The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever I have questions or need an item put on hold. One thing I especially appreciate is how kind everyone is, including the security guards. The two usual security guards are always so sweet and have even grabbed my cart for me or put it away when I'm heading out. Small gestures like that really make a difference and make the store feel welcoming. Sometimes I'll take my dog in because we just come from the dog park and I don't want to leave him in the car and their always so sweet to him and I let him pick out a toy because he loves the toys here. Compared to some other TJ Maxx locations that can feel disorganized, slow to restock, or less friendly, this location stands out. The store feels safe, well maintained, and has a genuinely positive atmosphere. Everyone always smiles back and seems happy to help. This is easily my favorite TJ Maxx in the area, and I always enjoy shopping here. I never leave empty handed here because the restocks are too good!!

Wow, their skin care is such a great value and wide selection of what you need. It is much cheaper than going to your Sephora or Ulta. The kitchen section is always stocked up with fun essentials. Since my last review, things at this store have gotten worse. On a lot of levels. There are tons of…read morepeople who full on run, sprint and power walk (which is not walking) upon the doors opening each morning at 9am sharp. The managers say to everyone "please do not run, walk only, be kind to others, blah blah blah" yet the stand there at the door and the registers and let them do what thy just loudly asked them NOT to do. I don't understand how anyone runs in this establishment. There are no emergency situations like earthquakes, power outages or fires that warrant running at any time of being in the store. People are going to get hurt! One of these people is a young college child, his name is John. He runs every day to get to the piles of music cd's on the shelves so he can find the high dollar ones to re-sell on ebay and amazon. He used to be a high school track star and has almost twice fallen down taking a corner too sharp. Yet the managers don't say a word to him to slow down, or kick him out for 5 or 7 days like they do to others in the store who constantly are always pushing, shoving others, or being rude and obnoxious. This young child John, 2 days ago as I went to grab some cd's came right across my whole hand and knocked them out of my hand and tried to pick them up as if to steal them from me! I told him to back off and if he ever touches me again that I would put him on the ground as self defense. He rudely badmouthed me and told me "too bad so sad". The very next day, he did it again but this time he tried to take the 4 cd's I had just grabbed to look at right out of my hands! I bit my tongue, but on my way out I pulled aside one of the managers who I thought would listen and try to do something about. He told me the next day (today) there would be a manager at the front door to confront and talk to him as he entered as well as another manager in the back to make sure he wasn't bothering others. Well neither thing happened and this knucklehead just sprinted in the store again and right by the manager 5 feet from the cd's and she didn't say anything to him or the others who were on a full on running sprint marathon to pick the aisles clean of the new items put out overnight. Korenna and Ingrid are the only female managers at this store. Barry, Nate, Joe and Joel are the male managers. Joe is quite honestly the only one who listens to customer complaints and sticks to what he says. This review along with another letter is going to be written to the LDS Mormon President as well as the Washington State Labor & Industries department.

Three full round racks of jeans (that's what I was looking for) plus some on the end of a few square racks. Sizes aren't easily identified so you have go through them all to find what you want. At a glance around, the racks are labeled and things are color coded. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but perhaps they were tired as it's the day before a holiday. Overall a successful trip and will return if I need a cheap item! The jeans I got were $6.61! Yay! Also they're only open weekdays so that's a thing to work around.

I had not been out here in a while and was looking for a winter coat in summer, having envisioned miles of aisles of coats. I was wrong. There is no coat factory any more, just an out-of-the-way store full of things you don't really need. I was really disappointed. I was looking for a store that I could go into to buy a coat rather than shop online, because I wanted to try my new would-be coat on. I'm a big man with a 58" chest and it is hard to find a nice coat in my size. And I'm loathe to go downtown and overpay. So I guess the deal is you have to wait for winter to buy winter coats so they can charge you more. At least one or two coats that are on sale in my size. But not at Burlington. When I hear that name I think of trains roaring through Golden Gardens. They do have a massive parking lot though.

She said there was not. Surprised by the lack of proper attitude towards a customer, I asked again. She said, "They have their jobs to do". I told her that I will buy my shoes elsewhere. The staff were very helpful, researched the old suit jacket and was able to order the pants (on clearance) to the store for alterations. Next was the new suit. Being 6'4", this could be a challenge. Ended up trying on half a dozen suits. Had to order the coat but had the pants. Returned a week later for alteration measurements. 2 weeks later, a new suit and a new pair of dress pants. And the price was reasonable. All together, 4 really competent staff helped out.

I've shopped here on and off over the last 20 years since I've lived in the area. Everybody says go…read moreto Nordstrom rack. Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job.
