite the fact that YOU CANNOT GET A PERMIT BECAUSE THEY AREN'T ALLOWED ON THE STREETS OF LA. Next, they're "retraining" their employees...cool, doesn't really do me much good. read more

When I originally booked our PODS containers, I ordered two 16 foot containers with a third 7 foot container on standby in case we needed the extra space. I was told that if I called the day before it was scheduled to be dropped off, they could cancel the POD delivery and charge. On Monday, November 9th, I called around 11:30 am CST to cancel the 7 foot container that was scheduled to be delivered to our Texas address on Tuesday, November 10th. I was told that it was successfully canceled. I also scheduled the arrival and drop off of the two 16 foot containers to our Ohio address. I was told that the containers would arrive to the Ohio storage center on November 20th and that they would be dropped off at our new address in Marengo on November 21st. Our two 16 foot containers were already scheduled to be picked up from our Texas property on Tuesday, November 10th. With everything scheduled, my family and I started our drive from Texas to Ohio on Monday, November 9th.  On the evening of Tuesday, November 10th, my old neighbor in Texas informed me that our two 16 foot containers were gone from our Texas property, but the smaller 7 foot container had been delivered. It was after hours for PODS at the time, so I was unable to call. I called PODS first thing in the morning on Wednesday, November 11th. The agent I spoke to then scheduled the incorrectly delivered 7 foot container to be picked up on Thursday, November 12th. She also asked me if I wanted to scheduled drop off of my two 16 foot containers to our Ohio address. I was confused because on Monday, I had been told that they were already scheduled. I told her the containers were supposed to arrive in Ohio on November 20th and scheduled for drop off at our new home on the 21st. She informed me that this was not done. When the agent attempted to try to schedule the PODS for drop off, she informed me that the containers would still arrive in Grove City on November 20th, but couldn't be delivered until December 1st because of lack of availability of the Ohio storage facility. Disgruntled, I scheduled delivery for December 1st since that was the first available date, but was told that PODS would attempt to expedite the delivery. I was told to follow up in three days if i hadn't heard anything by then. I then called on Saturday, November 14th to follow up and was told that still, nothing had been expedited. The agent told me that logistics had been contacted to schedule transit sooner, but that the Ohio PODS location hadn't been contacted about scheduling an earlier delivery of the containers to our new address. She informed me that this should have been done when I talked to PODS back on November 11th, but again, it wasn't done.  This entire affair has been incredibly frustrating as we are moving across the country with a 7 month old baby. There are things that would make caring for our baby much easier located in the PODS and we are being told that we have to continue going without these items. I have spent multiple hours on the phone with different PODS agents and keep getting told that I "just have to wait" and that "delivery is scheduled for December 1st." I am not at all happy with the way PODS has handled this situation. Its unacceptable and I would NEVER recommend anyone use them. read more

I am being charged over 1200 to go 50 miles. This has been the worst company I have dealt with. I have had different quotes. I knew I was moving to citrus county I just didn't know where the agent for pods stated just put a zip code in you can change it.i went online put zip in so after pod has been at my house for 6 weeks I called and stated the zip and they stated it is now a long distance move ( 15 miles from original zip) so now instead of 160 they have to transport my pod ( past my house) to ocala wait a week then deliver it back to crystal river. I was told instead of original it's now 670. Well they just charged my credit card over a 1000 and it's not even to ocala. I'm moving due to a divorce my mom is very ill how can a company add so much stress and be so dishonest. read more

Do not use them. They will hold your stuff hostage and drop it off when they feel like it. They will change dates with no notice to you and hold your house's worth of stuff and give you no recourse or control on getting it. First, I ordered a single large pod since I was assured that it would fit a 2 bedroom apartment and I didn't even have a couch. It did not. 2/3'rds of my stuff fit so I had to emergency order a 2nd day of my move which they delivered and it was a beat up wooden barely held together one I'm praying my humidity bucket keeps from molding. First delivery driver was very nice and had no issues. The 2nd drop off driver blamed me for loading the pod the wrong way (apparently someone is supposed to ask you that. No one did.) and they would have to turn it around to put it in a parking space. They were going to have the door facing trees and a parking bump because they didn't want to take 5 minutes to turn it around. It took me ten minutes of pleading to get them to do it. Now that I'm at my new place, it's 3 days late on delivery with a million different reasons why. Not from the actual storage location, they have not called me once and keep changing the dates on the order without a word and I only find out because I'm checking wondering where my things are. They leave notes on the order for the customer service reps to tell us. Below is a list of the reasons given by either the notes or the reps. "Truck broke down" "Wait, 2 trucks broke down" "We can get another truck from a different location to come if they can't deliver" "Actually, we can't do that since the nearest place is 120 miles away." "We guarantee it will be delivered tomorrow. We put you on priority for Saturday." "Sorry, no we don't deliver on Saturdays and will be out all of next week." And that's not all because I didn't include the half a dozen times I was told I would be called/texted/emailed with a delivery time or update and never was. Apparently, I'm crazy because they keep leaving "voicemails" I never get explaining to me what's going on and apologizing. Weird how I get every other call/voicemail but not theirs. Asked to speak to a supervisor, they don't exist. A "resolution specialist" will email you days after the complaint. About on par with the delivery service. They charge thousands for this. Thousands. Not to mention, the final amount they charge you will be thousands over the quote. Now I'm afraid once I actually get the containers how long it will take them to pick them up because I have no doubt I'll get charged for them not feeling like getting them. This is assuming I ever get them. Customer service is a complete crap shoot. One time, I'll get a helpful person who seems like they know what they are doing and help me figure everything out. Next person doesn't seem to understand me and just reads off script. The 10th person was terse and rude and put me on hold for a solid 6 minutes because they didn't like that I was upset that my delivery will be over a week late. The last person we talked to was very nice and tried to help but again couldn't do anything. He offered us $100 for our inconvenience. That's like buying a $200 dinner that gives you food poisoning and the restaurant offering to give you ten cents off your bill as an apology. They can keep the ten cents. Will never use them again. Will go out of my way to tell anyone I know that is moving that they are better off strapping their stuff to the top of their car and just holding on with their fingers than using Pods. I will be putting this review on every site/place that I possibly can. Seriously, do not use them. Renting a moving truck on your own cross country is daunting but this is a nightmare and not worth the thousands they will charge you. read more

SO after manager got involved due to my lost pod, I was given a credit and taken off of autopay and have email to prove it. She apologized for 20 minutes. Here I am today, they forgot to pick up pod 2x, ( again apologies,) I have broken items bec pod was literally upside when I looked inside, and lastly... I was charged 2x more/...~$220 and then ~$350. Again, manager apologized for 20 minutes and didnt know how that happened since she took me off autopay. NO following up, no communication between the facilities and management. I emailed the company on December 15th to let them know that I had chosen another moving company. My credit card was charged on February 15th for $1,396 dollars. I never signed or agreed to anything. I called the company, and the representative said that the company policy is to ignore emails sent to them, and that the only way to cancel was with a phone call. They cancelled the order and said they would refund the charge, but the experience was aggravating and very unprofessional. If their policy is not to respond to emails, their customers should know about this and not waste their time. As of this time, I am waiting for the reversal on my credit card. Also, if it is their policy to bill a customer ahead of a service without confirming whether the customer does, if fact, want to proceed, I can only conclude that this happens a lot, and that there are many others who are wrongfully charged like me. Absolute RUBBISH! Used Pods for a move, upon opening the container, my mahogany bed was severely damaged, my leather ottoman was ripped, and a mahogany tv stand was scratched. I filed a claim, supplied photos, and waited patiently. The result? Not a penny in compensation! Apparently, this was due to 'natural shifting'...so not their fault. What is the point of their moving insurance then, if it does not cover items damaged while in their care? Thanks a lot PODS...truly underwhelming service and support...enjoy spending my money while I have to shop for new furniture. Dont Use PODs. When we moved from out of state they gave us a date for the arrival of our POD then twice moved the delivery date back, after the second time i was promised delivery. Took a day off work and the PO didn't show up at the aloted time. They promised it would be delivered. I called again. Went through several people then when i pushed about delivery they said they didnt know where my POD was. It was very stressful. Then 4 days after it was suppose to arrive we finally received our POD. They didnt offer any discount at all. Then when i gave them a bad review they tried to give me a very small discount if i removed my review. I would rather other people be aware of my experience. read more

It seems like many of the reviews here have a similar story. PODS seems to be rather quick to get you a pod delivered, but very slow to return it to you. When I scheduled my delivery on the 6th the earliest delivery was the 31st. 25 days after my request. The customer service rep actually offered me the option to bring a Uhaul truck to their facility to unpack the pod, repack it in the truck to unpack it at my new house. I should call Uhaul, they could probably make one heck of a good advertisement with that photo. Like others have said this seems very scammy to ensure that they get an extra month of rent from you before they deliver the POD. Buyer beware. I will say that their customer support has been very nice, but they don't appear to have any power to resolve the issue. They just confirm that it is the earliest date with no attempt to see if it could be brought forward. read more

Order Number: 2278285 SCHEDULED DELIVERY 8/22 1pm-4pm My scheduled window was 1-4pm. I called at 4:10 and was told they were coming. I called again and 5pm and 6pm and was told the same. When I called at 7pm, the recording said the office was closed. (Still no POD and NO contact from the company either). I stayed up to 11pm thinking they'd deliver it, until I fell asleep. I called the next morning at 6am and the agent said to call back at 8:05am when the office in my area opened. I called back at 8:05am and the agent said she got a hold of the facility and they truck had broke down the day before. They said they could drop a POD off the following day, which would be 2 DAYS after my scheduled window. I told the agent to cancel everything and refund my money. I had to scramble and find another moving company and storage facility quickly and ended up spending an additional $800. NEVER DID I RECEIVE A EMAIL, TEXT OR PHONE CALL FROM ANYONE AT POD, not one! Just had THE WORST customer service of all time with this completely incompetent company. I have no idea how they are still in business. I went online to get a quote from PODS for a friend of mine and forwarded her the quote. SHE then called the next day to book the POD giving them her name and credit card for my quote #135170147. They took HER credit card and delivered the pod to her home in Seal Beach, CA. Then she called to have the POD picked up and they said she is not the right person on the account. Even though THEY took her credit card to deliver a POD to HER house! So basically POD has MY first and last name and email address and her home address and credit card but they won't charge her credit card now and pick up the pod because her credit card is a 3rd party which they took in the beginning... WTF! So I contacted POD today and the lady in accounting was THE MOST HORRIBLE human being and threatened to hang up on me several times when I was trying to explain. I asked for a supervisor and was transferred to Tre'Vion Bryant and he too was obviously trained at the same bad customer service training center as well. I can see why POD has such horrible ratings. I would NEVER EVER use this company for anything. I never spend time to write reviews, but was absolutely compelled to do it. To feel the way they made me feel on the phone was so shocking. I'll start positive first. The convenience PODS offers was wonderful. HOWEVER, the price is ABSURD and the largest POD was enough to pack our garage and my husbands office. The rest of my 5 bedroom 3 bath house I fit into a 10x10 storage unit which cost me a 5 times LESS than my POD. Almost 900$ for moving ((3 miles down the road)) and storage ((for 6 weeks)) is absolutly ridiculous. Starters it was 405$ for my initial delivery of my POD. Then 288$ for my 1st month of storage. THEN the final 196$ delivery charge that was a surprise to me. Considering it was never even mentioned when I scheduled my final delivery. It just appeared in my banking account a few days later. THEN on top of it all I recieved a bill for ANOTHER 34$. I could have hired a mover and got 2 storage units for this price. Talk about ripping someone off during a already stressful time. Never again!!! I'd like to add the storage facility where my POD was stored was 10 miles from my house so 196$ is just mindblowing. Everything else about PODS was great. However, the good did not outweigh the price I had to pay for the service. read more

I'm so angry with this company! I'm a single mom on a budget with a fairly inflexible timeline to move (by myself) from my apartment into my first house. The POD seemed like a great idea because I could fill it on my own schedule. I had a delivery window today from 11-2. At 4pm I contacted them to make sure everything was ok. I was told that the driver was running behind but that I was still on the schedule for today. Then about an hour later, I got a message saying that my delivery had been changed to the 10th!!! That's 8 days from now! And I had already scheduled mover help for 2 hours on the 10th. So I called to cancel. They said they would refund my money in 5-7 business days! So currently, my bank account is down over $400 and I need that money to come up with a plan B. Seriously--don't waste your time or money on this dishonest, unreliable company!!! read more

DO NOT USE PODS. This is my very first yelp review after using yelp for years, and if I could rate this company zero stars, I would. Absolutely horrendous customer service and no single department is in communication with each other. My pod was supposed to arrive on June 30th. They sent me a time frame it was supposed to arrive, only for me to get a phone call after the time frame had passed saying it wasn't even in my state yet. So far, this has happened three times, with a new delivery date of August 6th. When I asked where my pod was, not a single person could give me an answer. I am living in an empty house with no furniture, being lied to day after day about when the pod will be delivered, and no one will give me an answer to any of my questions. I have filed many complaints with a promise of a call back, to either get hung up on or lied to. I am beyond frustrated with this company, and I will be arguing until the day I die for a full refund. $5000 would be better spent somewhere else. read more

I'll try to make this short. DON'T use PODS !! They give you up front pricing, for delivery and storage(local) and then charge for every other request. Pick-up of said Pods were a fee, fine ( Don't forget now they have your credit card on file),...now charged for another month of storage 11/28/23-12/27/23, OK, we have them deliver PODS 9 days into said month, yet another charge for drop-off, and one for pick-up of empty PODS. $1120.00 later the PODS are gone from driveway. They will NOT pro-rate the time of storage not used, and it cost more to pick-up the empty PODS than it did to drop off the full ones. There is NO transparency on their website. It was a hard swallow for the drop-off/pick-up fees, but no pro-rating for(storage) time unused,...they will just turn around and re-rent them ?! I can only call it shady practice and double-dipping. But hey, customer service is non-existent today, why should PODS be any different !!? Please don't ask me to discuss it on "emailsocialmedia@pods.com" as your customer service rep was quite clear..."we do not pro-rate unused time". read more

This company is horrible. I have been on the phone with them for hours trying to get my weight tickets with no resolution. I have been hung up on, passed around relentlessly, and ignored. They keep saying my issue has been passed to so and so who won't answer the phone. This is on top of all the issues I have scheduling pick up and delivery of my POD. Even when I requested to talk to a supervisor they told me I can't talk to anyone. I will never use PODs again. I am convinced that the reviews on their website are planted and not actual customers. We operate a retail furniture store and ordered an 8' X 16' Pod storage unit for temporary supplemental storage. Customer service from the original driver was exceptional, but not too impressed to their response to our unit being broken in to two nights ago. The (2) Master locks we used to secure the Pod unit were unscathed; however, as evidenced by these photos the door of the unit was crushed in to allow access to everything inside. We scrambled in the rain yesterday to unload the Pod, because we were told by their representative they could not come out to repair the door until tomorrow, 2 days after the breach. It would seem both logical and reasonable that if their storage unit was physically breached by no fault of ours, they would have an emergency response team to repair the unit immediately to protect our property contents. Do your homework before leasing one of these. It has been a nightmare for us. When they delivered the pod back in Feb it was placed in the middle of the driveway. they ended up double billing us which was very time consuming and difficult to straighten out. It is now June 21 and we have called to get it out of storage and placed at our new home. We asked for July 1, so we have called 10 days in advance, and the best they can do is July 8. The rep is more interested in securing payment, than trying to get a sooner date. Credit card is on file, no need for all this. We will NEVER do this again. I called today after selling my home in January 2020 and have paid for storage for 6 months to get a long distance price to move my belongings. The price was $600 more than it was when I asked in January! When I asked the CSR why, she said "Yeah it's higher, it's the busy season of the year"???? What does that have to do with the price? I used Pods for a move between Texas and California. One of the Pods arrived and I was able to unload everything ok. The second Pod was delayed and no one was able to give a status on it. The website is fundamentally broken and doesn't show any updates or current data. The phone help system is a disaster, made about 10 phone calls, on average lasting about 1+ hour (the longest was 2 hours including a 1 hour wait). The time from pickup to actually getting your goods is very long and the logistics chain is fundamentally broken in this company. I would strongly recommend choosing anyone else. read more

I get why these guys have a 1.5 star review average. Man I am pissed!!! The concept seemed so good, I called and asked for options, they told me there was a 16' and an 8' option. As they were very close in price I opted for the 16'. Then when I started packing I realized I really didn't have that much stuff so I called to change it to an 8'. Well the person on the phone now said it was a 7'. I thought, well that's weird, but thinking more about it I thought 7' would be enough so I said yes change it. They said fine, we will change it. A few days later when it arrived it was the 16'! I was pissed as I had flown across the country for the move and couldn't wait around for them to fix THEIR mistake. Oh and the driver (who was very nice) parked it with the door away from the house, which made no sense to me. He told me that's what he had on his forms. One of PODS big problems is their call center is in India and there is a communication break down. I told them clearly to face the door towards my house (why would anyone do different?). So basically with every option they had they delivered something other than what they said. Oh, no, they were actually there at the tail end of their delivery window. Lastly, the drive, who was helpful and disappointed with the call center with all the problems they cause, said to call their warehouse directly and they should be able to change the fee I am paying as I asked, and was approved, to have a 7' container. Well there is no way to find their number. After looking for 15 minutes I finally called the call center again and after arguing with them I finally got a number, which turned out to be the wrong number. I called back and all I could get was the same number. I surrendered and finally told my whole story to someone in India (I love Indian people by the way, it is just these call centers SUCK!) they were nice and said they would take care of it. I just opened my email from PODS and it had a nice price quote for a 16' container. F them. read more

My experience with PODS was as good as can be. I utilized their services for a total of 4 months. Out of the 4 months, my container was stored at the Compton, CA location for 1 month and on 2 separate private driveways for the others. Our POD was initially dropped off in a timely manner at our starting location. I was so impressed with the mechanics/logistics of the container drop off and maneuvering. The driver was extremely friendly and placed the container exactly where I wanted it. I received an automated phone call as well as an email the night before I scheduled the drop-off confirming the time range. Same experience goes for the pick-up (received confirmation email and phone call) and off it went to the storage facility. I had some REAL concerns after reading the reviews on here, but crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I was most worried about rodent problems and things shifting during transportation. I scheduled our container to be dropped off at our final destination (local to initial destination and their storage facility). Same as before, I received an email and phone call confirming the drop-off window. The driver positioned the container EXACTLY as I wanted for optimum unloading. Our container was EXACTLY as we had packed it. We didn't have any issues with shifting during transportation. Granted I do think that our POD was well packed, and we utilized tie-downs and straps. Nothing was damaged and everything was as we had left it. The container was picked up yesterday for the last time. Again, an email and automated phone call were received the night before confirming the window. They were about 30 minutes late this time, but no biggie since you don't have to be home for a drop-off or pick-up. I am so pleased :)! Thank you PODS for making our moving experience seamless. I utilized the online website for the initial order/contract and did all the drop-off and pick-up scheduling on there as well. I never had to interact with physical customer service so I can't speak to that portion of the business. In total, we had 2 drop-offs and 2 pick-ups. I can attest that their local services are great. Would use again, but hopefully won't be moving again any time soon. read more

It's a roller coaster of emotions, great drivers, poor customer service, lack of communication. The delivery and pick up was great. Drivers are experienced and very professional. My PODs was to be transported from California to Las Vegas. I paid for storage for a month. So I called to schedule the delivery of my PODs before the end of the month so I don't get charge an additional month. I called on June 30th. The rep proceeded to booked my delivery for the 28 of July. And he said I wasn't going to get charged. Then he told me that something was wrong with my PODS and he couldnot complete the booking of my delivery. I was upset and worry. I called several times for a period of 5 days.They made me wait, hang up on me, promised they call back. I was not even rude at them. I was able to see the status of my PODs container online but orbits gone. It says I have no containers. At this point I wanted to know if my container was fine! Only this nice lady Mae Amodia did tell me that the POD was in transit to Vegas and she will emailed them and ccd me the emails. It took a whole week, and now I will be charged. I will be moving to my new house on July 16 and I only have a suitcase and some kitchen supplies. I have to buy an air mattress. Corporate needs to do something. I still appreciate the 2 drivers who delivered and picked up my Pods, and customer service specialist Mae who did take her time to explain and help me. I will not use PODS again. If you can find other moving or storage options, do so. Our dates keep getting pushed back, increasing the amount for Pod rental fees. We can't change the insurance coverage once you make an initial increase. Our Pod leaks and after two weeks, they still haven't contacted me for a solution. I've contacted Pods four times for payment compensation for the two month delay in delivery. Each time I do so they state that a rep. will contact me within 24-48 business hours - I haven't had one call back. Once this company has you locked in, all customer support is disregarded and you are left powerless with a faulty product. read more
